Hotel Felix Chicago - شيكاغو

While the hotel is nice enough itself (clean rooms, clean throughout, modern look/feel) I was more than upset while checking in. Weeks prior to my visit I booked a room and was told it would be on the top floor with a roomy 350 sq. ft. The room was more expensive than I would have liked but as it was the only one available with 2 beds I took it. When I arrived at the hotel I was told the previous guest had not checked out in time and as a result I was given two rooms with one bed each. these rooms where small, 9x8 small. The hotel staff told me they would not be charging me for the extra room (which somehow cost the same as the room I originally booked.) and if she had I would have laughed at her anyhow. For me this was unacceptable. Their valet service was a joke as well. We were informed to allow up to 20 minutes for our vehicle to be brought around, understandable. While walking back to the hotel I called ahead with the ticket number so that I would only wait a few minutes for the car. After arriving at the hotel I waited 15 minutes before a valet attendant was even available, and when I asked about my car he gave me a quizzical looked and went to get the vehicle, the whole process took about a half hour. For the most part their staff seemed pretty unintelligent. The only positive aspect to my stay at Hotel Felix was the business card I received from the front desk allowing me to be expedited through waiting for a table at Yolk (which was excellent I might add).

Spring for the suite because the additional dozen square feet it gives you is worth it. This time just got the standard queen and have two bruises from bumping into corners in the room because it is just soooo small - albeit pretty. I'd stay there again but only if I got a deal on a bigger room.

Nice Hotel, a little small but the price here was better in comparison to other Chicago hotels. The Elate restaurant and bar is really cool too. Nice vibe. The drinks even tried to be pro-earth if that makes sense. They even plant a tree for every certain cocktail purchased. I'm not even a save the world kind of guy but I thought that was pretty awesome. My only gripe would be that our hotel room didn't have a refrigerator. Not that it was listed to have one, but I just assumed that was a certainty. Oh well.

Fabulous Eco friendly hotel! Modern but comfortable and luxurious. Makes the most of small spaces in Chicago. My husband and I along with both our children (4 and 6) stayed in a room with 1 queen bed? They slept on the floor and there were no complaints from any of them on comfort. We absolutely will be staying there again! Ps price is great! I would expect a hotel of this quality to be much higher priced.

Pros: -Very comfy bed -H2O+ travel products -Walking distance to Magnificent Mile, John Hancock Center, Navy Pier, and plethora of shops Cons: -Small space -Bathroom sink is more awkward than it looks; I highly suggest to NOT bring a lot of toiletries, makeup kits, anythings that easily takes away space

This hotel was clean and in a good location but the room was so small it felt like I was on a cruise. Although the price was reasonable, it was no bargain. There was nothing wrong with it except the size of the room, but I would stay elsewhere next time.

Great staff. Room was tiny but beautifully appointed. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet at night but not during the day. No real closet space. Ask for a room away from the elevators.

Hotel Felix in Chicago was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping on Michigan Ave & surrounding boutiques, Millimeum Park and the Navy Pier. If you prefer not to walk to the pier or to the park, it's about a $5-7 cab ride. It's close to the Clark/Lake station which provides access to multiple train stations, rental car services & cabs. The hotel is modern, beautiful, and has a great restaurant and spa (I used both - great service at each). The room itself is smaller than an average hotel room, but it's everything you need. I'm rarely in my room while on vacation so it was definitely adequate for my needs. I would recommend this hotel to friends & family and although I like to try new places constatly, I would go back to Hotel Felix on another trip to Chicago.

We checked in way early without even asking beforehand, had friendly service for our week's stay, and loved the location and the feel. As many other reviewers have noted, our room was indeed small, but the overall sleek decor and the updated bathroom made it feel luxuriant.

The hotel rooms are small, but very clean. There are no standard amenities: for example, no alarm clock, no cups, no coffee maker, microwave or fridge. The service is very slow. The spa claims to have long hours, but is actually dark most of the day. They only staff it when people make appointments, so their claim to offer drop in services is not true. The resturant is poorly managed. I had to go into the kitchen in order to find my waiter the first morning, after waiting about 20 minutes for him to return to the resturant. He was in conversation. The second day I ate there the waiter was legitmately busy and after waiting about 20 minutes since requesting my bill, I asked the hostess, who had been on the phone for the whole 40 minutes I was there.

We were very happy with the style and comforts. Awesome location for a downtown Chicago trip. Our room was literally a bed, very small. But nice decor and clean. However for the price I couldn't complain.

Hotel Felix is a good hotel if your visiting for a day or so. The rooms are very small. My stay at the hotel was ok. Some staffs were nice and some were rude. Chad & Naomi were great. Be sure to ask for them. I give this hotel a three because Ashley and Nicole gave me a hard time with my check in and check out. They are rude and have no professionalism. Customer service is everything. But other than that the hotel was nice if your looking to stay for a day or so.

Great biz hotel with friendly staff. The rooms, albeit small, are nice and clean. The beds are comfy and the location of the hotel means little noise (which I sometimes find bothering in the US). Really no complaints and given the competitve rate we got I will definitely stay there again.

The rooms might be small but are very clean from beds to washrooms. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the felix and would come back again.

staff was very friendly & service was wonderful. only problem was the room was way to tiny & no fridge. kept banging my knees into the beds. i would still go again.

Guests were noisy and nothing was done about the party and went on for hours. Also the sink drain did not drain and the sink tended to overflow. We brought it to the hotel's attention but they didn't take care of the problem

Watch for bargins, this is a good hotel for 100-140 range, rooms are small but nice.

The hotel was good for the price and cute, but our room was obviously originally one room that was split into two. The window was all the way over on the far side of the wall and felt a little strage.

Felix Hotel is located in nice location, easy access to the magnificent mile and surrounding restaurants. My room was quite small, probably due to it being a corner room but it was well maintained and I look forward to coming back to The Felix at some point this year.

I have stayed at the Hotel Felix several times and am very impressed. The hotel has a great location near restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. It has a very intimate, swanky and exclusive feel and the staff is exceedingly friendly and accomodating. The only downside is the rooms are small so if you don't mind a small room I would highly recomend it.

hotel quality is good but room is very small for this price! over is ok.... and parking is $40.00 pre night also little over price.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only minor complaint was that the heating system was somewhat loud when it clicked on at night. Other than that....perfect. Some may feel the rooms are slightly small...but I stayed alone and thought it was plenty of room. Definitely a great place to stay...much better than the other cookie cutter places out there.

Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice cozy spot with great staff and cute decor.

The Hotel Felix is a modern looking, hip hotel with a great atmosphere. Rooms are a bit small but the size of the room really wasn't an issue at all for us because the cleanliness, style and great customer service made up for that. We realized that Portillos hot dogs was literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel so that made staying at the Hotel Felix even more enjoyable! I would absolutly reccomend this hotel and I can't wait to come back to Chicago.

If you go for the queen room, be warned it is small, but it still a very nice room. Everything was new and clean in the room. The hotel staff was awesome, and very helpful. The hotel itself is in a very good location as well, no more than 4 blocks from Rush St, and 5 from Magnificent Mile; all very walkable. Overall, a good stay for my birthday weekend!

This hotel was wonderful with their service, very clean room, extremely professional staff, the price was average to other hotels available in the area. However, the room size is relatively small and they do not have a large staff in the hotel lobby at night so if you arrive late, you may have to wait for someone to help you. This hotel is worth the stay if you do not mind a small room and few staff in the hotel.

Excellent stay. All main attractions are very close. Easily accessible to bus and train. Walking distance to the best local food eateries. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Rooms are comfortable with a good view of the city. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and will stay here again in the future.
