Service at front desk was prompt and polite. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was excellent as was the service. Great value for the money. Highly recommend.

A wee bit out from downtown Victoria, but hotel is comfy, bar is good, food is good and the facilities in the hotel are good. Nice thing about where the hotel is, we explored the area around us a were pleasantly surprised with what we found in the area.I would stay again, no question. The only negative (and why I gave them a 3) is the check-in desk. They only have one person so if there is a line up, like when we first arrived, you stand in line and wait.

Our initial contact was with the front desk and the gentleman in attendance gave us great service. However, the advertising and the posting of signage indicating that there was a "pub and spa" was misleading. I chose the hotel because of the spa, which we found to have been converted to a boardroom. The advertising also included that there were bath tubs. The rooms we had only had showers and we were told we would have had to have requested a bath tub. Our air conditioning did not work - in the high heat of the outside our room continually registered 26 degrees and although we called for the maintainance man it remained 26 for two days, until we requested a second room which was so frigidly cold that we had to turn off the ac. The filthy and rumpled carpets which were being replaced according to a posted notice, were unfortunate. We were highly dissatisfied and were given a free night elsewhere, however it was a very poor experience.

Beautiful property! As soon as they get the carpet replaced it will be phenomenal! Loved the options on property with the outdoor patio and the room was elegant and comfortable! Absolute steal for the price we got it for on hotels.com!!

The overall hotel was nice, and granted there were signs indicating the ongoing upgrading of the hallway carpet, there were a few minor things that could have been done to really bring this hotel up over the top. As a quick example, when u have the bathroom sink on a countertop with exposed plumbing, make the plumbing match the paint of the room, in this case, white, not the black PVC that was exposed. Better yet would have been to use chromed brass, but that's just me.

It was not really in Victoria, not easy to find and did not look like a Sheraton. The room looked more like a summer retreat cabin. However it was comfortable and had a nice pool. Service was good. The room was clean but not impressive.

Good Hotel in excellent condition, good rooms. We stayed a family of Seven in two rooms. Shopping centre nearby and close to main highway which takes you straight into Victoria Inner harbour or straight to Nanaimo. Recommended, decent dinner at the restaurant, child friendly even if it is in a sports bar setting. We had dinner on Friday night and it was quiet. Has a pool which we unfortunately didn't try, apparently Wednesday's offer a free BBQ and beer? Free coffee in the lobby in the morning.

Only 15 minutes from downtown Victoria and the rooms were much cheaper compared to downtown and there is plenty of free parking. The restaurant food was very good. We had our breakfast, before we headed out for the day.

The staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

Appreciated having a restaurant on site, as well as the fitness room. Room was well appointed, clean and close to Victoria General Hospital & general shopping. Staff very helpful.

we had a beautiful view from our window and liked the location near shopping; we didn't like the pool area - no place to sit, and no towels - when the towels were brought, they dumped a pile on the stand and the whole pile fell onto the wet floor - swimming pool was too warm; carpeting in common areas is in need of repair; room ventilation was very noisy

Our only complaint was that this hotel was listed as a "Hotel Partner" for the Victoria Goddess Half Marathon but none of the staff were aware of the event. Other than that the staff were extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. Since the run's events wouldn't be over until after noon, there was no problem letting us have a late check-out time. We were then able to come back to the hotel, relieve our muscles in the hot tub and then go back to our room to shower before leaving. The hotel also shuttled us to and from the run. It made our event less stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving and finding parking! THANK YOU!!!

Really enjoyed the stay. Its location in Langford and close proximity to the highway made this an ideal spot for my daily travels upt Mill Bay and back. Also close enought o Victoria and easy access to airport. Everything I needed.

A great hotel that was affordable and comfortable at the same time. We were close to many amenities and favorite sights. Would recommend to anyone!

there for the Royal Victoria Marathon, if I had known rm 114 was right above the pub I would have asked for another room. People out in the parking lot for a smoke or whatever partying not real great for paying customers to be kept up all night.

Very nice location: neat, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was nice with a reasonable view. Resturant was also quite enjoyable with good food and great staff.

Everything nice but crappy carpet in room.

We have a poor experience when we tried to check in early, (12:30) the girl at the front desk was very ill tempered and sent us away until 3PM. The girl at the desk checking out the next morning at 9AM was very nice.

The hotel shuttle failed to pick us up at 10 PM at night at the bus station so we had to get a cab back. My girlfriend got Scabies there so it made for a bad experience. These hotels have to get rid of this problem. It is terrible.

This hotel is in the city of Langford which is in the Victoria metropolitan area, but nowhere near the city centre. Make sure you have a car if you plan to stay here. The service was great, and the people were friendly enough. The pub downstairs is pretty good too. The room was clean which is very important because I'm pretty particular about that. The furniture, such as the bed, mattress, and desk looked relatively new, but the desk chair and the sofa chair were really worn out and kind of gross, so I didn't really have anywhere to sit apart from the bed. Looking back, that's really the only bad thing I can think of.

Rooms were very spacious and comfy. The pub was freindly and the service throughout the hotel was great. A bit far away from Victoria proper, but close to other amenities.

Hotel was very comfortable. Reception desk staff were very helpful at recommending places to eat, shortcuts etc. Only problem was the hotel's single restaurant. It's a bar/grill. Food was good but was understaffed and not really the kind of decor/environment I would have preferred in a nice hotel.

This hotel is well located in a nice part of town. Easy access off of HWY1. Very business traveler friendly.
