Crowne Plaza Hotel MUSCAT - مسقط

Great country, great city and very nice location overlooking the sea, city and beach. Lots of history and interesting places to visit. Muscat must be one of the few places left where the original atmosphere from Middle East can still be felt.

Very plesent stay, very friendly and helpful staff ... We were upgraded to a sea view room and the views are amazing

As the weather was also present, our stay was perfect. The Hotel will need a quick refresh to keep the first ranking. The beach suffers the gas-oil balls which unfortunatelly glue to feets...

Generally a very nice hotel with lots of sports facilities (tennis, squash, fitness and pool) free of charge. Many separate restaurants on site, with stunning views. But food a bit expensive. Nice retreat for both adults and kids.

Extremely friendly and mostly attentive service. Good location (if you have a car or aren't planning to leave the hotel anyway). Very good restaurants. Rooms worn-down and not well maintained or cleaned. Sea-view windows were so dirty that the sea was hard to see. Over priced for what you get, as most hotels in Muscat are.

The hotel is located on a hill, right on the ocean, west of the old city. easy to get to, 10 min drive from everywhere in muscat.A great Iranian restaurant named Shiraz is on the premises, make sure to reserve a table on the terrace for the evening.

Very over-priced - close on what I would class as a "ripp-off".

The hotel was clean and fine to stay, but it's nothing special. It's a basic hotel with basic rooms and pool. They do have very good restaurants though and food is very good and decently priced. The location is in the middle of nowhere really... but taxi's are very easy to get. The hotel was absolutely freezing, I was standing at reception and had to put a towel around me to keep warm! when i asked the receptionist why it was so cold, he laughed. When i asked again, he told me i could turn it down and pointed to the a/c ... it was on full blast at 4deg!!!! Who would do that!!!! also, whenever we tried to speak to reception there was a queue - check in/check out/concierge. They booked us on the wrong tour and there were a couple of communication issues like this. All in all it's OK, but don't expect anything special.

Although I booked a non smoking room with a King size bed, and reconfirmed the non smoking aspect on check in, I was shown to a smokin groom. When I complained I was told I can have a non smoking rrom with two beds, when I pointed out that I had a confirmed booking for a non smoking room with a king size bed, I was duly check into one, albeit on ground floor. The reception staff the next morning were much friendlier and helpful; generally though, poor and inconsistent service

We popped into this hotel on the off to see if they had a room and check out its rate. We had already seen the Hotels.com rate. The hotel rate was higher, so we told them of the Hotels.com rate and they couldnt match it , even with their internet rate ! We went to their Internet room and booked through Hotels.com, then walked back to reception with the reference, they were not happy ! The room was great except that the AC broke down, but they fixed it immediatly. We didnt eat there. I twice reminded them about smiling and on both occasions they reached for the plastic ones. . .

The Crowne Plaza Muscat is the ideal place to explore the city. It is only 15 mins or so from the airport and once at the hotel, only 10 mins to Old Muscat. Breakfast was included in our rate and definitely try booking with breakfast included as it really is a plus, and a huge selection is provided. my only gripe was being denied late check out. Considering I only checked in at 1830 the day of arrival, an extension to 1600 on the day of departure was all I required but the hotel receptionist politely told me that I can only have the room until 1400. However, not that much of a hassle. Love the fact that the hotel overlooks the Arabian sea and the nearby Japengo and Starbucks on the Corniche are a plus to wander to in the evening. Overall, great and would fully recommend it.

First night arrival. The room we had booked did not have a balcony as requested, but this was recified for the next 2 nights

Location is good and vlaue for money if booked thru hotels.com. I would recommend other buisness visitors too

WE had a lovely stay at the hotel, friendly and serviceminded staff. Location was ideal for us, close to the beach. WE have already recomended the hotel to others, If we go for another trip to Muscat this hotel will be our first choise.

Olimme hotelliin enemmän kuin tyytyväisiä ja erityisesti erinomaisen ystävälliseen palveluun. Ainoa, mikä hämmensi meitä ympäristöystävällisesti ajattelevia matkailijoita oli se, että siitä huolimatta, että toimimme hotellin antamien ohjeiden mukaisesti, pyyhkeet vaihdettiin joka päivä, vaikka olisimme pärjänneet samoilla koko sen ajan, kun olimme hotellissa eli 3 päivää.

Idéalement placé dans Mascate, service de qualité. Hôtel très agréable, idéal pour découvrir la ville et ses environs. Reposant avec toutes les qualités d'un resort de rang. Bien également pour une halte business.

Excellent hotel, private beach, clean sea, huge/clean room (Club Executive sea view), good food, helpful and very friendly staff (concierge a bit lost). Curtesy service 2x daily to near Mall and Old Souk. Costs 1/2 as much as Al Bustan or The Yedi and is much closer to the souk.

Service på topp.God mat og bra rom. Anbefales for en avslappende ferie.

bonne situation, service correct, restauration très bien. Manque quand même un peu de charme. Je n'y passerais pas toutes mes vacances mais quelques jours en passant c'est bien

Het hotel heeft een goede centrale ligging. Op loopafstand van bloulevard met oa. een Starbucks. Hotelbus brengt gasten 2 x per dag gratis naar nieuwe Mall of oude centrum. Prima zwembad en fitness faciliteiten. Prive strand wel zo fijn voor niet islamitische dames. Hotel wel wat ouder maar zeker niet oubbollig zoals Hyatt. Engelse pub elke avond gezellig druk. Italiaans restaurant een aanrader. Helaas geen gratis internet en geen BVN TV kanaal.

Hyggeligt hotel med gode faciliteter.
