Casa De Las Columnas - ماردة

Casa de Columnas is a charming hotel. The staff were professional, available instantly to help me or answer questions, and very personable. My room was also charming. The garden patio and pool area were tranquil. I would note that this is the complete Mexican experience, which includes the crowing rooster next door. And you do have quite a walk to get to good restaurants.

This hotel is the reason why I included Merida in my road trip in the Yucatan peninsula. It is one the loveliest and most charming hotels I have stayed in. And, at an unbeatable price. The welcoming staff, the court yard with the pool and the very well decorated rooms, it was perfect! the only regret I have is that I could not stay longer. Parking is available as well.

This is a beautiful old colonial home converted to a hotel. The cental ground floor area includes the breakfast serving area, a small unroofed pool and a garden. it is very pleasant sitting in this area. My room was large and clean as was the hotel. Hotel staff speak English. It is a fifteen minute walk to Independance Plaza and plenty of restaurants. It is safe to walk in Merida though both bus and taxis are available. The central bus station, CAXA, is not within walking distance with luggage but it is a short taxi ride which the hotel will arrange.

Hotel Casa De Las Columnas was a wonderful place to stay. They were very welcoming, and were extremely helpful when we needed assistance. It is a relatively small hotel, so that makes it much more personable. It is a family run hotel, and families in Mexico are extremely close and loving, this certainly comes across in their consistent consideration of guests. They sure know how to whip up a wonderful "huevos rancheros"... and the fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, is the best. Our room was wonderfully clean, and we had fresh towels, and sheets as needed.... you could eat off the floors, they are so clean. Their attention to detail was more than expected, and we certainly appreciated their hospitality. Every morning, we woke up to bird song, and the warm refreshing breeze in the Yucatan..... the courtyard is exquisate! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Wow! We ALWAYS felt safe, both within the Hotel, and out on the streets, we were there for the Carnival, and we walked alot, as well as using taxi services.We would highly recommend this hotel.... Casa de las Columnas was one of several hotels that I stayed in while in Merida. I purposely sampled various hotels for economy and ambience. My room at Columnas was a joy to return to each day! In other words, it satisfied my AMBIENCE need - 20 ft ceilings, beautiful antique furniture, nicely done spacious bathroom. Lovely antiques also adorned the lobby and entrance hall. Additionally, the courtyard, with seating areas, dipping pool, and breakfast area were very pleasant (continental breakfast served). Very clean with very accomodating and friendly staff.

Cozy and family business style hotel where you can have relaxation after walking around Merida. All staff giving you always the answers you needed, and well informed about what to do in town.

This hotel has everything you need. Great staff and great decoration. You can also talk to the owners at any time and ask for anything... they will do their best to help you out. Our room was nicely decorated and it reminded me to the Driskill in Austin, TX. Don't hesitate to stay here

Casa de las Columnas is a great hotel in central Merida. My sister and I stayed there for five days recently and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new, so everything is in great condition. It is cozy and comfortable and close to the city center and all it has to offer. Our room was very well taken care of, and a nice place to stay. The hotel has a nice, clean swimming pool with a pretty fountain falling into it which is perfect for a swim after a morning out in the Merida sun. The breakfast area is outdoors with a view to the pool and a cool place to start your day. Service at Casa de las Columnas was really friendly, everyone was ready to help with anything we needed and to give advice about what we should see and how we should go about doing all the touristy stuff. We had an extremely pleasant and relaxing stay thanks to the beauty of the hotel and the wonderful people who work there.

가구도 오래됐지만 나름 정감이 가는 곳이에요. 엔틱풍가구도 맘에 들고..오래되서 문도 삐꺽거려요. 침대가 낡은것이 흠이구요.(매트리스는 괜찮은데 뒤척일때소리가 많이남).에어컨이 새거라서 냄새도 안나구좋아요.아침은 콘프레이크,빵,과일인데 부족해서 오믈렛도 시켜먹었어요. 제일큰 단점은 소깔로에서 멀어요. 광장에서 택시도 잘 안잡히구요. 메리다는 모기가 좀 많더라구요. 그래도 예쁜 정원땜에 참을 수 있었답니다.버스터미널은 가까워요. 마트도 바로 옆에 있어요(소깔로반대편방향)

Das Hotel war sehr schön, alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett, immer wieder gern, nur eine kleinere Auswahl vom Frühstück und die Duschen waren lauwarm.

Beautiful hotel with lovely antique furniture and individually decorated rooms. Helpful and friendly staff, that helped us make reservations for a day trip to Uxmal and buy bus tickets for our trip back to Cancún. The continental breakfast included in the price for the hotel room was excellent - fresh fruit, sweet buns, freshly made orange juice, milk with cereals, tea and coffee. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The hotel also has a lovely little pool, perfect to be able to cool down after a hot day on the town. The only drawbacks are beds that are somewhat hard (although this seems to be common in Mexico), towels were raggedy and it's located 1,5-2 km from the city centre. On the other hand taxi fares are very low, so whenever we were heading out we caught a taxi. This was only due to that faxct that I'm pregnant, for normal walkers the distance should pose no problem.

ホテルはコロニアル風で趣味がよく、プールも付いていて、部屋も庭もとても感じがよく調度にも拘りが感じられる。熱いお湯もでるし空調完備の他に扇風機もある。朝もコンチネンタルといいながら、フレークスや果物まででてサービスがよい。ウシュマルのツアーなどもフロントで申し込める。なによりオーナー夫婦が良い方で、セントロに送ってくれたり親切だ。歩いて３分ほどのところにスーパーもあり買い物にも便利。セントロからは多少離れているが静かで、すぐ前にバスが止まるし不便は感じなかった。地元メキシコ人が多く利用していたようだ。是非、おすすめです。

Tres bonne adresse pour ceux qui veulent dormir dans Mérida (ville qui a malheureusement perdu de son charme, bruyante ...). Charmant petit hotel de type maison coloniale avec cour intérieure dotée d'une charmante petite piscine appréciée après une journée de route ou de visite. A environ 10 min. de marche de la place centrale. Responsables de l'hotel très accueillants A recommander.

Incantevole hotel, luogo ideale dove trascorrere una vacanza in pieno relax.Struttura pulita, camere ampie e cura dei minimi particolari.Il personale veramente cortese ed ospitale.Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.Ci ritornerei subito!!!!
