Gallery Lodge - كاسيلوف

Our stay was GREAT.. Dot is a wonderful hostess. The facility is quite simply the most beautiful Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in. We will most certainly revisit the Gallery Lodge on our next trip to the area.

My daughter and I spent the night in Gallery Lodge and what a wonderful experience we had, we can't wait to go back!! The lodge is located overlooking the Kasilof River with an amazing view. Our room was clean and comfortable with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot, satellite tv, and dvd player. We had access to the kitchen in the main lodge that was fully stocked. Although we stayed in one of the pottery rooms with a shared bath we still felt that we had privacy. Dot was a most gracious host and made us feel like family from the moment we pulled up. I highly recommend Gallery Lodge!!

The owner was very helpful, and delightful, the breakfast was great. Fun atmosphere but $25 for each extra person, and a 3 lb. puppy. That was a little much. We had no money left to buy any of the local extras in the shop. The room was beautiful, and large. The shower was an extra large head, and warm.

We had full access to the large kitchen/conference size dining area .The kitchen was adequately stocked with food to cook your own breakfast,have a snack etc.Our room included a microwave and refrigerator as well. There were no other occupants at the lodge so access to the shared bathroom was not a concern as we had anticipated it might have been.The view from the back of the lodge is a breath taking awesome view of the Kasilof River. And for those who have never been to Alaska, the river is actually a turquoise color as a result of the glacier that feeds it. Wow was that beautiful. Saw a female moose and her calf who remained on the property for picture taking and behavioral observation- for nearly an hour! Give this property and it's owner 5 stars.

This beautiful B&B, located above the river has very generous and clean rooms. Everything is modern and quite new. A full equipped kitchen and sufficient food in the freezer are available to help yourself to cook your own breakfast.
