Casa de Campo Los Pastores - روندا

CONS: The Hotel is too far from City Center and it's not walking distance. It's approximately 5 to 6 km walk and 3 of those on country roads with no lights. The beds were very uncomfortable and hard. Map was incorrect on location in Hotel.com or else I would have never stayed there. I wanted to be walking distance and in the center of town. PROS: Very quite, peaceful, and beautiful location. The service was great. If you want peace and quite, Campo Los Pastores is the place to stay. Ronda is not far by car and there's plenty of parking in the city. Food was great and the wine was too. The meals were 20 euro per person.

The facilities are set in beautiful countryside and are small enough to provide a real sense of intimacy. Having rabbits, ducks, and chickens, living freely in the grounds gives the whole place a real country feel. It is an interesting blend of rustic charm and elegance and the staff were not just helpful – they were delightful. It is a place we will return to.

A beautiful, peaceful, lush setting in the rolling countryside a few minute's easy drive to Ronda. 2 pools (one with fabulous water slide) set amongst trees. Ducks, bunnies, deer, peacocks, chickens. Apartment great for a family with a couple of under 10 kids. Comfortable, clean and workable kitchen. Only small thing is the food is quite expensive for what it is (but then just head to the square in San Fransciso part of Ronda for great, good value food).

This was a fantastic hotel!!! The food was good, the rooms were pretty and the service was exellent. I have to go back!!! And I really recommend this place!!!

This place is fantastic. It's a lovely conversion of a farm house into a number of cottages. The views of the surrounding hills are outstanding. There are two pools, although it was raining when we were there, so weren't able to use them. Instead we were able to light a log fire in our cottage and sit by the fireside in the evening. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. Despite us arriving at 6pm, they were still able to cater for us for dinner which wasn't pre-arranged. Our only regret was that we could only stay one night. It would have been great to lie by the pool or take advantage of their tours of the country on horseback. (ps. the map location shown on hotels.com when I booked wasn't accurate)

This is a nice and romantic hotel, with well separated and comfortable rooms. It is fully on the country, about 6 km away from the city center. It has a special setting, as a renewed 'hacienda'. But you need a car to go to the city center of Ronda. It does not have an own restaurant for dinner. A choice of relatively cheap breakfasts is available.

Il s"agit d'un ensemble de gîtes très bien situés au milieu d'une vaste propriété: calme garanti! Idéal pour les enfants: animaux en liberté(poules, canards, paons....et possibilité de ballade à cheval). Chaque gîte est différent et très bien décoré. Superbe vue sur les sierras autour de Ronda(à visiter)

Stayed at Los Pastores in July 2011 with my family while visiting Ronda. Booked a 4-person apartment which was perfect. Clean, airconditioned and perfect size. 2 beautiful modern pools with stunning view. My 2 small kids loved the small animals walking around Los Pastores. Peacocks, rabbits, ducks, hens and so on...lots of horses in the fields surrounding Los Pastores. Elisabeth (receptionist/cook/waiter - u name it) was the most friendly staff ever met at a hotel - she made the experience even more perfect. The small size of the "hotel" - 7 rooms and 3 apartments - made the stay feel quiet/calm Wonderful place so close to wonderful Ronda!
