The hotel was in a commercial area, but was nicely kept, the service was nice, the hotel was clean and the rooms were clean, roomy and nicely decorated. All that you could ask for.

Our room was very nice with plenty of room. We had a double queen suite on the 3rd floor. The only down side of the whole stay was Saturday night was a sweet sixteen party and a soccer convention, but even with the place over flowing with teenagers we slept soundly. Our dogs were loved by most of the staff, we have American Bully's. I was very happy that this hotel did not discriminate against our dogs and we will be happy to stay there again, and recomend that you stay there too!

While our overall experience was wonderful, the fragrance of the air in our room was overpowering and caused us to cancel our last night stay. It is the spray that is used to freshen the room and linens. It was an instant headache! While I am very aware that it is used to be welcoming, It was very unsatisfactory. I would like to know what to ask for on any return visits to the area.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good. The beds were uncomfortable. The staff was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay there immensley! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great with alot of variety and the immenities were outstanding! We only wished that there was on site laundry available. Would defintely stay at that hotel or any other Hampton Inn and Suites again!!!!! Thanks for the relaxing stay!!!

First my name is Johanna. The walls were thin. Hotel was not full but I was placed at end of hall and someone placed next to me. Slammed toilets seats. Talking loud. Sounding like construction going on. This all occurred between the hrs of midnight and three. The worst experience I've had. I am sorry I chose this one and will not return. A waste of my money. I should have gotten my money back. Shower stunk.

It was a very comfortable room.

Just stayed one night as we were visiting friends. Hotel and staff were both very nice. Would stay there again as the location was good also. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Excellent choice for both cost and comfort. Our room key (1 out of the 2) kept malfunctioning, other than that, everything was perfect.

We were very pleased with this hotel experience. Our first Christmas spent in any hotel and it couldn't have been more pleasant. Jude took care of our room and she was beyond good. We used the pool and hot tub with the grandchildren. The hotel was conveniently located for our needs. Breakfast was included. If you couldn't find something that appealed to you, you are not satisfied with anything. The staff does an outstanding job.

I really loved this hotel, very clean. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was clean, and convenient. The room was large enough to accommodate our family of 4. The beds were extremely comfortable as well.

Clean room, friendly staff, great service. The comp breakfast & wifi was great and the indoor pool a very nice treat.

The first stay which was a month ago everything was good except the on demand movies was not working so could not enjoy the tv second stay this past weekend the room above us had loud kids running and banging very loud the whole night long

This hotel was one of the better hotels we have stayed in. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The pool was a little cold, but the hot tub made up for that. My only issue is that we had been driving for 10 hours and wanted to check in early. I called every hour to check on the status of checking in early and was repeatedly told there were no rooms cleaned. I find it hard to believe that between 11:00 - 3:00 they can't have at least one room clean to accommodate.

Excellent , the hotel was located on a main street with shops located all around it . the staff was excellent and the free breakfast very tasty .

our stay was pretty good, the location was next to a bunch of restaurants that is just a walking distance from the hotel. Our room was pretty spacious for 5 adults, wifi was fast, and the breakfast was great with lots of varieties( my daughter has severe dairy allergies and she was able to eat the food with no problems), the only bad thing was that our room wasn't cleaned and the garbage was picked up on one day of our trip... But overall it was a wonderful saty. will definatly stay here agian

Really enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed.

Very clean room, nice pool, nice workout facility, good breakfast convenient location.

Quality service

It was a short drive to Virginia Beach and Norfolk. We easily found parking for just $2 an hour at the beach and had a very easy drive to the USS Wisconsin. Every restaurant you can imagine is within a couple of miles of the hotel, including a mall and countless shopping centers. The complimentary breakfast each morning was outstanding and changed each morning of our stay. Front desk staff were able to answer all of our questions about local travel. Beds were very clean and very comfortable. To top everything off our son loved the indoor pool. I wouldn't take the time to write a review if I wasn't very, very satisfied with my experience. I am certain we will stay there again in the future.

The staff were very nice and knowledgable about the area. We were looking for a good seafood restaurant close by and were given directions to one we were really pleased with. The room was VERY clean. The pillows and bed almost more comfortable than mine at home. We were visiting the beach and it was a little ways away from there...about 20 minutes but we wanted something more in our price range and was a nice place. This was perfect! We'll be staying with them every time we make an overnight trip to the beach.

Walls are paper thin. First room was next to workout room. I had to get up 3 times to go in and shut off the TV. After much complaining, they moved us to another room. The roon next to our bed had two dogs that barked at night. Complained again. Was told the hotel allowed dogs & we should speak to the owners about keeping them quiet. The computer in the business center was "out of order" Location was ok. Most employees well unwilling to help. The one exception was Sharon. Tried very hard to fix problems.

Average price for above average rooms. I booked this room using Hotels phone app and checked in about one hour later.

Other Hampton Inns had a better selection of breakfast foods but maybe I hit it on a wrong dag.

Loved it. The reviewers were right. It is a little out of the city, but if the price is right, it's nothing to drive the extra few miles. The staff is very friends. The room could be a little bigger when you are getting two queen beds, but the breakfast was above the average quality. The pool was great although parents should really get their little kids outta there by 10pm. Most importantly, the room was incredibly clean and the bedding was comfy and very very clean. Thank you!

Staff were very helpful, room quality good with a lot of extras that added to the experience. Room wifi free. Breakfast more than adequet.Overall a better standard than I expected for the price. Although I was a little dissappointed that the hotel had no restaurant the surrounding area facilities made up for this.

Clean room, nice fitness center and pool, and great breakfast selection!

Beautiful Luxurious room but NO MICROWAVE OR FRIDGE which to me is said with what I paid for the room. I am diabetic and my insulin is to be in a fridge I was not aware of this because in there explanations in rooms it said they had both of this items when I went downstairs to tell them some had them some not was not offered a change of room and although the room was nice it just gives you a bad feeling that days later it bugs me...

This hotel was a great vaule and was close to many of the areas of interest in this portion of Virginia.

The hotel was great - room was larger than expected and very clean and comfortable. Their staff was great as was the facility. Location is very convenient to everything. Almost walking distance to many restaurants; local to stores as well.

It was by far the BEST hotel stay my family and I have ever experienced. EVERYTHING was superb from the size of our suite to the high-quality bed linens. I will definitely make this my regualr spot in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach area.

The people were friendly and nice. The room was clean and smelled good.

The hotels's overall quality experience and proximity to the interstate highway, shopping mall, retails restaurants and major tourist attractions in the Tidewater Area of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach & Chesapeake was "Spot On"!! The complimentary "hot meals" was just the cure for two hungery teenagers too! Great place!

Stayed with kids + family doggy for xmas weekend. Located walking distance to everything we needed. Suite huge and beautiful, comfy beds. Housekeeping always had room immaculate upon return. Gym, Pool and hot tub wonderful. Hot bfast excellent. Will return for sure.

Recently stayed while on a overnight business trip. Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast was fresh and hot. The hotel was quiet. My on issue was the regulating the temperature in the room. Even with this hiccup I would still return on my next trip to the area.
