This place was a great find! The water slide in the pool, indoor mini golf and indoor basketball made for a great weekend when it was yucky out! We will be back!

We stay everytime we visit Hershey park. Excellent hotel we are very happy and wouldnt stay anywhere else.

Was a great retreat for after a long days work. Very easy to get to.

Eventhough they could use more people at the front desk, they were very polite, rooms are very spacious and clean. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot!

great stay as always, staff was outstanding, grandkids loved the pool , golf and basketball, would recomend this hotel to all

I was not impressed with this hotel. Hotel apperance was run-down and seemed unclean. Free breakfast had very few options.I would not stay here again.

Disregard bad reviews about pool chemicals. The water slide is so much fun my kids wanted to stay for hours - obviously if you spend a couple of hours in any chlorinated water it will affect your hair, skin and clothes. As it was my kids stayed in for 2 hours with no ill effect. Pool was clean, warm and well maintained. Just don't let your kids stay in forever- just common sense. Pool alone makes this place great value. Otherwise the room was spacious and clean, with big comfy beds. Only negative was breakfast. A big rudely worded sign at the entrance forbids guests from taking breakfast back to their rooms - problem is, there are only 8 tables and breakfast is only served for 2 hours (7-9). If you do the math, it's gotta be impossible to feed all the hotel guests in that time and with so few tables. I assume management know this and hope to keep costs down by forbidding you from taking food back to your room.

clean room, large & very comfortable beds, lots of extras (miniputt, basketball, arcade) great in-door pool with water slide, just off highway, close to Hershey for chocolate! Great on-line rate!

Was visiting my granddaughter and kids had fun swimming , mini golfing and game room. Restaurant right beside has the best food. Worth staying at.

Staff helpful, room comfortable, facilities clean

We have several complaints. The gentleman at the front desk tried to get us to sign a paper stating that we knew what the rate we paid was. Duh?There was no price listed on it, so we refused to sign the paper. I have never had that requested before anywhere. It was not even a deliberate tear-off sheet, he just laid a ruler on top of it and tore it off & told me to sign it. The printed hotel directory inside the room was a sloppy piece of junk on colored paper. They need to print one professionally. The TV channel listing sheet was missing half of the stations and it said to refer to the TV guide channel. We could not find that on the TV, so we had to scroll around until we found the station we look for. How hard would it be for them to simply print the other stations and make it easier for the guests? This place needs some polishing up.

Very impressed with the quality for the price. Definitely a bargin. They could update and/or expand their fitness room a bit.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. They make you sign papers on check in stating you only get one warning if you make too much noise, after that they ask you to leave. Not a bad idea to keep people in check. Pool area ok. Water was very cold. Myself and a number of other guests asked them to raise the temp but over the two days we stayed it never got warmer. Basic breakfast was acceptable. Nothing fancy. 10 minute drive to Hershey. I would stay there again.

First Impressions are important, and I guess mine ruined the stay. Upon arival, their was not a surface in the room that didn't have crumbs on it. The kitchenette counter, coffee table, even the TV table and nightstand. First time in my 50 years that I haven't left a tip for the cleaning staff. Its a shame, as this little thing took too much away from what is the best amenities I've seen in motel for parents: pool, indoor mini golf and Basketball and full game room for the kids. Like a mini vacation for parents. The 'breakfast' was a bit of a disappointment as it wasn't really more than a continental breakfast.

Perfectly fine place to stay.

This was our 3rd time staying at Mainstay Suites. The hotel is really a good bargain for the money. Checking in was quick and easy. Some nice amenities for the kids such as mini golf, pool with slide, and basketball net. Their breakfast is not really that great, but it is complimentary. Also complimentary popcorn, internet access, and coffee. The room was clean and spacious enough. Definitely will stay here again.

My husband and i was happy with the hotel and like the kitchen area.

This was my first stay but it won't be my last. Loved the kitchenette and the room layout, especially the bathroom not right off the front door.

Huge room, great amenities and customer service

Hotel staff was not business like at all. Staff was dressed in shorts and tshirts. Spike TV is not appropriate for viewing in the hotel lobby. The breakfast was not at all as featured. The colored plackards through out the hotel pictured scrambled eggs, fruit and said something about being the best breakfast. What was served was hard boiled eggs, no fruit, no yogury, not even oatmeal. Foods typically served at a free continental breakfast. The pool was not heated and entirelt too cold for swimming. The mini golf course/basketball areza was not heated either and was too cold to enjoy.

The hotel was gracious enough to let us check in early. On first inspection, the hotel looked nice and clean. The room was a bit small but offered everything we needed. In a few minutes the reality became clear though. The ac didn't work. The beds were uncomfortable. The tub was dirty and stained. Managements attitude was like"it is what it is".

Fair quality for the price. Allowed 4 adults and 2 children to stay in a single room.

Impressed with full size fridge and kitchen. Good, clean, hotel for families with kids for the price. Easy10 min drive from Hershey Park,

Overall the hotel was fine and was close to Hershey Park, Casino, other activities. However their were a few things that i did not care for. 1) i requested a room for 6 adults. The room they said for six adults would have been better suited for 2 or 3. 2) They only served the mediocre breakfast from 7-9 even on Sat. and Sun. when they were full. This created a real fiasco. 3) they did not clean the room during our entire stay or make the beds. The only thing they did was replace towels, and they did not even do that right. I registered 6 adults but they kept leaving towels for 4. Overall the place was nice and I would stay here again however it would not be my first choice.

Nice, helpful staff. Problem with light in Kitchenette and outlet in bathroom. Also smoky smell from room above and too much chlorine in the pool. But these were minor things in an overall excellent experience. I liked the miniature golf - nice touch. The room was in great shape and cozy. Location very close to Hershey. A great breakfast was a welcome surprise - much better than all of the hotels I've been in. Thank you and I look forward to staying with you again in Florida.

The place was very nice although the minature golf was a joke. The staff was great and very helpful and I would definetely stay there again.

Great looking hotel and very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and its ambience was of comfort. The only problem I had with the room was the sofa bed, it wasn't as sturdy as it should be and looked real banged up. But I loved the overall look of the hotel. Give it two thumbs up!!

A good enough place to stay if you're looking for a place to lay your head for the night. However, it won't be long before the place will be trashed. It's obvious the hotel was done on the cheap, many things probably once looked good, but are wearing fast. Big water stain on our carpet, lots of dented, chipped, and worn items, though they looked as though they had been bought recently. Complimentary breakfast was also okay, very crowded due to all the vacationing families. Obvious that this is a party destination for high school and college students - there were warning signs everywhere and the "welcome" packet was a poorly put together detailed review of fines for damaging hotel property.

very nice place, close to park and nice restaurant next door. pull out sofa bed was not comfy though

The hotel was decently clean, the breakfast only has hardboiled eggs, no other kinds. The pool had too much chlorine. One of the front desk boys had no personality and was rude.

It was a wonderful stay, would recomend to all. clean rooms,and bathe that sold me..

Hotel was nice. Location was good if you're going to Hershey. It's about a 10 minute drive to the Hershey park. My only gripe was there was not enough towels in the room and the hotel pool was so cold the kids couldn't swim in it. The mini golf was fun and the basketball court was cool but the pool is a waste of time unless they start heating it. The elevator is kind of sketchy and there is only one, but if you're looking for a cheap suite near Hershey this one will work for a one night stay.

That was the first time staying at MainStay Suites and we were very pleased with the cleanliness and overall service.

This has to be the BEST place I have ever stayed at ! I took 14 Jr.high students and the pool, the mini golf and arcade was an answer to our need for down time before going to bed after a long ride up. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was HUGE and it had a full kitchen! I thought we were in an apartment. The service was wonderful as well as the breakfast! We will use this hotel again!

The hotel was clean and in a nice quiet area. The young man at the front desk was very helpful with directions and local information we needed. Room was clean and spacious. They are very serious about keeping the hotel quiet and being respectful of the other guests. I had to read and sign their policy at check in. Very well managed hotel, would recommend.

Excellent Coffee in the lobby. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The indoor pool had far too much chlorine in it.

Went to Hershey just to get away. We enjoyed the hotel! Recommend to others that travel with small children. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and water slide. This hotel also offered mini golf and was only about a mile from the casino and 6 miles from Chocolate world.
