Great place,a very nice local hotel ,good location,2 blocks from the train station,restaurants & shops,clean ,friendly staff ,who answer to any request and make you feel at home

Feels like home away from home with an owner who can help with any request. Clean and centrally located.

everything there is great, only one small suggestion: the room is big and kind of vapidness! maybe some paintings or lights could be added and make the room more home feeling! same to the lobby! Then this hotel will be one of the best!

I was clean, good condition, comfort, and convenience. Price wise is okay. I would stay there again. I would recommend it, however do not expect grate breakfast not many options available, I wish if they improve it, e.g. add different kind of cheese, and add more vegetarian options.

convenient location, easy to find being close to the train and bus stations. Room was a little sparse. Maybe a comfortable chair could be added. Front desk was very helpful and cheerful. An elevator added to the convenience. Our room faced to street but with the windows closed the noise level was greatly reduced. There was no air conditioner and it was very warm and humid in Sept. when we were there so we slept with the windows open. The street noise didn't really bother us which went late into the night.

We will be back.

The hotel didn't have very good insulation bc you could hear everything - doors shutting, staff cleaning and other guests conversations. We were woke up everyday by the noise. Staff is very friendly though. The hotel is not centrally located either, however the best food we ate was near the hotel.

This hotel is really fantastic,and reasonable price.Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay here.Lorena,the owner is a very warm person.I think she is very very nice and accomodating.She always smile.In the same street,you will find quality Italian food restaurants and just 3mins walk is the Roma Central Termini.What a great spot to stay!!!Would be willing to stay here again when we come back!Definitely!!!

Close to Termini station, all bus lines and both metro lines. Walking distance to the Colosseo.

One of the reasons we enjoyed our stay in Rome so much was because of the warm welcoming treatment we received from Loredana and her family. She followed up personally with us via email and provided us with directions to the hotel from the train/metro station which is extremely close. They had our room ready prior to our early morning arrival and were very helpful in getting us settled. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and quiet and the hotel was within walking distance to the metro from where you could get to all of Rome's attractions. Loredana and her family went out of their way to ensure my daughter and I had a very enjoyable stay. The cappucino in the mornings was a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you Loredana, we will definitely come back on our next visit.

Location of Hotel Maryelen is great. Walking distance to the train station. Friendly staff, open all hours. There was a grocery store around the corner, and plenty of restaurants and tourists in the area, so it felt very safe. Room was very clean, well laid out, with modern fixtures. A bargain at twice the price!

We stayed 4 nights in June 2011. The hotel was well located just a couple of streets away from the main train station. There are several restaurants nearby with pavement seating. This is a family run hotel & they made us feel very welcome. We were very pleased that they had our room ready early, despite us arriving around lunch-time. Our room was spacious for a city-centre hotel & overlooked a courtyard garden. There was plenty of choice for the continental breakfast. I don't understand why it was only a 1 star as it was nicer & more welcoming than higher grade hotels we have stayed in.

This hotel is a few minutes away from the termini which makes it so easy for access from the airport and all the popular sites are close enough to nip back for a freshen up, change and head out for the evening. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, with a couple of friendly confirming emails leading up to my stay. The room was much more plush than I had expected. Breakfast was adaquate to get us to lunchtime. I am confused as to the one star rating of this hotel

Utmärkt service med fräscha, välstädade rum och familjär stämning. Litet minus att hissen endast tog 3 personer. Rekommenderas!

Zeer dicht gelegen bij station Termini (trein, bus en metro), maar toch een rustige locatie

Bra läge med gångavstånd till allt, om man tycker att man kan promenera ganska mycket. Trevlig personal. Ganska nedgånget rum, hårda sängar. Rom är ju dyrt, så det var ungefär som vi räknat med. Ändå rel. prisvärt.

...prenoterò di nuovo qui. Sono stati tutti molto accoglienti e cordiali. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo inconveniente e si sono prodigati immediatamente per risolverlo. Grazie a tutti per i tre giorni, mi sono sentito meglio che a casa. BUONAVITA!

Удобное месторасположение, в 3-х минутах от Термини, доброжелательный и отзывчивый персонал, в номерах большие комфортные кровати, правда в душевых тесновато, но это не портит общее впечатление. Завтрак приличный, есть wi-fi на первом этаже в холле. Единственное на. что нужно обратить внимание отдыхающих, если вы приехали в Рим зимой и останавливаетесь в этом отеле, захватите тапочки, так как в номерах пол кафельный и холодный. Летом в Риме жарко и кафель приятно охлаждает уставшие стопы.

El hotel Maryelen está muy bien situado, cerca a la estación Termini que es donde llegan los autobuses desde los aeropuertos y desde donde salen practicamente todas las líneas de autobús y metro más importantes. El personal es muy amable y servicial y dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier duda. El desayuno aunque todos los días es idéntico, es suficiente y hay que hacer una mención especial a la chica que prepara los estupendos cafés y chocolates en el momento. La calefacción en invierno una gozada porque llegar al hotel tiritando y entrar en calor es todo uno. En la habitación hay un minibar que tiene a un precio no excesivo bebidas y que además sirve para guardar alguna cosilla que puedas llevar. Al lado del hotel hay una jardín en el que se encuentra el antiguo acuario de Roma, un edificio que hoy alberga el colegio de arquitectos y que como casi todo en Roma es antiguo y bonito. Yo sin duda si vuelvo a Roma (que volveré) no dudaré en elegir este como mi alojamiento.

Good location Quiet street, close to termini railroad/ bus / metro. Very friendly family run staff. Clean comfortable rooms/ could use a topmadress/ could not find BBC/ CNN ? Has Wifi , but lacks a computer to rent...you can find just 100 m down the street. Only cash payment ??? Breakfast disapointing....only 1 fruit, dry bread, toast cheese ...when such great cheeseoptions ?no salami , only ham? Elavatorshaft dirty. To find great restaurants , go away from the main tourist areas ! CONCLUSION: With the exception of breakfast, this hotel is moneyworth and recomendable !

Hotel Maryelen has recently been upgraded from a B&B to a hotel. Rooms are of good size for Rome and very clean. The staff of this family run hotel was as friendly as can be and very helpful.
