Very helpful staff let us leave our bags at either end of our stay. Bar was nice and all the rooms were great. Right near unten den linden and the central tourist areas. Not so close to the edgy night spots if you want that but we were with our parents so a perfect location.

A Really excellent hotel with very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The facilities are as the central location would suggest and aimed primarily at business users. However the rooms are spacious and very quiet, the lounge and bar are comfortable and the restaurant provides really excellent food and service. Highly recommended all round, with the only downside being a lack of other restaurants in the vicinity.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were friendly and the rooms very comfortable. Greta location for all the Berlin sites.

Clean, adequate room. The mini kitchen is nice, but there are no items that support the use of the kitchen. It is a short walk (5 min) to trains and sights. There is very little of interest directly around the hotel. The area does appear to be safe, but few eateries or bars.

perfectly located, surely one of the safest locations in whole Berlin (right next to the Department of Foreign Affairs!), walking distance to Museumsinsel, Brandenburger Tor, Friedrichstrasse. U-Bahn around the corner. downside: housekeeping under-average for a 4-star-hotel, room cleaning inattentive and careless. Upside: Staff motivated and helpful, friendly and cordially.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel for 2 nights. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room was good size with huge windows and nice, modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend the Arcotel!

The hotel is located close to museum island (one block) and close to two Christmas markets (one right across the street). The 147 bus goes from the Haupbahnhof to the front of the hotel (and gives you a tour of Berlin in the process). The other reviews were very helpful, the Chips restaurant was great for breakfast, but a little too vegetarian for lunch. But it's cheaper and fresher than the hotel breakfast buffet. The elevators are incredibly fast, which makes coming and going a lot more fun. Bring your own shampoo, the hotel lets the liquid soap serve for both bath gel and shampoo. Don't miss the panometer at the Pergamon museum, it is incredible when you see it first before the archaeology finds in the museum.

We had a great stay at Arcotel this past December. With such a helpful staff and fabulous location, it was the perfect hotel for what we needed. We had a comfortable stay in our room, though it would have been nice to have some equipment to use in our kitchinette and some soap or conditioner in the washroom. Overall, the experience was fantastic, highly recommended.

I could not have been more pleased with our stay. Most of the main sights,the Reichstag,Brandenburg Gate,Berliner Dom, TV Tower were easily reachable via a 15 minute walk. The room was very large & modern & housekeeping did a good job keeping it clean. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions and any other assistance we needed. The hotel restaurant was good & continental breakfast was decent enough. I do want to point out the hotel does put a 30 euro per night hold on your credit card upon check in. The hotel offers free internet which came in handy.

This is a great hotel. It was well managed. Its location was excellent to see the many sites in Berlin. It was quiet and clean and the staff was excellent.

From our view on the fifth floor, my wife and I could take in the Berliner Dom and the city’s main attractions – The Museum Island and the market place – were within five to 10 minutes walking. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, staff were friendly and eager to help. They gave us complimentary dessert when they found out we were celebrating our honeymoon. The room was very comfortable with modern furniture and the hotel was modern and stylish. It’s a short cab ride to the city’s main train station and five minutes from the closest subway entrance. We would hands down stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anybody. It’s a great find.

Terrific hotel at a great price. We stayed 2 nights and were very satisfied with all aspects. Nice bar and friendly staff. a 9 euro taxi from main train station. A 5 minute walk to large square with French cathedral and tour busses. I recommend the "Augustina" restaurant on the other side of square for a good German meal with litre mugs of beer. At 20 euro, the hop on/hop off tour bus is a good value and a good way to see as much of the city as you can if you only have a short stay as we did.

This is a thoroughly satisfactory hotel, well maintained and well located in the center of old Berlin (even though I found the JFK-themed decor a bit silly). The room rates are reasonable. The breakfast was a bit pricey, but the nearby Operpalais has an excellent breakfast for less money.

Hotel was excellent. Only issue was bar tender refusing ice! Called down to front desk and ice was delivered..... Staff helpful. Showed us laundromat on map.

This is a business hotel, so it is rather dull. The hotel is located in a good neighborhood, but in a side street surrounded by offices. Definitely not the liveliest location and a bit depressing on Sundays when streets around it are completely empty. I stay in hotels in Berlin frequently and I would not particularly recommend this one. You can find better ones for the same price and in the same area. Now, about hidden charges: In particular I was very unhappy to find that the hotel charged me 40 EUROS for the use of the parking. This additional cost was not mentioned anywhere and no one told me that there was an additional charge for using it when I asked about it. I consider this a complete rip off as a parking oposite the hotel charges a fraction of that. When I complained about this the people at the reception listened politely but did not offer any solutions nor even an apology for failing to advise of the additional charge. This, together with the less-than-optiomal location are enough for me to never think of staying there again.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of major sights, with helpful staff on hand to offer suggestions and arrange whatever is needed. The hotel decor is stylish and modern, with quirky touches like rocking chairs in rooms. Highly recomnmended.

The staff were fantastic nothing too much trouble. A fitness facility/sauna and steam room in the hotel was clean and well equipped with treadmills/ cross trainers and clean towels and fresh apples also supplied in rooms. within walking distance of main sights and restaurants and also the S-Bahn and U Bahn. Opposite one of the many Christmas markets. Recommend this hotel

This hotel gets everything right! It's that simple. Spectacular Service. Super Chic Space (but not pretentious). Brilliant touches of whimsy (the lobby soundscape with bird calls is a delight.) Spacious comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast options. Oh...just book it already! Highly Recommended!!!

Really pleased with this hotel. The price offered was really good for such a high quality hotel. Location was excellent within an easy walk of almost all the major sights in Berlin. Accommodatoon was comforable and rooms were high quality with DVD player in each room. Breakfast wasn't included in room rate but excellent cafe called Chipps round the corner provided better value than the hotels own breakfast.

This hotel was in a very convenient part of the old town in Berlin. Clean and comfortable! Staff was helpful and friendly!

location: perfect! quiet neighbourhood, close to everything on foot, 5 min on foot from alexanderplatz, 2 min from museum island, 10 min from branderburg gate, 5 min from charlie check point. room: spacious, clean, modern, great view. service: excellent.

I stayed for two nights at the Arcotel John F in Berlin on a business trip. I found the interiour very nice and the staff extremely polite and forthcoming. The breakfast was equally nice - one for busy people and one for people who like to dwell over the many dishes available. I definitely enjoyed my room and the design, and found myself in the middle of Berlin in walking distance from everything.

Great location, very friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms. A real bargain!

This hotel is well situated to be near many of Berlin's main attractions. The staff was wonderful and tried hard to make out stay as rewarding as possible. Given how hard it can be to find parking in Berlin, the hotel's parking garage is a bonus. We just parked our car and walked or took the U-Bahn. This hotel is brand-new, clean and spotless. We also enjoyed the sauna/steam room area after long days spent sightseeing. I can fully recommend this hotel to any Berlin visitor.

Every aspect of our stay at the Arcotel was exceptional. The position of the hotel meant getting around Berlin was a breeze. And the bar staff were particularly wonderful - try the martini and russian mule - top notch! Had friends staying in 5 star hotels who were jealous of how fantastic the hotel and the staff were. Lovely JFK rockers as well!

Efter att ha bott på hotellet fem nätter över påsk är jag inte imponerad. Mina förväntningar på rummet och de övriga faciliteter var mycket högre utifrån det relativt höga priset jag fick betala. Jag har bott på betydligt bättre hotell, rent kvalitetsmässigt, till betydligt billigare priser. Trist för ett hotell som på ytan ser kvalitativt och snyggt ut.

Meget dejligt hotel i nærheden af Fehrnsehturm, Dohm, Checkpoint Charlie, Freidrichstrasse. Hotellet er moderne og ligger ekstremt rolig (glem ørepropperne) selvom det ligger i midten. Morgenmad og drinks lidt dyre men kan sagtens findes billigere 5 min væk.

Fint hotel med relativt store værelser. Vi fik king-size seng på trods af vi kun havde bestilt queen size. Hyggelig bar med venligt personale.

Ich war verwundert in einem Hotel zu übernachten, wo man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Eigentlich sehr schade das mein Aufenthalt so kurz war. In diesem Hotel bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Super hôtel! chambre vraiment sympa, belle et propre, service à la réception parfait! toujours aimable et souriant, parlant parfaitement anglais. L’hôtel est idéalement situé! proche de la porte de Brandebourg, de l'île des musées, du checkpoint charlie et d'un métro! nous y sommes allé pour la saint-sylvestre est vraiment on ne regrette pas! cet hôtel est un très bon choix!
