San Juan Plaza Hotel - سان خوان

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a good time. The hotel was very clean, good location, close to the beach, and some place to eat, nice staff, really comfy bed!

Jean was really helpfull with the checkin at late night in the hotel and it was nice experience.

OK hotel for 1-2 nights stay. Good enough breakfast. Close to the beach.

We were NOT informed of the change of hotel ownership so were very upset that we didn't earn our points - as that was the ONLY reason why we selected this hotel in the first place. Accommodations are only OK at best. The rooms were very humid and everything (including our clothes) were damp all the time. YUCKY!! The hotel beds were way too soft - had back aches the entire time we were there. Our room was reportedly a 'disabled room'. It was NOT set up to accommodate anyone in a wheelchair - counter, beds too high, tub not accessible, couldn't get a wheelchair around the beds - too small spaces. Breakfast OK but not what I expected (wanted yogurt, scones, more fruit). Tour desk staff very helpful - but don't do any of their tours - way to pricey - you can do it yourself online. Nice to have access to wi-fi.

The only thing that wasn't too accommodating was the fact that the hotel had no parking, so one had to pay 15 dollars a day for parking. Everything was great!! They even swap my tv out because the remote was missing!!

The lobby was fine. But when I entered the room it was small. Tried to turn on the t.v (L.G) the remote was from Toshiba couldn't do anything and then found a Roach under the dining table alive..

had bigger rooms and baths in london UK. walls ect stained and dirty, linnon looked ok. checked out even though non refundable and wen to raddison down street for $20 more a night for sute with breakfest.

If you are looking for a place to stay with great prices ! this is it!!!! If you are going on a business trip there is no printer. Everything other than that was great =)

I've had in the past years stayed in san juan, condado area and ii love the area as a whole. The hotel doesn't have its own parking that's what I'm use to and the bathroom iis tiny. I did enjoy the convience of the hotel to the beach and the highway. AND breakfast is happeniing I enjoyed it.

Great location and close to the beach, shops and great nightlife. Everything is a walk away which is great if you don't rent or have a car. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller end however the service was great. The staff were very professional and go out of their way to help. They had great breakfast selection.

If you are looking for a place to crash in the heart of Condado with no bells & whistles, then, this is the place. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint was the complimentary breakfast, the dining area is ridiculously small for the amount of guests, and there was always a big line and not enough tables. The lobby is also small with just one couch and a love seat but, you get what you pay for.

Service is very slow. I am a priority member and they made me wait until 3 pm to check in. They have no concenpt of customer service.

Our stay was too short to make a very detailed review. The only comments that I have that might be negative is that we thought that the beddings were not very clean! The people at the desk were polite.

The rooms are small but The bed was comfy. Good for a quick stay

The front desk personnel were helpful when I needed to get some work docs done by letting me use their office. Complimentary breakfast was good, location was good near the airport and Old San Juan. Room was small and had no microwave or fridge all extra $. Parking is also extra. Maids were friendly and accommodating.

Our stay was ok, the front desk clerk was rude and we were road to leave our luggage with a personnel who charged by the bag when we arrived early to hold and charged is to Take the luggage to the room. We told them we would handle our own bags, but the man still followed us to the elevator telling us he was taking the luggage to the room. We arrived to the room and he stood inside the door with his handout. Charging an additional two dollars per bag.

The room was so small, that you will think you are in a cruise ship. Other than that the hotel was great. Had an excellent breakfast included and a great staff. Definitely would stay again. Just wished the rooms were bigger, especially the bathroom.

When we came to the hotel, maintenance was not good and tought "what's happening? it is a Holiday Inn..." so, I received less than I paid overall.

The hotel was certainly fine for what we needed. That is, something close to the airport for an early flight the next day. The desk staff was very helpful and let me print a boarding pass as well as keep some leftovers in their office refrigerator.

To much noise and breakfast was the same everyday, the eggs were like rubber and the sausage were undercook. The computer never worked while i was there, the satff were nice and helpful, overall i rather pay a little bit more and have more comfort especailly at night.

the internet made the room seem much newer and bigger than it really was it was not want I expected since I had stayed in the in the past. The bathroom was super small no room to turn around in.

We paid for a good room, and when arrived were given a room smaller than my kitchen. We got a room too small to enjoy. the bathroom was very cramped and uncomfortable. I will never stay here again. In 50 years of staying in hotels/motels this was our worst experience. This room should be converted to a broom closet.

The hotel was easy to reach. We got off the Carnival Victory cruise ship,and hopped a bus up-town. One driver wouldn't let us take our bags, but the next one didn't care! We couldn't check into our room until 4PM, but they stored our bags, and we walked to the beautiful beach, had lunch, and walked back. The room had musty smell, sprayed perfume! We stayed here partly because of the breakfast, but had to leave for the airport by 5AM , they didn't start serving until 6.

The hotel was good for what we needed. We were within walking distance from restaurants, beach, shopping and public transportation. The complimentary breakfast was better then what I expected.

Overall the room was good, there was a old moldy smell, but I guess it is typical for coastal locations in older hotels. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants, including Cartier & Gucci if your into that type of shopping. Hotel staff was friendly, the gal at check in helped us find a driver to show us around for a day, even his favorite watering hole..which also had the best seafood we have had in a long time. Our stay was only for two nights, then we hopped aboard the cruise ship for the week.

Stayed here before, was better the first time. The employees are nice and very helpful. Some of the staff that came to work early in the morning (around 4:30) were loud and woke us up with voices and slamming doors. I'm not really sure if I will stay again. The location is great for what we need so I will consider this when we book our next trip to San Juan.

The hotel stay was HORRIBLE! I thought that it would be ok-nice because it was in the Condado district but it wasnt by far. The staff didnt speak much english but that wasnt a big deal. However, the hotel had an odor, I went out and brought air freshner. In our FIRST room the air conditioner was very loud, the restroom was the size of a backseat in a beetle. We were moved to another room, the hot water went out while my boyfriend was in the shower. We were asleep and when we woke up a huge roach was above our heads. The jacuzzi was dirty, no microwave in the rooms or the lobby. I never write reviews but I promise this hotel was crappy.

For the price it was adequate. A block from condado beach in front of the concha hotel...go to that beach atleast once. Shop around you might be able to find better room on sun, mon, tuesday, wed nights. But for a last minute basic option on weekend nights you might consider it or the comfort inn around the corner. To go to old San Juan costs you $30 round trip taxi. If you don't want to be by the beach consider staying in old San Juan!

The hotel is located in a nice area. There is a park and beach that's only a 5 minute walk away. Also, there is a liquor store, Walgreen's, souvenir shops, Gucci and Cartier shops all within a 10 minute or less walk. The room was OK. It did smell kind of musty or maybe mildew would be a better way to say it. Also, the free WiFi network was working but the front desk password would not grant us access. We brought this to their attention but all they could do was to reset the WiFi but this didn't work. If we cruise out of San Juan and are only staying here for 1 or 2 nights, I would recommend it.

Nice location, beautiful neighborhood, breakfast was ok. Hotel is ok if your not going to be in it the whole day...

bathroom is very small for the rate paid.

this hotel was not comfortable.broken ceiling.i had to ask the front desk to send someone up to spray airfreshner in my room.

Breakfast is OK but there were not enough tables for the number of people eating at once. The room is nice for a budget hotel. Don't count on having a parking space. There are only 20 and are given on a first come, first served basis. But once someone had a spot it was theirs till they gave it up. Meaning, if you don't get a parking spot when you arrive, forget it. You won't get one and you can't reserve a spot with your reservation. The young woman on duty from 3:00 - 11:00 pm is a wealth of knowledge about the area. Unfortunately, no one else was. We received more wrong information than right from everyone else. Have a good map available. The Avis Car Rental a block away has the friendliest and most helpful agent I have ever encountered.
