The only thing I really would have liked would have been a coffee maker in room.

Everything you would expect from a cheaper hotel, except the breakfast was honestly awful (hard bread, stale donuts, warm milk etc). I know the price is decent but they could have put a little more effort in to the breakfast and provide at least something edible. No real big complaints except for that. FYI, there are some B & B's in the center of town for not much more money, some even a little cheaper depending on the season. And don't go to Kingston in April, there's a plague of Mayflies, no joke, look it up.

We stayed for one night, it served the purpose for what we needed but I think there were a few better hotels closer to where we wanted to go, I was a little disappointed in the hotel and the immediate neighbourhood.

The Econo Lodge is not at all fancy, but is clean, convenient and quiet. The staff members are friendly. The breakfast is just barely there (toast and cereal), but is cheaper than a restaurant. You get what you pay for, and this is good value for dollar.

We stayed for a week-end here, and it was awesome. The staff could not do enough for us. The situation of the hotel was great, we just had to walk to our destinations.We would definetly stay here again and will tell all our friends about this place

The Hotel was fine. The room I stayed in was fine for a night - nothing lavish, but comfortable enough. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. If I was on a nice vacation, I don't think I would stay there, but if you need something affordable for the night, I would recommend this hotel. Didn't take "advantage" of the continental breakfast as i like something a little healthier anyway and went downtown to eat. CONS - I was on the second floor and the hallway STUNK of cigarette smoke (even though it looked like only the last 4 rooms were smoking rooms). If you can handle that, then you should be fine.

We were hopeful upon checking in as the sign outside stated "Newly Renovated". After checking in, we were hard-pressed to notice what had actually been renovated. There was one ice/pop machine for the entire hotel, and the ice machine was broken. We went down to the front desk to ask for ice, and the poor girl actually had to run across the street to buy some for us! That was wonderful of her (her name is Emily) but she shouldn't have been put in that position. The hotel halls smelled like a wet dog, and we were wakened the morning of check-out at 8:30 by the chambermaids. We hadn't put out our Do Not Disturb sign, but really, check out is 11!! The price of the rooms was reasonable, but we have stayed in better hotels for that same price. I really feel that actual renovation needs to take place for people to want to have a repeat stay at this hotel.

The front desk staff was very efficient & friendly, but I feel that she was over worked. She was at the hotel until midnight & then back by 9am working the front desk & the breakfast area. There needed to be at least 2 people there to do the job properly. We had a difficult time sleeping due to the street noise & the slamming doors in the hotel.

we came back to celebrate our 1st anniversary where we met last yr the stay was enjoyable weather was beautiful the activities were with in a walk from the hotel would go back again thank you

The Kingston Econo Lodge is well placed on the Pricess Street and provides good value: free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast, good and clean rooms. The walls could use more sound-proofing, but otherwise OK. Good value.

Upon arriving it took about 15minutes for them to confirm our room. Told us to come back at 2pm as the people before had not checked out and the room still needed cleaning. We went back to the hotel at 2pm and the gentleman on the desk was extremely more helpful and pleasant than the person that had been there earlier. It said the hotel had just undergone renovations--sure didn't look like it. As well, the stairways to the room were rather unkept--needed a good washing! Even though we had requested a smoking room, we were appalled at the stench of the room--we even went and bought Febreeze and sprayed everything right down to the curtains--nothing removed the odor. We were a little disappointed that there was no microwave or coffee brewer in the room. Most places have them, including the Econo Lodge we stayed in elsewhere. To be honest with you, we would never stay in this hotel at this location again. Very disappointed to say the least. You would think for the money you spend to stay there, that the acccommodations would be somewhat better!

$100 deposit taken up front for not smoking - even though the rooms reeked of smoke. Carpet was moldy because of leaking room fridge. Bathroom was moldy as well.

No sleep possible after 5 a.m. because water running in one shower can be heard in all rooms.

Very good value for the price. Only 5 min. by taxi to center of town for restaurants and bars. Breakfast place and ATM/bank just across the street from the hotel. Very covenient for access to and from highway 401.

The welcom e we recd was not very good, The person didn't seem to happy to see us. She wasn't giving out any information as how to get to are room as it was our first stay so we didn't know too much. The room was alirght but as for the bathroom, not too much room. We had a broken window and the sign outside said NEWLY RENOVATED. If it had been newly renovated, the window would have been fixed and not broken.

our stay at the hotel was a pleasant one as the location was very near to all the sights and views as we got closer to the water the history and culture was very nice old fort henry is a place to go for history and a view of how they lived back in the day will be back again soon thank you

For the money this hotel is okay for a night. The rooms are clean, small and the pillows are uncomfortable. It is a 15 minute walk to the top of downtown Kingston. One issue, the room was non-smoking but the hallway reeked of smoke. Yuck!

Get what you pay for, a bit far from town, neighbor not sure of, room and bathroom VERY small for even 2 adults, clean and service friendly

We were impressed by the quality of the accomodations at the Econo Lodge in Kingston . The rooms were recently renovated. The overall impression is surprising given the price.The rooms were clean and appealing. The bathroom was spotless and up to date.The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Don't let the neighborhood fool you . This is a great deal and is perfect for families .

our stay at the inn was a pleasant stay staff were helpful kind and respectful also very helpful to us..would enjoy staying there everytime we visit kingston as for the closeness to events a 30 minute walk to the downtown and u r near the water all the amenities you need to see the atmosphere was calm serene and pleasant to be around a joyous stay.

"newly renovated" advertising is 1.5 years old!! Time to change the ad AND marqee outside the hotel!!

In the bathroom the handel on thy door was broken. The bathrooms floor was dirty; the bathtub was clogged; We found a dry used hand towel hanging on the bath tubès courtains. I just advised my family to avoid touching anything in the room and left first time in the morning.

nice hotel for the price. Room were extremely clean and modern. don't be fooled by the 2 stars...go for it !!!

Could have been better, but I've seen a lot worse. There were hardly any clean rooms and it took them four tries to to give us the keys to a room that housekeeping had been to. Once there, things were okay, but oddly enough the whole room was slanted one was and we had to put a show under the fridge to keep all in contents falling out when the door was opened. Price was good though and the coffee in the morning was greatly appreciated.

This hotel has been renovated and the room was very clean. I would have liked to have pay per view movies as an option. I did find the parking a bit confusing as the entrance/exit did not appear to be an entrance/exit. The continental breakfast was ok. Also, the hallways had an overwhelming aroma of air freshener, which wasn't very pleasant.

hotel was newly updated, but there was no elevator access. we had a lot of luggage up and down the stairs. Breakfast room was packed, and very carb heavy, so we skipped it. location is decent, on a main road, but too far from downtown/historic sights. its closer to the big box shopping.

The hotel was very well kept,had free parking, and was easy to access from the highway and downtown. A great location if you are going to be all over the city.

Aucun élément de confort, pas de micro-onde, pas de mini-fridge et pas de cafetière. Très moyen pour le prix, très inférieur à un Econo Lodge américain!

列車の駅からタクシーで１０分くらいです。 またバス停が前にあって中心部までバスで １０分前後。（ただ本数はそれほど多くなさそう） 高級感はまったくないフロントですが、親切でした。部屋は古めかしいけど立派なキングサイズの ベッドがあって風呂場も綺麗でした。 ただ長距離バスの駅までは相当あるので歩かない方がいいです。（私は歩きましたが工事中だったり 地球の歩き方の地図が不正確で大変でした！） 近くにベトナム料理や韓国人がやっているような 怪しげな日本食の店はありましたがほかに たいした店はなさそうでした。

Hotel tres sympa pour un prix tres petit nous avons ete surclasse a notre arrive dans une suite .. hotel bien place par rapport aux chutes et le petit dejeuner est satisfaisant
