Small bathroom but an excellent location. Great service and friendly staff

I had no idea the hotel and its rooms were that small. Hardly I could move inside the room. The lady at reception charged the full amount without asking me to see the room. She did not pleasant manner, lack of customer service was obvious. Poor English skills, barely could communicate. When asked for a bigger room, she claimed ALL room were booked. The next day, the next room to mine was evacuated, but they still denied to offer me the bigger room, probably wanted to charge the next customer at a higher rate (because I booked mine at a discounted hotels.com rate?). I paid for breakfast (10 euro per day), probably a bit over priced, but good quality and convenient. The location is very good. Close to Eiffel tower and metro and restaurants and supermarket. If you book at this hotel , make sure you look at the room before paying. Overall experience: relatively good.

The review title says it all. I was in London on business and spent the weekend in Paris. Booked this hotel online before my trip because of the price and location. Well, it turns out this is the best kept secret in all of Paris. I will stay here every time. Sure, it's not a high star rated hotel. But for the price and location, you get WAY MORE than what you're paying for.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. We loved being so close to the Eiffel Tower. Perfect location, perfect hotel!

A great spot to stay in if you want to explore Paris. A short walk from the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler, a metro station and a RER station within minutes. Get to know the metro -- it can be your friend. To get to the hotel from CDG, I took the RER St. Michel Notre Dame and transfered to the RER to Pont de l'Alma. Paris metro stations typically have a lot of walking and stairs, especially when transferring lines, so be ready with your luggage. The hotel stairs, elevator, and especially bathroom in the room is tiny -- be forewarned. You'll likely only have enough room in the shower to turn around. That's part of the Parisian charm, I guess. Still, I wouldn't mind staying here again.

It was without doubt one of THE best hotel experiences of my life - I am in my early 60's and well travelled having sampled both the lowest and highest ends of the accommodation star ratings scale over time. My EVERY need was catered for and more! The only slight negative was the size of my single room - the staff apogised in advance for this however but it was clean, modern, centrally heated/airconditioned, beautifully decorated and had all but tea/coffee making facilities (which I found I really didn't need anyway) - and the lift (also very small) which had a predisposal to stopping BETWEEN floors (not very helpful to those somewhat physically challenged - post operative - such as myself). I had no difficulty whatsoever on the other hand obtaining (very obliging) staff assistance with my luggage or information of ANY sort (even when their English wasn't the best - sadly my french is and always has been pretty appalling in spite of strong heritage). The location was equally good - an easy walk to just about everywhere and/or transportation. On reading other reviews I pre arranged door to door mini bus transfers over the net to/from PCDG airport (approx $23AUD each way) - stairs and heavy bags not exactly being 'my thing' at present. I was even more pleased I had done this on arrival as there was a bomb scare (eventually detinated by their official squad) which considerably delayed my exit from the air terminal thus causing my (by then) very late arrival at the hotel. The hotel location and staff assistance helped me to experience Paris not exactly at it's best (being the middle of winter) but at it's true 'heart' in MANY respects. I will be forever grateful and likewise MORE than happy to refer others.

The room is very small, but ok, as we do not stay in the room much. Basically there just to sleep, and out about all day long. Location is great. There's a good Italian restaurant next door, and a great bakery on the left of the street. Love the croissant. Metro is nearby.

Great location especially for the cost. Hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgable about the city. They know what to do and how to get there given a guest's limited time in Paris. The single rooms are very very small, yet comfortable enough to enjoy your stay. If you spend a lot of time in your room, the single rooms may not be for you. The rooms do include a small closet with shelves, a very small desk, room safe, TV, shower room and toilet. Oh, onme other plus, the room was very well heated.

Excellent little hotel, spotlessly clean and helpful staff. Loved the location close to the Tour Eiffel and Invalides but a neighbourhood feel and we found great places for breakfast and supper where we were outnumbered by french so always a good sign. I took my two sons and we were in a triple which did make the room quite small once the sofa bed was out but that is the only negative comment. I would thoroughly recommend.

The hotel is very clean and on a very small side street just 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower. Neighborhood was nice and clean and was recommended by co-workers who live in Paris. Rooms are small and the shower is exceptionally small, but I found that to be true of most of the hotels I stayed at in Paris. The lift (aka eleveator) was also very small and may require multiple trips if you have lots of heavy luggage and end up with a room on an upper floor. Great location, clean and good service. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent boutique hotel, very close to the Eiffel Tower, nice neighborhood, shops, bars, restaurants. Room was very nice, small, but nice and modern.

Really good, clean, friendly hotel. Service was excellent and staff very helpful. Great location. We really enjoyed Paris. Rooms are very small and bathrooms were very tight but does what it says on the tin.

We stayed here recently. We had a triple room and it was tidy with enough space. The main attraction was the close proximity to eiffel tower. This meant we could wander off and we always knew where we are in relation to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood also seemed very safe

A comfortable bed which is my #1 requirement. The shower hook was broke off and not repaired so I didn't get a good shower (my #2 requirement) but it's not the end of the world! Overall a nice, comfortable stay with pleasant staff at a reasonable price. You get what you pay for - all rooms in Paris are small or bijou so if you're a big person, book a franchise hotel not a quaint, privately owned one. It's a 5 minute amble to the park that the Eiffel Tower sits in, you get a great view as you walk into the park and it takes 5 mins from there to walk right to it so a very good location. Nearest Stop is Ecole Militare on Metro for getting about. From Orly or Charles de Gaulle you can get the B line train to central parts and change - cheaper than buses/taxis/shuttles. voila!!!

This hotel was a real discovery. My initial reaction reading reviews others had left was 'oh come on, everyone cant score it this highly!'. Believe me, its a fantastic little boutique hotel, very clean and extremely helpful staff, just like all the other reviews. Great restaurants all around and literally 2 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower. For those who like to be surprised by little hotels, this is certainly one I would highly recommend.

This hotel was better than anything we could have hoped for. The location was central to all the main tourist attractions and yet was set in a side street which was lovely and quiet. a few doors down from the hotel was the most amazing restaurant called Gusto Italiano which I'd also highly recommend. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I really recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Paris. We'll definitely be going back again!

Friendly staff, willing to make it a comfortable stay for you. The only downside of the hotel is the small tiny quarters...very small showers...no wiggle room at all and the elevators are pretty small. enough for one person and a tiny suitcase otherwise clean, comfortable and very convenient.

Wohl kürzlich renoviert, modern und in einer ruhigen Seitengasse gelegen. Auch hier sind die Zimmer klein. Knapp 10minuten bis zur nächsten Metro und gleich am Ende der Strasse gibt's ein tolles Fisch-Restaurant.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado , la atención es buena pero no hablan español , la habitación muy pequeña para una larga estadía.

Hôtel bien tenu dans un secteur calme.

Fin hotel, lille værelse og badeværelse, men pænt og rent. Super beliggenhed lige ved Eiffeltårnet og i gå afstand til mange ting. Hyggelig område hvor man fonemmer, at man virkelig er i centrum. Vi spiste ikke morgenmad på hotellet, der var masser af små, hyggelige caféer lige omkring hotellet

Hotel ligt vlak bij de Eiffeltoren. Met mijn 1,96 meter was het bed en de badkamer veel te klein. Als je kleiner bent, maar niet dik (anders kom je de douche van onze kamer niet in), dan is dit een prima uitvalsbasis. Zeer schoon. Aardig personeel.

Tout était parfait ! Bon petit déjeuner, accueil agréable. Endroit calme, propre, bref... à recommander.

petit hotel au calme pres de la tour eiffel, rénové avec soin et bon goût. l'utilisation des volumes est bien optimisée.

enfin un hotel refait à neuf avec bon goût, propre et cosy pour un prix abordable. je le recommande vivement.

Ett fint hotell med bra läge precis vid Eifel Tornet med många bra restauranger i närheten. Rummen var fräscha och mysiga. Bemötandet av personalen var dock inte den bästa och vi hade problem med låset på vår dörr som tog flera dagar att åtgärda. Sammantaget var det ändå ett angenämt boende!

Hôtel proche de la Tour Eiffel et des Invalides, proche également de tout plein de commerces, très propre et agréable, le seul point négatif serait la taille de la salle de bain (les genoux qui touchent le mur quand on est aux toilettes c'est pas génial) et le gel douche/shampooing qui est fourni qui est de très petite quantité, insuffisante quand on a comme moi et mon ami les cheveux longs... Sinon, aucun problème, je le recommande !

Keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel ( wie Angegeben ) Bettwäsche zerrissen. Keine Auswahl beim Frühstück. Angestellten sprechen nur französich

Das Zimmer (Nr. 3) lag ebenerdig im Hinterhof (Anbau) ohne jede Aussicht. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht anklappen und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Wir ließen das Fenster dann ganz offen, obwohl das unheimlich war, weil man problemlos von außen in das Zimmer hätte einsteigen können. Zudem stand auch noch ein elektrisches Großgerät halb vor dem Fenster, was die ganze Nacht fürchterliche Geräusche von sich gegeben hat. Ein Zimmer mit Aussicht hätte ich natürlich vorgezogen, auch wenn es den Blick nur auf die Seitenstrasse, in der das Hotel liegt, eröffnet hätte. Das Hotel ist sauber. Es gibt täglich frische Handtücher, das Frühstück war ausreichend, der Frühstücksraum sehr nett eingerichtet, die Rezeption war rund um die Uhr besetzt (man spricht deutsch und englisch) . Alles in allem ganz okay. Die Lage ist top. 5min Fußweg zur U-Bahn: Ecole militaire. Der Eifelturm ist in 10min fußläufig erreichbar. In der Nachbarstraße gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants, die eine sehr feine Küche haben.

Dommage, le jour de notre arrivée il y avait des travaux dans la petite cour intéreure, juste devant la porte de notre chambre et sous notre fenêtre (qui servait visiblement de plan de travail aux ouvriers). Premier matin de vacances réveillée à 9h par des ouvriers qui criaient et faisaient beaucoup de bruit (perceuse, marteau...etc), vraiment très très désagréable! Tout le reste était impéccable.

We arrived Saturday morning and got our room straight away. Very good service from the lady in the reception. Location – Location – Location This hotel is only approx 5 min walk from the Eifel Tower. There is a lot of small cafés I the area around. Parking was in the street next to the hotel. Eur 64,- for two nights. An overall very good experience. We will definitely book this hotel next time we are in Paris.

Siisti ja kiva pieni hotelli tosi lähellä Eiffel-tornia. Huoneet juuri uusittu hyvällä maulla. Hissi ja vessa tosi pieni mutta muuten hyvä. Henkilökunta ystävällista! Suosittelen!

Hyggelig hotel i Paris. Morgenmaden var ganske god - værelserne var nyistandsat og hyggelige. Det eneste som jeg manglede var internetadgang - som desværre ikke virkede. Servicen på hotellet var lidt mininal men god. Vil gerne bruge hotellet igen.
