frendly stuff,very good expearance

First off this is a Hostal and not a hotel but the only difference is the very clean rooms are a little smaller without some conviences of a hotel. (The only thing missing was an Iron and WI-FI). The hostal is close to Grand Via's shopping and the metro station is 2 minutes away, with numerous restaurants and bars very close. The hop-on hop-off tour bus stops less than a minute away. My only complaint is the bed was not as comfortable as it could have been. I would definitely stay here again.

Ideally situated for sightseeing in the historical centre...great value. Very clean, comfortable and well apointed No negatives at all.

Even though this is a three star hotel it is very well maintained and clean. The rooms are small but comfortable. This is not a place for someone who wants a very luxurious stay but is very functional. The neighborhood is lively but be warned that on Friday and Saturday night the bars in the neighborhood go all night. The good thing about this hotel is that it is located on a pedestrian lane so there is no car traffic so it tends to be quieter than other hotels in the neighborhood. If you have a choice, skip breakfast. There are much better options close by.

This hotel is in an excellent location about 200m from Plaza de Sol. The hotel is small but very clean and modern inside. All rooms have air con and a tv and although our room was a little small it was really comfortable and well maintained. The only hassle we had was a 10 min wait for the receptionist when we were checking in but that made sense later when we realised that she was also the cleaner. Would highly recommend (but if u want a quieter stay ask for a room at the back of the hotel as there are pubs and cafe's out the front which stay open til 4am)

New smallish, comfortable rooms, associated with Hotel Victoria nearby. Excellent location near Plaza del Sol: not near anything in particular, but easy walking distance to almost everything from the Palais Real to the art museums. Metro stop nearby. Very active neighborhood. Lots of restaurants nearby, and night life, if you like that sort of thing. Big shopping district to the north with great paseo. Hard to get to by Metro from aeroport, because must change twice. We took a cab from the end of the aeroport line. I could not get the free wifi to connect to my Nook.

Great stay. Would do it again.

We stayed for 10 days in this hotel and found it met our needs very well. Charming and modern, with very small room and small bathroom (shower only, & very thin towels changed daily). The room was kept scrupulously clean. A/C worked fiercely (options were either on full blast or off), but blanket kept us cozy. We were VERY thankful for double-glazed windows that kept out 90% of the very boisterous carousing on the street below (which lasted every night until 3 or 4 am). Location is great - just 2 blocks from Sol Metro station (the very center of Madrid), surrounded by friendly cafes and cervezerias. TV but no wifi. Wifi available 1 Euro for 15 min. around the corner. Overall good value for the money. Be prepared to speak Spanish if you want more than basic info. Staff are very friendly but English is limited.

Perfectly located near to the centre of Madrid (Sol), el Pasaje is just down a side street. Spotless room, a little on the basic side but definitely value for money. Breakfast is in the restaurant opposite, plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals etc too, though don't expect hot English breakfasts. The only slight negative was some street noise until around 2-3am as Madrid partied away into the early house. A few bars on the same side street meant a little noise, but on upper floors this isn't enough to put me off going back. If i'm ever in Madrid again, I would consider staying here.

Centralt beliggende tæt på Puerta del Sol og seværdigheder idenfor gåafstand. En enkelt overnatning. Meget fint i forhold til pris. Morgenmaden serveres på restaurant 50 m fra hotellet. Rigtigt godt og hyggeligt. Vil ikke tøve med at bo her igen.

Veldig bra beliggenhet. Midt i sentrum. Kort vei til severdigheter og spisesteder. Frokost servert i nabohotell, men bare 50m å gå. Ikke veldig stort rom, men god seng. Veldig bra renhold.

The hotel is a little bit less than normal standard hotel, but works very fine for a weekend. It is not in the room you would like to be on a trip to Madrid. It is minimal service at the hotel and the persons we met din not speak any english so we could not ask for any information about the town/places to visit from them. There is some noice from the town life outside the windows in the evening but after a whole day with new impressions you do not notice this. The hotel was perfect situated in terms of what the city had to offer of in regards to shopping and the tourist attractions. We took a tourist bus right outside of the hotel taking us around the old town of Madrid and afterwards we took a walk to the places we wanted to have a closer look at. This is how central the hotel is. Just a perfect weekend!

Comfort van de kamer liet te wensen over: harde kussens, wonderlijke geur (verbloemde rooklucht?). Locatie is perfect, op 100 m van Puerta del Sol en alle belangrijke attracties op loopafstand. Het straatje kan erg lawaaiierig zijn door de aanwezige horeca, dus neem bij een kamer aan de straatkant je oordoppen mee! Verder sympathiek hotel voor een redelijke prijs.

Allt var bra, förutom att ac var för kall och temperatur en inte gick att ändra..

This hotel is perfect for walking to any place of interest in central Madrid. The hotel is very clean and looks newly refurbished. During the friday night there was some noise from the street but this is to be expected as people party in the beginning of the weekend. The TV only have Spanish channels but who goes to Madrid to watch TV? For the price this is a very good hotel and I strongly recommend it to couples and singles.

Et lite, men flott hotell 3 minutter gange fra Puerto del Sol, altså svært sentral beliggenhet. Rom med gode senger, passelig størrelse og rent. Eneste minuset med rommet var et litt lite dusj-kabinett. Frokost inkludert, som ble servert på en kafe 50 meter fra hotellet. Mulighet for å oppbevare baggasje i resepsjonen etter utsjekking. Anbefales.
