4 stars for the location and the staff, 3 stars for the room. Actually the room itself was ok (I was there 4 nights), it was the location of the room. The place was hard to find because there is no signage (it's on the third floor of an apartment building) however the staff were brilliant. They gave great advise on planning sight seeing and their dinner recommendations were also good although most of them required a 15 mins walk and having been on my feet for 9 hours, that was pushing it. Breakfast was basic but good and it was brought to the room each morning. I had the single room (number 5) which is right at reception so was very noisy with people buzzing the door to the building and everyone chatting at reception but I guess that's why I packed ear plugs. The room itself was clean and comfortable however I do wish these places would realise that travellers don't need cupboards, give us a few shelves, a couple of hooks for coats and somewhere to throw our back and we're happy. I was also woken up the smell of exceptionally strong coffee each morning, to point where I could taste it and was finding it difficult to breathe, not great for someone who can't stand coffee. All in all, I'd stay there again but just not in that room.

this hotel was in a great position, close to railway station and all major attractions. it was clean and in good condition. the management spoke good english and could not do enough for you. overall a great plase to stay in rome

Their service standard was wonderful and outstanding!!! Although the size of the room was not too big but the location was very convenience all the places..... All the staffs there were super friendly and helpful!!!!!

It was on the testimony of the reviews that I chose this hotel for my one night stop - England to Rome and back for my birthday! The proprieter, as promised by the other reviews, was so talented at guiding me to access Rome - he knew what was possible and gave such excellent guidance that even if the bed was a bit hard he made up for all! Just make sure you look for the address number and you will see the hotel on a door buzzer - there's no 'hotel' sign.

The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding - they simply could not be more helpful or enthusiastic. From the moment we arrived ( first thing in the morning, before the previous occupants of our room had even had time to finish breakfast or check out!) they went out of their way to welcome us. They were also full of suggestions of what to see on our visit and the best way of getting there ( including tips about recent temporary disruptions to the metro system), and were even exceptionally helpful at the end of the next day, long after we had technically checked out! The hotel's rooms are fairly basic (this is not a high-end, luxury hotel ) but actually rather lovely - we had polished stone floors and highly decorated ceilings. Very, very clean, with modern bathrooms, fittings, fridges and hairdryers. The Continental breakfast of croissants, pastries, jam, nutella, etc, tea/coffee and juice is served in your room as there is no dining room. It was both delicious and plentiful - pastries utterly fresh, and a decent cup of tea to boot! The hotel is about ten minutes walk ( even with children in tow) from the Colosseum and less than that from the main railway station. There's also a metro station very close by. Rooms at the front can be a little noisy, if that bothers you, but the one we had at the back was very quiet. It is a little tricky to find- you have to know the street number - the street entrance is shared with other establishments, so no big signage outside All in all, a fantastic budget choice - I would be delighted to return, and wouldn't hesitate to re-book.

Cons: Non really. Pros: Good location, outstanding staff and helpful with any issues or questions, best hotel experience I had in my european trip, clean and nice room,

We enjoyed our stay at Auditorium di Mecenate, the staff spoke different languages so was easy to communicate with us, they were very helpful as in marking on a map what we should visit and good affordable places to eat. The rooms were clean adn the breakfast was splentiful and you get to have breakfast in bed every morning. If you looking for a hotel that is clean, on the cheap side and in a good location this is the place for you!

Första natten fick vi ett mindre bra rum, det var nära receptionen så man hörde när folk kom hem sent på kvällen eller när telefonen & port telefonen ringde. Men den fantastiske hotellägaren Fabricio hade redan informerat oss att vi kunde byta rum dagen efter om vi inte trivdes! Sagt och gjort bytte vi rum till ett större och finare samt med utsikt över gatan! Badrummet var helt ok, ett litet minus på deras så kallade "badhandukar", vi upplevde det som en blandning mellan kökshandukar & lakan. Så tips är att ta med sig egna! De städar varje dag så det är alltid fint och fräscht! Vi älskade deras frukost service, det var hur mysigt som helst men själva innehållet är juh vad italiensk frukost har att erbjuda men deras cappucino var "Fantastico"! Läget var bra, nära till Metron, busshållplats, restaurang och  sevärdheter! Bra hotell för lite peng!!

hotellet ligger supercentralt. personalet, der er til stede i døgndrift, er meget hjælpsomme og taler fortrinligt engelsk (de fleste af dem). vi gik til alle vigtige seværdigheder, hvilket man kan hvis man har gode ben. vi gik ca. 17 km pr dag. rent, fredeligt og centralt med morgenmad stort set efter eget ønske og rigelig. vi smurte også madpakker af den serverede morgenmad.

L’hôtel est très bien situé juste a coté d'une station de métro avec tous commerces a proximité. Il est difficile a trouver car il n'y a pas de pancarte "hôtel" fiez vous bien au numéro 44. L’hôtel est très propre et le petit déjeuner au lit super!!! (café, chocolat, viennoiserie, confiture....). Situé au cœur d'un immeuble, nous entendions juste parfois les voisins. Le plus de cet hôtel c'est son personnel, qui est entièrement a votre disposition. Il vous indique les bons plans les bons restos et pour pas cher!!! Même si vous ne parlez par italien il tente par tous les moyens de se faire comprendre. Un grand merci a cette équipe qui nous beaucoup touché

Et veldig koselig opphold. Personalet var kjempehyggelige og veldig på servicesiden. Siden hotellet ikke hadde frokostsal fikk man frokosten servert på rommet etter eget ønske. Var ikke standardfrokost, men rikelig og veldig god. Beliggenhet i forhold til sentrum var perfekt, kun minutter unna det meste. Eneste minus dersom det har noe å si var at det var en støyende gate hele døgnet. Vi drar gjerne tilbake. Topp opphold.

Vaikea löytää, mutta tiedoksi, että sijaitsee 3. kerroksessa (olivat lähettäneet tulo-ohjeet meilillä viikkoa ennen meidän vierailua, mutta ei saatu sitä, koska oltiin jo matkalla, eikä päästy lukemaan sähköpostia. Puhuvat sujuvaa englantia ja muutenkin erittäin palveluhenkistä ja ystävälllistä henkilökuntaa. Huoneissa kaikki tarpeellinen; 2. tuolikin tuotiin pyydettäessä. Aamiaisen kokoonpanossa otettiin asiakkaan toiveet huomioon ja se tuotiin huoneeseen! Antoivat kartan ja hyviä neuvoja liikkua ja shoppailla Roomassa. Metropysäkki lähellä. Erittäin suositeltava paikka, jos ei kaipaa luksusta! Heidän suosittelemansa, aivan lähellä sijaitseva Trattoria "La Forchetta D`oro" on muuten aivan loistava paikka - elämäni paras pizza!

This hotel probably has the best service in Rome! All of the staff that we met were just genuinely nice and helpful with recommending restaurants and what sights to see. When we first arrived there around 12am and asked the receptionist if there are any nice cafes close by she insisted on bringing us breakfast to our room instead. Their breakfast tray consisted of fresh croissants and toast like biscuits with butter, marmalade and Nutella, orange juice and a coffee of choice. The hotel it self is located close to the Vittorio Emanuele metro station and within walking distance from Colosseum and only 5 min to Termini. Our room was very basic but clean. The only negative little thing was the smell in the bathroom - probably something with the pluming since everything looked very clean.

Hôtel placé près de la gare Termini (train et bus), avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. La lioterie est neuve et très confortable. Le petit-déjeuner, copieux, est servi en chambre. Accueil très sympathique.

We stayed in Rome for 3 nights only. We got excellent advise what to see, where to eat, which shopping street to go to etc. We really found all the receptionists both useful and nice. The breakfast was good.

Hotellet ligger dejligt centralt midt mellem termini banegård og Colloseum, 10 min. gang til begge. Hotellet ligger på 3. sal i en gammel bygning, og placeret til baggårds side, det betyder nul gadestøj. Værelserne er rene og hyggelige, indrettet med nye badeværelser. Personalet taler 100% engelsk og er meget imødekommende og er i stor udstrækning påpasselig med at advare mod de mindre sikre sider af ROM. Eneste minus jeg vil nævne er at morgenmad kun serveres på værelserne, der er nemlg ingen morgenmadsrestaurant. Jeg kommer gerne igen.

Hotellets personale var yderst hjælpsomme, og man følte sig meget velkomne. Værelset var fint og rent og morgenmaden god, eneste minus var at der ikke var et bord til at nyde morgenmaden ved, man skulle sidde i sengen...
