What a find!!! This is a charming inn with only 5 rooms. It is a converted apartment, which was remodeled about 3 years ago. 4 rooms have a private bath, ours did. Everything about it was lovely. The bed, pillows,decor, bathroom, refrig (they gave 2 bottles water daily), safe in room. Located on a side street off of Via Veneto, perfect location-Metro stop Barberi at the corner. The staff was wonderful. Our flight was cancelled and when I called from Paris, he was very kind and said when I know when we're arriving call and he will reschedule the taxi we booked. No lift-but we didn't expect one. Room on 2nd floor. When we got there the staff helped carry luggage, when we left allowed us to use small lift in building for our luggage. We stayed at 6 hotels on our trip-1 in Paris and 5 in Italy, all with comparable prices and this was our favorite by far. Definitely would recommend and can't wait to stay there again in the future.

We stayed in La Piccola Maison for 4 days in March 2012.Hotel is so clean , everyone is so helpful, Giorgio 's recommendation about restaurants and places was perfect.He helped us so much.The room and Bathroom is new and very clean.everyday when we arrived room back , we find our room clean . Location is very close to everywhere . The subway ( metro ) and bus station is out side of the hotel.when we are in Rome again, we will stay in La Piccola Maison, we will recommend here to our all friends . At last , great location , great value, great service , great hospitality

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet (with the windows closed). Staff very knowledgable and friendly and helpful and took took time out to show us all the places of interest on a map and also instructed us on how to get there by foot or public transport. The location was superb, very close to the magnificent Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The metro station (Barberini) is a 30 second walk from the front door and it will take you straight to Termini, Vatican and other useful places. No breakfast but the hotel is liberally surrounded on every block, every street by restaurants and bakeries where you can sip a superb cup of expresso for 80 cents (standing at the bar). Wifi was free and reliable and the showers were strong and hot. Coupled with a clean, comfortable room and central location, what more can you ask for?

Very nice, comfortable and clean rooms, very nice neighbourhood right next to piazza barberini and its metro station and very close to the spanish steps, fontana di trevi and parco borghese. In addition the people working in Piccola Maison were very friendly, spoke english fluently and gave us valuable suggestions where to eat helping us to avoid the tons of tourist and expensive restaurants of Rome. One small drawback: it was on the second floor (without elevator) -they helped us carry up and down our luggage.

Giorgio and Laura were very helpful w/ directions to the places we wanted to go see - what buses/ metros to take etc. They also recommended some really good places to eat and get gelato. They definitely made us feel welcome. The room itself was very chic with modern furnishings and lighting. It was a very comfortable stay a great location, would definitely return for another stay if I came back. Thank you guys for your hospitality!

We stayed at the Piccola for 3 nights in June 2011. It is well located in the historic center and right beside the subway. The place was clean, safe , and modern. The owner is always ready to help you with a smile. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at La maison trevi, which is a sister inn of La piccola maison. the room was big and specious. The location is wonderful, just moments away from fontana de trevi. Giorgio and Laura are wonderful people, helpful and nice. We would definitely come back and I recommend to others to do the same. Just one side note- there's no elevator so its difficult for people who can't climb steps even though it's on the second floor.
