The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. I booked a standard room with breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Basically, don't plan on having lunch because if you take advantage of breakfast you won't need it! Antipasti that included cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel.

We chose this hotel to get our daily swimming exercise in the huge swimming arena next door and still have easy access to the city centre by train and tram. That worked beautifully and we loved the huge suite rooms that only cost a little extra. Breakfast buffet was busy but very well stocked and the hotel desk was very helpful. Not much to see in the close surrounding, but in Berlin everything is easy to get to by train, tram, subway and bus so that is really not a problem.

I stayed with my wife and adult son (a Berliner) on our first visit to Berlin. We are absolutely thrilled by the contemporary design rooms, the furnishings and above all the classy breakfast! We will stay there again. Hari, NZ

Modern contemporary hotel with all the amenities and helpful staff. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. The sky bar on the 14th floor is great, with large windows giving great views across the city while you relax with a cocktail or a cold beer. A little way from Berlin centre but tram and train right outside the hotel so no problem. On a negative, I occupied a room on the side adjacent to railway track and early trains will disturb your sleep.My advice would to book a room overlooking the courtyard. Nevertheless still a hotel I would recommend to others.

Had wonderful time in this hotel, enjoyed every minute. Excellent rooms, neat, fresh and comfortable. It was freezing cold outside and room felt a bit cool at times, but that was minor issue. Excellent breakfast, best that I've seen in long time (and I travel frequently). Too bad did not have time to use the spa :) Locatiion is a bit out of centre, but hotel is next to tram and S-bahn stops, so you can get anywhere in 10-15 minutes.

Very pleased with this hotel! will stay again once back in Berlin. Great big rooms, modern , great hotel facilities.

Andel's exceed my expectations and was great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only annoyance was a snapping sound from the walls at night. The reception also charged me for a mineral water I did not consume but agreed to refund the amount when I pointed out the error. The proximity to public transport makes up for location which is not ideal. Overall, a great hotel and would absolutely recommend it to anyone going to Berlin.

Train direct from Schonefeld airport across road. Trams to city centre just outside main door, takes less than 10 mins. We are in no doubt we would stay here EVERY visit to Berlin in the future. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast fabulous and staff again helpfull and efficient.

Brilliant hotel - made for the perfect weekend in Berlin. Clean, spacious rooms great decor, huge bathroom! 5 star friendly service, amazing breakfasts (& room service). Perfectly located for getting around Berlin (train station opposite). Wonderful cocktail bar with panoramic view of Berlin and seems that lots of musicians stay here on tour. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Berlin...great value for money.

Great hotel - friendly, courteous and helpful staff; clean, spacious and comfortable room; good variety and quality at the breakfast bar. Surrounding neighborhood doesn't have much going on but that really didn't matter as the hotel is less than a five-minute walk from the S-Bahn which is a short ride away from all major attractions and nearby neighborhoods with more in the way of cafes and eateries. Will definitely stay at andel's again when next in Berlin!

Good location and the free services were great. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room because I was too busy enjoying the great city.

Great location streetcar right in front of the hotel gets you anywhere quick room was large with a great breakfast every morning and the view from the sky bar is a must will stay again when in Berlin

Reasonably central to Berlin, with a great sky bar and mega breakfast, i also recieved a token for a free dinner. The fitness suite is great too with a benefit of a sauna.

We've just left The hotel & would like to highly recommend it. Finding the hotel was easy enough and can be seen from the station, so no hassle there. We arrived from Tegal airport and were at the hotel within 30 minutes. The hotel is very modern looking and looks very funky inside and out. The room was nice and spacious, with really comfy beds, a large shower enclosure and LCD tv and tea/ coffee facilities. I'd highly recommend booking the breakfast too which was varied and really fresh every day. Like I mentioned previously, the hotel is right next to the station and tram stop which makes getting into central Berlin a breeze (not to mention any other tourist site). One final tip is to download the Tripadvisor app before you travel. It works totally offline and will literally take you within feet of any destination using your gps! We used it constantly and saw so much more with it! Any questions just ask! Howard

The decor of the hotel and the rooms were very modern, clean. The service were great with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The breakfast is the best!! The only thing is that location is slightly away from the central areas which requires public transportation. Although public transport is right across the street. Hop on Hop off bus even makes a daily pick up directly from the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely wonderful, staff were very friendly and very helpful, absolutely perfect service. The room was very big (deluxe room), the bed was huge and the bathroom was very comfortable and clean. The location is a bit problematic but trams and trains right outside the hotel make things much easier and it's generally very easy to get along. Great hotel, highly recommended.

This location is absolutely perfect! First, the location is great! Right above an S-Train ring station and along a tram line. Quick train journey into the center, and not a bad trip from Tegel Airport. The hotel itself is very nice and the room is quite comfortable. The shower is quite large for Europe, and the bathroom is enormous (also the TV speaker in the bathroom is quite a nice touch). The breakfast buffet was amazing, and definitely the best we had in Europe. Overall, we would love to stay at Andel's Hotel the next time we visit Berlin.

We have booked two rooms and stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Before we left US, we wrote the hotel several emails, all of them were replied promptly. That really impressed us. After we arrived, our rooms were quiet and very comfortable, and we loved the hotel’s decorations. Above all, the staffs Michael and Sebastian at the concierge desk were the best. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. If we have the opportunity to visit Berlin again, we will definitely stay in this hotel.

This was the third time I'd stayed here since May and once again I was ot disappointed. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and good transport connections via the tram or the S-Bahn. Will definitely be back.

Great room, near by train station, tasty breakfast and reasonable price, all are EXCELLENT, but no neighbors

Very nice place. i really wasn't interested in much of anything on their room service card so I only had breakfast there (which was stocked nicely), and the curtains in my room wouldn't quiiiiiiiiiiite close all the way (so i was forced to use the dreaded eye mask), but I feel very lucky to have found such an overall nice spot for such a price. I'd stay here again for sure... In fact, I probably will just to check out their spa next time I'm in Berlin.

very good hotel.nice breakfast and free internet.although notmany english channels.we were given anot so good room first then changed to a decent one on the fifth floor.hotel on edge of city centre although theres a tram in front of the hotel which gets you to the centre in about 10 mins.big positive was the sky bar.very sophisticated and brilliant view.excellent service from everyone from reception to room service housekeeping. Theres a burger king in front of the hotel and an aldi store behind it so buy any essentials from there like water etc

Clean, new, good breakfast, location is a bit far but Tram and Train stations are just in-front of the door, almost nothing interesting in the surroundings.

Everything was very good about this place, from the comfortable and spacious room to the plentiful breakfast and helpful staff. They let me speak ot them in German without having to insist and answered all my questions about local activities in gat detail. The Sky Bar on the top floor is a great place for a nightcap or two, although a little on the expensive side. All in all, i shall definitely return to this hotel again and again.

Hotel well located to the local train station,which takes you all around Berlin.10 mins to the airport but need to take a bus and train.Hotel services good but needed to ask to change our bed covers.Rooms smaller than we expected and we got upgrade to a executive room.Good assortment at breakfast. To use the sauna we were surprised that you could not ware your swim ware,but as we were told this was the German way. All in all we had a very good relaxing time.

The hotel had god accomodation, efficient services, good restaurant but the mini bar was not working and they could not fix it during my stay and they knew that because they offered free water as a compensation and did not exchange the room. Nevertheless the most important advice for other tourists is to know that the hotel is really far from any Berlin's attractions, you must take a tram, a bus, a taxi or the train to get there.

I stayed 5 days at the hotel and can't think of anything negative to report. The hotel-rooms, lobby, eating areas- were spotless and beautifully appointed. Although it was located a bit outside the center part of Berlin, the tram just outside the front door made a direct trip there every few minutes and there was also a train just across the street so getting everywhere was very easy. The breakfast which was included in the price, was a feast!! I have never seen so much food and so many kinds of food at a breakfast buffet. It was all freshly prepared and very tasty. for those leaving very early, there is a continental breakfast in the lobby beginning at 4AM!! One would expect much higher hotel rates for all this. The rooms were so well insulated that I didn't hear anyone in the hallways or in the adjoining rooms which made for a quiet and restful night's sleep. I got sick while I was there and they arranged for a physician to come to see me at the hotel and then called the room to offer any help - tea, bread, etc. That is unusually thoughtful personal service. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful with a good command of English. I will be returning to this hotel and hope you give it a try.

We enjoyed our stay at the Andel's Berlin Hotel. The staff was accommodating and the breakfast amazing. It is not located to major attractions or a neighborhood you can explore but is across from the transit.

Was a short tram ride away from Brandenburg Tor and the other attractions in that area. The Concierge at the hotel was fabulous. The tram was located right outside the hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Absolutely anything one could possibly want! Great location without being right in the center of things.

A hotel is wonderful with modern designed, provides very good variety of breakfast. Staff is nice and helpful. Though a hotel provides free internet access in room, but very slow and that unable to access at all during my stay.

On the whole this was a good, value for money hotel, the breakfast was very good, decor impressive and connected to the S-bahn and local trams making the journey from the airport incredible easy. The one criticism was that we had booked a double room for our weekend away. We arrived to find a twin room, and when I asked about getting this changed, they had none available - or for the rest of the weekend. Made the weekend definetly less romantic than planned for this birthday weekend away.

If one needs to be located in the eastern part of Berlin, then this hotel is good value for money. It would have a much higher price had it been located in the west or around Friedrich Strasse. The quality and service is high compared to the price. I would like to have free internet access in the room, but they have an hourly/24 hour charge system, that is one of the few negative points I can find. The hotel is located next to the ring S-bahn and the tram outside the hotel goes to Alexander Platz, it takes around 10 minutes. The breakfast is on the better side for hotels in this price range. The rooms are spacious and with modern bathtubs. The area around the hotel is not interesting, you stay at the hotel and you travel somewhere else to wine, dine, do business or whatever you need to do.

Nice large room (deluxe). Area well conected and very convenient for Schipol. However, local area a bit barren. Stains on carpet only downside of room.

Andel's Hotel is in great location in Berlin , train fr Airport go straight to the station right next to the hotel and there are many buses , tram that go through the area . The hotel itself is very big and comfortable with modern look . The room was very spacious and high ceiling with separate walk in wardrobe , lovely big marbled bathroom with separate bath and shower . The room decorations was very modern and lightings excellent . Morning breakfast were breakfast buffet of many different choices which was great and will really fill you up for the whole morning . There were some restaurant , shops around the area . There is a Burger King and Aldi supermarket opposite . Free Gym access at the hotel also Sauna, Steam room and spa are free for guests at hotel but please note that No clothings are permitted in the Saunas which we found out the bad way and there may be nudists walking around in the spa - Germany ways I guess . There is an restaurant , cafe and bar at the hotel . Both Cafe and Bar are at the top of the Hotel with panoramic view of Berlin which is definitely worth the expensive but delicous drinks on offers . I went with my girlfriend and we had an amazing memorable time in Berlin and this hotel was world class an perfect place to unwind after a long day out! Highly Recommened , would stay here again in the future .
