Excellent hotel, highly recommended. Good location, large room, friendly, helpful staff with good english. Great place!

Overall, it is a good hotel in an okay area however we also stayed in Old Town and I would recommend that area to stay in as it has more character and charm. The hotel itself was nice enough but not amazing for the price, again breakfast was okay but not amazing although the hot food was cooked to order and breakfast is available all day. Staff were helpful although when we checked in you felt he was just reeling off the welcome speel rather than showing any personality. I'm being a bit picky because I think for the price you should be able to expect an amazing hotel with personal service which this isn't, the Aphrodite cocktails in the bar were amazing though!

this is defiantly a hotel i will sty in again. the staff are very nice and helpful. i came here for business and this is a hotel i will come back with my wife for vacation. breakfast is served all day. if you missed the regular hours (from 7 to 11) they will cook you the breakfast anytime you ask. the room is very big with a huge bed (i am 6.3 inches). everything is very modern with very good taste.

Minimalist design, but not at the expense of comfort. As others have noted, the bed was perhaps the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Though not huge, it had all the amenities I like (even a good bathrobe). Every single staff person was friendly and cheerful, which is somewhat of an anomaly in Prague. Great value for money. The only negative is that, if you plan to spend significant time working in your room, you might want a desk chair with better back support than the back-less sitting cube provided.

We loved it there. My brothers and I had a great time. The hotel was walking distance to the mall, Weslases Square, Old Town & New town as wel as a bunch of clubs bars and restaurants. there is a nice bar & restaurant at the hotel and a nice quiet lounge also. The best thing at the hotel though is the people. Sylvia,Marketa, Lanka, and Sasha were very friendly and attentive. Always greeeting us with a smile and willingly helping us with all our questions and troubles.(first time in Europe, Lufthansa strike, lost luggage) If you girls are reading this thank you again.

Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful!

icon is a nice hotel, w/terrific customer service, & free breakfast until 11pm. its location is ideal to the hot spots of prague. what sucked was that my room was constantly too hot & the A/C wasnt efficient enough to cool my room in a timely manner & their system for a wake up call is inefficient at best, dont rely on them for it. rely on your own resources. but as an experience & based on the questions of this survey, this hotel deserves 5 stars.

Very happy with our stay here, would recommend to all. Only negative was the lack of choice for UK tv channels (news only).

After spending three + weeks sifting through various websites and guide books searching for a hotel in Prague, I decided on the Icon and am very happy with my choice. I'm admittedly a picky hotel tenant, but I had no complaints. Here's my summary... Service: From the moment I made the reservation, I received prompt responses via email regarding transportation from the airport. Upon arrival and throughout the stay, the concierge was attentive and helpful. Room: The room itself was quite hip, calming, and very clean. The beds were comfy, the free WiFi worked perfectly, and the bathroom was cool (although it took some doing to make sure the shower didn't spray water all over the bathroom floor. Oops). Breakfast: I'm still dreaming about their breakfast! Fruit, pastries and breads, meats and cheeses were all available at the buffet. We also ordered eggs off of their breakfast menu. Location: I must say, we're not much for staying in touristy areas (which this hotel is in). However, the hotel is located on a quiet side street, away from all of the hullabaloo on Vaclavske Namesti, yet close enough to experience its liveliness. Another great thing about the location is its close proximity to public transit. Five very useful tram lines are within 1/2 a block and all three of the Metro (underground) lines are within 1/2-3 blocks. This ideal location makes for easy traveling throughout the city. Overall: This is a superb hotel in a city rife with hotel options. When I return to Prague, I will definitely stay here.

july 2011. 4 days in prague. not right in the centre but just 10-15mns walk. easy walking distance. nice walk back to the hotel after an evening meal. bedroom: 8/10 we were staying in a junior suite. good size room, nice bed, good bathroom. clean breackfast: 7/10 good I have seen better but all you need is there. food in the room: 8/10 we had 2 meals in the room. very good (we are french). good size portion, quick and friendly. massages: 5/10 not the best we had. they do not speak english so hard to communicate. Prague: 8/10 buudhabar restaurant 9/10 segway tour (prague in segway.com) 8/10

We stayed at the Hotel Luxe for almost a week during a visit to Prague and absolutely loved it. From check-in to check-out the hotel staff were completely helpful with every request. The only thing we found lacking was the staff's knowledge of food places around (especially late night eats)...but other than that, they were perfect. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it without reservation.

i was in the icon hotel for 5 dats & 4 nights/ it was wonderful: large room. clean.and aesthetic. the stuff were very attentive, nice & helpful. free wi-fi. (free &working :-); and the safe in the room is convenient . the location is 3 minutes walk from the center. notice - dont expect a nice view from the window. there are buildings all around. all & all, very recomended !!

Perfect location and service , great beds to sleep , all day breakfast - all that you need for a stay in Prague.

This hotel was in a great location, close to the heart of old Prague, the river, theaters, historic sites, trams, reataurants of all kinds. 10 minute walk to major centers and river. Safe walk at night. Staff were great: friendly, very helpful, always there, spoke excellent English. Excellent breakfast included, and restaurant for other meals. Clean, interesting lobby and room designs. Historic building. Would stay again without hesitation.

Icon is a gem hidden just off Wenceslas Square. Having been to Prague a number of times I can say with authority that the hotel experience you will have at the Icon is above and beyond what you may find at other Czech lodging. Superb in every way, the care and attention to detail on behalf of the staff was truly excellent. Notably: the food at the Icon was outstanding- something that can sometimes be quite lacking in an otherwise perfect city. High makrs on their room service menu. Our trip was a romantic getaway for two, and the young, modern, hip atmoshpere was perfectly suited to this.

The hotel itself is pretty good, in a very good location. the stuff is very friendly and usefull. the problem is they don't have a parking, and the cheapest parking is 30 euro a day, which is too high, and located 5 minutes walk.

Can recommend this hotel to anyone. Room extremely good and especially the bed, free internet, excellent breakfast and helpful staff. What more can you ask for? Short walk to shopping street, Old town and metro/tram.

Great design, welcoming, helpful and relaxed staff plus some clever innovations (skype phoning from your room) made this a fantastic experience for us. Just off Wenceslas square in a quiet street but close to transport and the main sights, the hotel was everything we expected (from reading reviews) and more.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the sheer quality of our stay at the Icon Hotel in Prague. Super location with easy walking distance to most sights in the city center. Very nice design of the hotel and the rooms - the Hästens beds are really comfortable. But what really sets this hotel apart was the friendly and helpful and knowledgable staff. Its some of the best service I have experienced at any hotel! At our stay the air conditioning was broken in our room, the temperature was not too bad since we could open the window instead. We each got a relaxing and soothing 30 min foot-massage in the hotels Asian spa as a compensation. We will definately be back to Prague and this hotel in particular.

Was exceptionally pleased with the hotel and room appearance. Its location is walkable to many tourist sights in Prague, and an easy tram ride to many others. Staff was extraordinarily helpful providing guidance on getting around the city, alerting us when missing baggage arrived, recommending restaurants, and calling to schedule cabs / laundry / etc.

One of the best hotels, especially for the price, I have stayed in. Staff extremely helpful and always available. Room new, clean and with all modern conveniences. Would strongly recommend for anyone visiting Prague.

The Icon Hotel was fantastic! Staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was much bigger and better than I would have expected. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed the room themes. Additionally, the location is superb. Highly recommend!

El hotel esta en una calle muy bonita y a distancia a pie de todas las atracciones. El desayuno es excelente y sin un horario tope. El servicio es muy bueno. Y tiene un restaurante de tapas que es excelente, con muy buena atención y deliciosa comida.

Hotellet var i ok beliggenhet, nær alle interesseounkter. Frokost ble servert hele dagen noe som passer trøtte turister utmerket :) betjeningen var hyggelig og serviceminded, rommene strøkne. Sett bort i fra en liten misforståelse med klesvasken var oppholdet perfekt. Velger å gi full pott da totalopplevelsen var svært bra :)

Fint och nyrenoverat rum. Hästens sängar att sova i. Vi var nöjda med precis allt. Dessutom fanns det spa på hotellet som var mkt bra och billigt. Låg på en lugn gata så det var helt tyst på kvällarna (dock ngt lyhört när folk gick i korridoren) men i övrigt helt perfekt. Nära allt.

Veldig bra og hyggelig hotell med ung og imøtekommende betjening. Vi hadde et romslig dobbeltrom med herlige, store senger og lekkert bad. Rommet vårt har vindu mot gaten, så det eneste negative vi kan nevne er noe trafikkstøy, samt innsyn fra kontorene i bygget vis a vis hotellet. Men tilsvarende dobbeltrom finnes også med vindu mot baksiden av hotellet. Det er kort vei til Vaclavplassen der butikker ligger på rekke og rad, og fem minutter å rusle bort til den gamle bydelen med hyggelige restauranter og masse liv. Vi anbefaler hotellet på det varmeste, og kommer helt sikkert til å velge det samme neste gang vi skal hit!

Empfang war superfreundlich und uns wurde sogar das Zimmer mit allen Eigenschaften gezeigt. Sie haben sich mit dem Einrichten sehr viel Mühe gegeben und das Zimmer war relativ gross, sauber, angenehm. Leider und daher meine mediokre Bewertung, ist das Frühstück mässig, bis schlecht (kleine Auswahl und viel zu fettig gekocht) / direkt vor dem Zimmer die Lüftung machte konstant Lärm (war nachts nur ein paar Stunden wirklich Ruhe) - die Zimmer wurden nicht immer mit gleichen Sorgfalt gemacht. (Pyjama mal im Bett mal irgendwot, Seife im Bad nicht aufgefüllt...) / Lage ist sehr zentral, aber als Frau alleine würde ich dort alein nicht durchmüssen - viele Clochards, die rumlungern und auf der strasse schlafen.

Lage nah am Altstadtkern/Nationalmuseum sowie fußläufig zum Gay-District. Kleines, aber durchaus schönes 24/7-Frühstück inkl Joghurt, Obstsalat, Wurst, Marmeladen, Croissant etc sowie Pancakes/Rührei ala carte 1x inklusive. Guter Zustand und schönes Design des Zimmers/Hotels sowie sehr hochwertige Betten. Personal freundlich und professionell. Gerne wieder :)

Mycket trevligt och prisvärt hotell i centrala Prag. Fantastiskt vänlig personal med personligt bemötande och vad gör inte Hästenssängar för en bra upplevelse.

Trés bien situé. Moderne et confortable. Personnel agréable.Une réserve: notre chambre était mal insonoriése (bruits de la chambre voisine) et atmosphére séche et chaude.

Vi hadde fire fantastiske dager i Praha, hvor vårt opphold på The Ikon var "prikken over I'en". Hotellet framstår som et moderne og godt vedlikeholdt hotell. Store luftige rom med senger fra Hästens og beliggende i en rolig sidegate, ble det også god nattesøvn. Hotellet ligger sentralt med gåavstand til de fleste fasiliteter (Klokketårnet, Karlsboren, museum osv) og bare et par minutters gange til Prahas største handlegate. Trikk og t-bane i umiddelbar nærhet. Servicen på hotellet er meget bra! Engelsktalende resepsjonister som var svært behjelpelige med alt fra booking av transfer til/fra flyplass og guidede turer. Frokosten var svært god og ble servert fram til kl. 23.00. Dette hotellet anbefales på varmeste. Her skal jeg bo neste gang jeg skal til Praha.

Toppen hotell med bra läge, bra personal, bra mat, bra rum, modernt och jätte fin lounge. Fanns ett thai massage center på hotellet som vi tog behandlingar på. Jätteduktiga! Har verkligen inget att klaga på förutom en liten sak och det är att Det var ganska lyhört på natten, mycket liv runt om på gatorna tots att vi hotellet ligger på en sidogata så det kunde vara lite störande i sömnen, rekomenderar er att ta detta hotellet men ta med ett par öronproppar. Verkar som alla hotell som ligger centralt har detta problemet då prag är en livlig stad =) Du har iallafall promenadavstånd till precis allt. Och missa inte Kobe restaurang, fantastiskt god mat och fin design.

situe pres du quartier historique, le personel est tres serviable et les chambres de bonne qualite. Les lits sont particulierement bons et ils font meme de la pub pour les sommiers de marque. Tout nous a plu a part peut etre le system d air conditionne un peu etouffant. Dans l ensemble c est un hotel ou je retournerai avec plaisir. Le spa est un juste un peu limite dans le fait qu il ne propose que des massages thai.

Vi var ein familie på fem stykkje og vår første inntrykk av hotellet var svært positivt. Betjeningane var svært imøtekomande og ga oss ein følelse av å være verdifulle. Opplysningene vi fekk var meget tilfredstillande. Det var absolutt ingenting å klage over hverken om frukost buffet, rommene våres og reingjeringa generelt. Vi hadde ein god ferie med gå avstand til det meste av byen. Vi kan gjerne anbefale dette hotellet til andre. Eldste jenta vår har allerede planar om å ta med sine venner tilbake til Praha og gjerne bo på dette hotellet.

Une literie de trés bonne qualité, un service de chambre irréprochabble, un trés bon rapport qualité/prix.

全てのスタッフかどうかは分からないけど、皆対応がフレンドリーで感じがよい。朝早く着いたため、荷物だけでも置かせてもらおうと思ってホテルまで行ったら、部屋は用意できてるからってことでチェックインさせてくれた。ただのラッキーだったと思うけど、感じ良し。部屋は広くないけど小奇麗で、飛び抜けたオシャレさはないけど上々でした。
