We recently spent one night at the Best Western Porto Antico and was very happy. The hotel let us keep our bicycles in the back hall. The bed was very comfortable and the location was superb. The staff was friendly and spoke English very well. The street the hotel is located on is very cosy. The hotel is listed here as two stars, but it is a three star hotel. Breakfast was good with a nice buffet, where you could boil yourself an egg or make some toast, or choose between a variety of pastries, yoghurts and rolls with cheese and meat. Regards Gitte

This hotel is tall (8 floors) and slender (handful of rooms per floor). Reasonable price for the area, a stone's throw from the seafront, it's clean, modern and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast is usual continental buffet style and both the breakfast room and the single lift struggle to cope when busy. There is no bar and no lounge to speak of. I and a friend were there for a weekend to see an Alvin Lee concert and the hotel was just right for us.

We booked for one night after completeing a cruise. We arrived at approx 1000 am and got our room straight away. The room was clean and tidy. The reception staff while under pressure from other arrials were very helpful and gave us some advice about exploring Genoa. Breakfast had a good selection of food. All in all I was pleased with the hotel and service.

Prima hotel als tussen-stop voordat de boot vertrekt. Vriendelijk personeel, ruime ontvangst hal en een schone kamer. Het hotel is honderd meter van de haven en een paar honderd meter van de vertrek pier gelegen. Jammer dat het raam uitzicht had op een muur maar voor ons was een hotel dicht bij de haven belangrijker, gezien de boot vroeg vertrok. Prima ontbijt mogelijkheden wanneer de boot vroeg vertrekt. Het hotel is gelegen in een Indiase wijk met gezellige restaurantjes en winkeltjes.
