Wonderful, family-run, thirteen room hotel, Beautiful, comfortable rooms, Good European breakfast in a picture perfect tiny breakfast room. Parking not free and not on site, but close by, buses 20 min. into the old city with stops nearby. Owner and family very helpful and eager to please. Enjoyed our stay and would go back.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms looked new and modern and the bed was comfy, bathroom new and clean. It was priced perfectly for that overnight stay we needed to catch the early morning flight... but here's the issue. For a hotel that will primarily get people wanting to stay to catch a flight the next day, they should offer complimentary shuttle service to the airport. They told us there was a shuttle, which in the US usually means complimentary when they are close to an airport, but they charged us for it! Also - our flight was very early - prior to the start of their shuttle service and the taxi charge to go the 3km to the airport was 20 euro so you may want to take that into consideration in your budgeting.

Minimal confort and quite noisy with airplanes and neighbors, during the day and evening. Wireless internet signal very weak so that there was no reception on the iPad. Breakfast very ordinary, except for the coffee machine. Transport to the airport very convenient. Excellent restaurant in the neighborhood recommended by the receptionist.

Close to the airport.

First of all the front desk lady Melissa was not helpful, she was very rude. We stayed here for a night because we thought this hotel was close to the airport but we ended up paying more than 14 euros to be transported to the airport. The condition and maintenance of the hotel is horrible. The water was cold, the bed was uncomfortable, they had old towels and the heater didn't work. The breakfast consisted of milk and old cereal. I expected a better service for the price paid. Very dissatisfied with my experience.

this was my 4th stay over the last 3 years and the quality of the hotel has decreased.....the free wifi computer in the lobby was gone...wifi in the room was limited and the room door had to remain open to maintain a connection.. the bed was uncomfortable... breakfast was free but the quality has decreased...only the night staff and housekeeper had a nice attitude

This hotel is in a neighborhood close to the airport which means you get to hear the planes right overhead. The decor is right out of the '60s. The staff were nice, but I would not use this hotel again.

It was a good stay. We enjoyed the local flavor.

The information on Hotels.com website does not, in any way, represent this hotel. There is no bar/lounge. The common area for wi-fi is the lobby which is a 10x12 room with the recepionist's desk and a sagging love seat. There are no restaurants near by. It is a residential neighborhood with no sidewalks. If you don't have a car you are stuck and can't get food for the kitchenette. The "shuttle" is simply a taxi. It was 40 degrees F and we had no heat. We did not stay, could not get a refund from hotel or Hotels.com.

Wifi was pathetic, no signal in my room, and horribly slow standing outside. The guy at the reception was kind enough to let us use a computer to check-in and print my boarding pass, but forget about using Wifi in your room. Hot water ran out half way during the shower, had to bathe in cold water. Room had AC but no heating. Room has no phone, had to walk down every time to talk to reception staff. Only positive factors - clean room, comfortable bed, helpful guy at front desk. Stay here only if it is just for one night to catch a flight out of FCO airport and if you get a good rate.

Shuttle service from airport was at 4pm only could not wait all day so took a cab which cost 20 euro even though it was only 5 mins away. The phone in the room was not working & there was no money exchange. Location was very inconvenient & amenities were none.

The Inn was nice. I'd probably stay here again if I had an early flight out of FCO. My only complaint is the WiFi didn't work in my room and we were directly over the office in room 14. So, while it wasn't awful to have to sit outside or in the lobby, it just would have been better in the comfort of my room. They have an elevator. Breakfast is simple stuff. The shuttle to/from the airport is 6 Euro per person which is a little cheaper than a taxi (15Euro) but it only picks up at the airport after 4pm. And to save you time, you get taxis into Fiumicino right outside terminal 2 in front of Parking lot D (you have to cross the road and go to the parking lot). The other taxis only want to take people to Rome. The sea is about a 2km walk from the hotel and there is a fruit market and pizzeria at the end of the street. I'd recommend the little pizzeria, Pizza A Taglio. They were so nice! They gave our toddler stuff we didnt order and they really tried to help us out. It was also very affordable. One note, take mosquito repellent!!! I got 12, no exaggeration!, mosquito bites on my ankles (my only exposed skin) within 30 minutes of being in Fiumicino. They're everywhere!! Also, nothing is open in the area on Sunday. Seriously, nothing but some pizzerias if it's the right time. So just a little thing to remember-- also, taxis tried to charge 20 euro to/from the airport because it was Sunday. Hope this review helps!

We got into Rome very late the night we stayed here but thankfully they had a night staff who was very welcome. The breakfast was simple but still yummy in the Italian way. The only issue was the shuttle bus to the airport was very late. Thank God we didnt have an early flight out.

One taxi ride away (15-18 Euro), so it is convenient. Hotel has no frill. Basically one night place near the air port. But polite front desk people. No restaurant around except one Pizza place which happened to offer fantastic pizza !

We chose this hotel to be close to the airport. Took a Taxi to hotel and then found out that the the shutle "Hotel Shuttle" van went to the hotel. We used the shuttle back to the airport and it was less than half what the taxi cost. Their are limited restaurant choices in the area but we were able to find a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Room was fine nothing special.

Great location for airport. Set in residential area. Quiet. Clean, good shower. Excellent Italian corner store, 5 mins - made me an amazing sandwich. 6 euro shuttle to airport. BreAkfast good enough.

There were four of us...in one room as we requested....four beds, perfectly comfortable....excellent breakfast.....pleasant staff.....Only improvement I would like would be that the key to the door would work easily...it was difficult to open! : ( I would stay there again for convenience. We stayed only the one night before our flight, and their shuttle was also very convenient and inexpensive!

our room was nice, but the location was very hard to find. if you do not have a rental car be prepared to pay for shuttle or taxi.

This was a very nice place to rest our heads to catch an early flight the next morning. The room was on par with most places in Italy and was very clean. It is located about 5km away from the airport, but in an actual residential neighborhood. Very nice, kids playing outside, no signs of trouble. Keep in mind, this hotel is in Fiumicino, NOT ROME, leading to my next statements. I know this shouldn't have much bearing on the rating, but the TV was probably 10" and didn't have a single English speaking channel. I only mention this because, as stated before, we were staying the night before taking a flight. There isn't much to do in the local neighborhood after dinnertime (the local restaurant was incredible, BTW), and the WiFi didn't work in the room we were staying in, which made it difficult to kill time.

A simple, clean, no-frills hotel in a residential neighborhood that is very convenient to Fiumicino airport. Free parking was a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful and there were a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Clean, friendly. No restaurants near. Take shuttle or ask Taxi driver for the rate. We paid 10 euro but others on the same day paid 30 (15/person) for maybe a 8-10 minute drive.

This hotel did great in a pinch. Sizeable and clean room close to the airport made my night's stay easy and worry free.

The room was very simply decorated and came equipped with a kitchen. We used it to cook dinner and everything worked well. The hotel staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel location was great for an early morning flight departure.

Rented a triple to catch an earloy flight. Two couldn't find. I did. They ended up at Marriott. It is eficirncies in an apartment building in a res. neighborhood. The one man staff got me a good breakfast and on a shuttle for my flight. It served it's purpose.

This is a great little hotel for an overnight before leaving FCO Airport. I would eat before you get there because there was a pizza place at the end of the street (which by the way, was inexpensive and very good) but nothing else. If you need an airport shuttle from the airport, you need to call ahead. It is 6 Euro but well worth it . The staff is excellent and the continental breakfast was very good. It is a gated hotel, so we felt very safe.

The room we had was extremely dated, neighborhood was run down and dirty. Their idea of breakfast included was pathetic. The only good part of this stay was that it is within minutes of the Fumicino airport. The third party shuttle service ( arranged by front desk) was reasonably priced and on time.

It was close to the airport. Clean and safe.

We stayed one night. The door handle in one room was broken, staff knew about it and had tried unsuccessfully to fix it before our arrival but did not attempt to fix after we mentioned it was broken and unsafe. Other room had food crumbs in the bed. It was 5 minutes from the airport which was great for the time we spent there.

Hotel was clean and close to the airport. It was a little noisy with outside sounds from the courtyard and neighborhood, especially when planes flew over. Not all of the lights worked. The bed for the third person is a pullout couch. But it was fine. Wonderful restaurant close by called something like the black sheep. Good food and wine and very affordable.

The hotel was close to the airport, therefore convenient. Staff were welcoming and helpful. However the breakfast was a little basic, with no refills for products that were getting used up, even when we went in earlier in the time slot given. The coffee dispenser was great. Fresh fruit too. No water in the room or fridge, you have to buy bottles of water from reception at1 Euro for a small bottle.

Fairly basic but comfortable family room for an overnight stay prior to connecting with our flight home. The breakfast can be described as basic at best, but at least there is a shuttle bus that can take you to the airpoty the next morning for €6.50 a person. No restaurant on site, but there is a decent litle restaurant only 5 mins walk away.

It was great! The room is very nice and the building itself is very nice too. I only stayed for 8 hours between flights but I really loved it. Very clean, very close to the airport only 8 euros by taxi and 5 minutes drivimg. Nice A/C, beautiful balcony, perfect for my stay. Thank you!

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a shuttle. After the surprisingly expensive cab ride to get there and the even more expensive shuttle for three of us to get back to the airport the next morning, I wish I had sprung for a more expensive hotel closer to the airport. Our room was run down and we were told the beach was one kilometer away. We must have gone in the wrong direction or something because there's no way it was one kilometer. The restaurants looked sketchy so we ended up buying fruit and veggies from a local stand and eating that in our room. The breakfast was the only bright spark, and they did open it early for us. This wasn't the best way to end our otherwise fantastic trip.

Nice little hotel, a long walk to the local beach, quick drive to airport

Be ready to spend 30-40 Euros by taxi(the more reasonable white colored ones) to get here from FCO, just a few km. from the airport, as the hotel has ONE transfer to there at 3:45PM. "I" took a bus from near Terminal 3 (less than 2 Euros)and had quite an adventure as the drivers didn't know which bus to take or where this place was. There are roadside ads but no qualifiers(e.g "2 blocks away on right"). Getting off the bus the locals didn't know where it was either, though it turned out to be a 2 blocks away from a roadside ad THERE(and I WAS asking in Italian).The desk suggested the area/streets is new...The only other points is that the rooms are not resistant to sound coming from the walkway outside, so late arriving guests may wake you. Also, the clerk collected a 2 Euro "city tax" upon departure(at 4 am). Overall, if the hotel does not improve it's access to transfers, one may want to consider applying the 60-80 Euros for taxis to an airport hotel on site or one that has a shuttle.

Room was large, bed comfy, staff pleasant. A five minute ride from airport. Shuttle was on time for the 6 a.m. pick-up. Took a cab to the hotel after dropping off rental and it was less than 10 euros. Ate at two restaurants in neighborhood -highly recommend le Pecora Nera.

Great hotel, location close to the airport, a few shops and a nice restaurant . A good breakfast included, huge rooms with very comfortable beds.. Only issue was a bit of noise from the above room and the people coming and going with roller suitcases on the tiles. To be expected I guess with an airport hotel but still a little disruptive while trying to get some sleep.

A very comfortable room, clean and with all the facilities, though a couple of things in the (otherwise very clean and modern) bathroom needed mending. Comfortable bed, air con, and free wi-fi greatly appreciated. An EXCELLENT restaurant within 4 mins walk for a superb late evening meal. You're under the flight path to Da Vinci airport but the noise doesn't disturb you in your room. Very convenient, excellent helpful staff, and I would stay here again before flying out of Rome.
