Anantara Phuket Villas - فوكيت

The property was AMAZING - by the end of our stay, we were VERY relaxed. However, given Anantara name, cost, I would've expected more attn to quality and detail. Eg, robes/slippers in room had dark stains in the orange and blue was worn out, desperately in need of replacement. Same with towels in restaurant (the towels in room were ok) - frayed. Seemed like hotel was grand when it opened, but they haven't upkept. If I found ratty robes,slippers/towels in a 3-star hotel, I wouldn’t have been critical, but for a 5 star (which is more expensive than surr resorts), expected more. 2nd issue - when we asked whether late check was avail, they said they need to chk but even if avail, there wld be surcharge. That’s just poor service, given the isolated location. I wld be ok if room was not avail, but the reply I got showed they didn’t care. I wrote an email reflecting above to hotel. Suggested towels, robes, slippers could be updated and they should not be making money off of surcharges for late check out - its avail or not! They called and offered complimentary late checkout, which was nice, but experience left bitter taste. On another note, we arrived on a late flight so asked hotel to arrange transport. A hotel-arranged car would cost a price that was 2x the cost compared to airport limousine avail at airport for 2 people. HOWEVER, when we left and asked front desk staff to call taxi, price was only 1/2 of cost of airport limousine, ie 1/3 of cost quoted by hotel to pick us up!

Would recommend to ANYONE. This resort has it all and is in the most beautiful location. The villas are exactly as they appear on line - gorgeous, lush and huge! The staff is super attentive and helpful. The villas itself sell this property - the rooms were impeccable and the pool and surrounding areas were the most beautiful I have ever seen in a resort. Would recommend this to anyone. The only negative is that this resort is a ways away from the lively action of Phuket - so if you are looking to "get away" than this resort is it! If you want the action of a city, then I would stay elsewhere - this was calm and relaxing area of town.

Pros: Villa interior itself was spacious and very comfortable. Shower was very nice as well. Room service was nice as well. Try the tum kha gai. Cons: In-villa pool does not have heated water and was freezing even in July. The resort is quite dark at nights making the walk back to the villa unpleasant. The resort is infested with mosquitoes. Around the pool area as well as outside the villa, the place has a lot of mosquitoes. This makes the walk back to the villa after sunset very unpleasant. It is really sad to see that the resort has so many mosquitoes. It is infested with them. The resort acknowledged that they do have a mosquitoes but blamed it on the lagoon and the surroundings in the resort. The villa interior is great except for the not very large TV screen. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has a problem with mosquitoes. It makes the whole trip very unpleasant.

03-10-2010 to 06-10-2010 Perfection is something quite far for human beings to reach however this hotel is exceeding all your expectations. It is simply a wonderful place for honeymooners to be. I got Pool Villa. It is the same description in the website. They are very honest of what is there in the site!! It is totally a private villa with its own swimming pool. VERY CHARMIMG design and finishing. The beach is another STORY which can be described with BEAUTIFUL. The public swimming pool is very nice as well. The moment you put your stuff on seats they will offering you two green apples and cold water. Breakfast is good. You have to try some cocktails in the Tree house , fabulous. You don’t have to leave this hotel as everything you need is there. When you order food , they will bring it to your Villa. The point of booking in this hotel is to have private relaxing time far from town noise/jam. Definitely, I will visit this place again.

今回は1泊だけでしたが10時半にホテルに到着したにもかかわらず11時過ぎには部屋に案内してくれました。昼食も非常においしくただ出てくるのが少し遅いのが難点でした。それとドリンクが通っていなかったらしく食後に出てきました。夕食もホテルでとりました。量は多く味もまずまずでした。全体的に食事の値段が少し高いですね。1日中部屋のプールで過ごして本当に心身ともにリフレッシュしました。地理的に虫は仕方ないですね。

고객 서비스가 너무 부실함 불편사항을 이야기 해도 전혀 개선이 되지 않고 질문에 대해서 제대로 답변을 하지 않네요 심지어 체크아웃시 버기가 오지를 않아 짐을 끌고 프론트까지 이동하게 되었네요. 그리고 마사지는 비싼 가격에 비해서 너무 별로 였음 푸켓 풀빌라를 4번 가봤지만 최악의 풀빌라로 기억됩니다. 아난타라에 대한 브랜드 이미지도 정말 안좋아지는 계기가 되었습니다.

最高のステイでした。　空港から１５分くらい。　プールヴィラに泊まりましたが、いつでも心置きなく、人の目を気にすることなく、泳げ、屋外バスに入れ、本当に寛げました。　ハードも申し分なく綺麗で広いスペースでした。お食事も美味しく、ビーチにもすぐ行け、美しい夕日が見られました。　スタッフも繊細な対応をしてくれ、日本人の感性と通じるものがあると思います。　その割に値段もリーズナブルに感じました。　ただ、アナンタラ・クラブとかへの勧誘がそこここであり、ちょっと戸惑いましたが(笑)また機会あったら泊まりたいと思います。

4인가족 (어른 둘, 아이 둘) 휴가 다녀왔습니다. 비용의 압박이 약간 있었지만 매우 만족 합니다... 호텔에서 저녁 식사시에 (애피타이저 1개, 메인 3개,디저트 2개) 비용이 한화로 약 20만원 정도 나오더군요... 하지만 충분히 가치가 있다고 생각 했습니다... 여하튼 매우 만족....

住过huahin和samui的anantara,这个最好，硬件和服务都不错。旁边就是jw,可以去那里吃饭买东西。我们先住了四天jw,然后搬过来，两个酒店很互补

Celkový dojem ze 14 denního pobytu je velmi dobrý. Snídaně dost slabá, jsme zvyklí na větší výběr. Na výběr bylo asi ze tří druhů vajec na počkání - 2 vejce na měkko trvaly asi 15 minut... takže vás při čekání přešla chuť. Výběr ze tří tvrdých sýrů a tří salámů. Ovoce dostatek (jelikož je samozřejmě všude okolo na stromech). Personál snaživý a velmi úslužný. Občas trochu nechápavý - neumí dobře anglicky. Často se mi stalo, že jsem si objednala jídlo a donesli mi jiné (během 10 minut vyměnili), ale samozřejmě partner už měl dojedeno a já jedla sama... takže docela neprofesionální - za ty peníze... Např. místo lososa jsem dostala tuňáka, místo carbonara arrabiata... Víno extrémně předražené - nejlevněší kolem 1.500,-- Kč na naše (samozřejmě něšlo pít). Nejobyčejnější Moët stál 4.000,-- Kč na naše (v Makru lze koupit za 600,-- Kč bez daně).

ラグーンプールヴィラに4泊しました。オープンして3年にしてはイメージよりも古びた感じはありましたが、のんびりするには最高だと思います。
