STOWE CABINS IN THE WOODS - ستو

Very nice staff, given coffee from personal stash as is not provided. Issue with heater resolved immediately. Do not try to have 2 adults or even an adult and child sleep on living room futon, too small. Pleased with accommodations and service.

Cabins are quietly located in the forest away from the main road. We rented cabin #7 with 4 persons. The cabin was very clean, with a nice bath room and well-equipped kitchen. Great location if you want to go away for a ski-weekend. One of our members got sick and the owner nicely let us stay till 1PM instead of the normal check-out time at 11AM. Minor comment: we only found one thin blanket for the sleeping couch

Just came back from a ski trip with the family. I must say I was a little apprehensive at first (first time skiing anywhere), but was pleasantly suprised with the cabin. We stayed at cabin #3; my wife and children ages 20, 15,and 12. It had two rooms (double bed and bunks) and a futon at the living/dining room. The bathroom and kitchen round it out. It is small for five (no place for luggage, for example). But that is the only drawback. It was very clean and complete. All hotel-like comforts were supplied. Kitchen was complete (except for food!!). Heater worked perfectly (even the one night with -15 deg F). There is no maid service, but clean linens and towels are available upon request. Ample parking (you park right at your cabin). Snowshoes and sleds available free for guests. Beautiful setting with plenty of outdoor space. Very friendly service. Cabin is close to three ski resorts (we went to Bolton Valley..awesome), shopping, dining, sightseeing, interstate. 5 minutes from Ben and Jerry's..enough said. I definitely recommend it!!!!

It was o.k. The cabin was dark the lighting could have been better. And definetly could have used a dehumidifier , and a fan. Very economical for us.

Really nice cabin although very dark inside because of all the nearby trees.

If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. It's not a Hotel Room so don't expect that kind of service. If you like taking care ofd yourself and cooking look no further. We had a great time and were comfortable.

our room was the best they had and it was great. very roomy. although the jaquzzi tub left a liitle to be desired. ran out of hot water and the jets were not very powerful. but the rest of the room was great. didn't really see the owners. not real friendly but ok. love waterbury and stowe. we go there every year.
