Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe All Inclusive - بونتا كانا

We stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed it a lot! The best beach and overall hotel standard of all the hotels along the Bavaro beach, as far as we could see from walking along the beach and visiting 3-4 other hotel receptions! Huge facilities with plenty of activities for those who like that, or different kinds of relaxation for those who prefer that. Several descent restaurants to choose from, even if none of them were "gourmet" so to speak - most of them had their good specials. Very nice pool areas and as mentioned a very-very nice beach! Highly recommended!

We stayed here recently for 5 nights in Barcelo Palace De luxe and we were really happy. The hotel areas are huge and beautiful, nice pool area, beautiful gardens.We had a room looking to the golf . The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast in buffet was good with a great variety, restaurants were good enough, we went to Steake House, Brisa ( very nice), Italian, and Japaniese. The beach and ocean are breathtaking, if you walk to the left side looking to the ocean, you will find the little market with tipical dominican souvenirs, walking to the right you will find very quiet beach and savage nature, we made great photos there!Great place and greate hotel!!

My stay at Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe was just amazing. Everything ( staff, pools, beach, rooms, food, entertainment) was just great. I suggest especially the water park for both adults and children. I will go back for sure before the end of this year with friends and family. Great gateway!!!

The hotel was very nice but food was just horrible. We tried 2 different restaurants and not good. The buffet was bad as well. No one answers the phone either. We called many times and front desk would not pick up. One kind of beer and they charged for good brands of alcohol. Other than that it was nice lol

The cleaness of the restaurant's dish was not good. Moreover, drainage of the bath room does not function properly. At my request, the repairman came and repaired it. The door knob entering into bath room was broken and could not use it. When I call the bellboy, he came to my room after almost one hour terribly. Howerver, golf course and restaurant there was excellent.

Excellent Restaurants and Buffets. Excellent Room. Excellent Service. Excelent Pools. Excellent Discotech. The only black spot is check-in. I have been staying in that hotel for years and ALWAYS check-in takes about 30-45mins by average.

The hotel, overall, is very good with good clean rooms, quiet, cold A/C. The beach is clean and the pools are nicely laid out. The food in the Buffet is plentiful and the restaurants are good. The only downside on both times that I have stayed there is the check in. Elsewhere in the world hotel check ins are easy and quick. In this hotel it has, on both occasions, taken about 1 1/2 hours, which is about 1 hour and 25 minutes too long. I was not the only one in this situation either. Don't let that be the deciding factor on a visit though as the hotel is much better than others I have stayed at in Punta Cana.

Excellent hotel, staff courteous and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Food and entertainment very good and room and facilities were kept spotless. Looking forward to returning next year.

This review will be honest & general without going into exact details of every personal moment of my vacation. I must admitt before I went I read all the reviews some being very negative so I am happy to report I feel they were exagerated. The hotel is beautiful-the rooms are clean & also beautiful. The beach & pools are wonderful with clean exotic grounds. The food specifically the buffett is just average, I think it gets boring due to using it often. The restaurants are better with the Mexican & Spanish excellant--but stay away from the Steakhouse (they cant cook meat properly anywhere in DR). I did not try the French or italian so I don't know if they are good? I highly recommend the Dolphin swim for $140.00 per person, it is well worth it-for $30.00 I took the boat out with the family to watch & film it. They say you cant film,but no one stopped me! They take pics & for $40.00 you can buy a disk with approx. 20 photos. Every night their is entertainment-some nights good & other nights when they have "Miss Bravaro Contest" just horrible. The employees are just like everywhere else-some great-most ok & a few who could care less. Yes, speaking spanish certainly helps but not nessesary as most speak english. I highly recommend Punta Cana & this hotel based on my personal experience & price.

I stayed at the Barcelo on a trip scouting out future places to take the family. This place is amazing and I will be back!!

We were here in the off season, and the service, food, staff and atmosphere was really top-notch for the price. It is probably more in season but as long as it doesn't break the bank account, go for the Barcelo Deluxe - top shelf liquor, great restaurants, nice staff, services, buffet and rooms. The resort is on a nice big stretch of beach and almost the entire area is roped off for swimming.

great for couple relaxing, don't go if you are single and want to have wild time. Food is pretty average

The hotel is far better and far newer than other resorts that I have stayed in along this coast line. The rooms are newer and better than others and the overall impression from my brief stay was very good. The food with all 'all inclusives' can leave a little to be desired, although it is still reasonable. There are more choices to eat at so I have only skimmed through one area. The staff at the front desk were helpful, although there always seems to be some small issues when checking in. there are plenty of pool areas and beach areas and masses of sun loungers so that even the most ardent German towel placer could be satisfied.

Friendly staff, beautiful room and beaches. Felt very safe and comfortable. The food was good if you are careful. English was the minority language by far for guests and staff but all of the servers speak enough english to get by. Not required to tip but if you bring a stack of 1s and tip for drinks and food they are very appreciative.

It's a nice hotel, but there is a lack of management around. There are a lot of staff members, but no one really managing them. The restaurants are very visually appealing, but the food is lacking in freshness and taste.

This hotel was amazing and the staff bent over backwards to please us.

Please use this review as a good fundamental approach and I hope this helps. Who - My wife & I (Early 30's) Places visited before - Aruba, Cancun, Cozumel, Bali, Hawaii, Thailand (This is more to give you an opinion from the places we have visited and the recommendation based on that) Language - Fluent English, Broken Spanish (Took 4 or 5 years in high school) Dates - Feb 16th 2011 for 4 days. Hotel - Barceló Bávaro Palace Deluxe Punta Cana Airport (Arrival) Arriving at Punta Cana Airport was absolutely beautiful. Very smooth process. If you are an American Citizen, you do not need any special required documents other than your passport. You do have to pay a mandatory $10 USD a person entrance fee upon arriving to Punta Cana. So be sure to have cash upon arrival. We took a shuttle bus that we paid upon exiting the airport and was skeptical at first. However do not be afriad my amigo, it was smooth and they were all friendly. We payed $28 USD from airport to Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe. It was around 30 min drive. Checking in Based on the other folk’s reviews, I was mentally prepared to wait 30 to 45 mins to get my rooms. If you are mentally prepared, then you are good. So relax and have some drinks on the house while you wait for your room. Remember, its Management's fault for having a system that takes a long time for the folks to get their room keys. People are absolutely nice there. I noticed a lot of people complaining that they do not speak english, well what do you expect when you visit a 3rd world country? How many languages does an average American speak fluently? ONE! So take it easy on those guys. They truly do care and are trying to help. I personally think it’s fun to visit a country where people speak a foreign language. It makes it fun being able to practice my 4 years of Spanish at High School to put to test. So if you are truly concerned about that, then go to Florida and sip on your Budweiser beer there! Just go with the flow and have fun!

O Hotel é sem dúvida algo perfeito, estrutura magnifica e limpeza impecável. Apenas tres detalhes que precisam ser melhorados: o café da manha ultrapassar o prazo de até as 10:30 (quando estou de ferias gosto de ficar despreocupado com o horario); o atendimento nos restaurantes (achei os garcons um pouco lentos para nos atender) e o translado do aeroporto para o hotel (deveria ser cortesia, pois R$ 60 por casal é caro). Mas estou sendo bem chato, na verdade estou procurando defeito, pois na verdade este hotel é MAGNIFICO.

Fué placentera en general, el hotel en materia de entretenimiento está bueno pero en lo relativo a las habitaciones y su mantenimiento deficiente, la calidad de la comida buena destacándose los restoranes Italiano y Español. Los recintos exteriores muy limpios y en buen estado. La playa estupenda. Excelente en materia de alcoholes.

Não há do que reclamar. Quarto luxuoso, muito conforto, vista incrível, jacuzzi na varanda. Muita qualidade no cuidado com os hóspedes, pensam em tudo, desde música ambiente que saem de pedras ao ar livre até mimos nos quartos, chocolates surpresa, champagne, piscinas perfeitas, bares maravilhosos, bebidas a qualquer hora, praia paradisíaca, com esportes como pedalinhos, caiaques, catamarã, windsurf, aulas de dança, bingo, volei e basquete, golf e 18 pistas de mini-golf. Restaurantes maravilhosos de frutos do mar, carnes, espanhol, japonês, italiano e também bar com sinuca e cinema, esporte na tv, junk food e comida mexicana. Para a noite disco, cassino, apresentações no teatro.

Très bel hôtel. Bon service hôtelier. Restauration moyenne. Personnel souriant et aimable pour la majorité. Un peu "usine" par le nombre de chambres. séjour très agréable. L'idée du jacuzzi sur les terrasses....excellent. Petit bémol si vous n'aimez pas la flûte de pan pendant tous vos repas au buffet....fuyez loin ;-) Mise à part ça je vous recommande cet endroit super sympa pour une famille ou un couple.

A estrutura é espetacular. A comida por ser de buffet até que é boa. O vinho horrível. O quarto fantástico e muito confortável. Se pretende comer bem não vá. Se pretende comer muito pode ir. Se pretende usufruir de um resort completo vá tranquilo.

Eu, esposa e filhos, passamos 8 dias inesquecíveis neste Resort magnífico, localizado na melhor praia de Punta, Bávaro. Fomos abençoados pelo sol e mar deslumbrantes todos os dias e servidos pelos seus funcionários simpáticos, educados e atenciosos, sempre procurando agradar-nos da melhor forma possível. O quarto Family Room Deluxe, acomoda confortavelmente o casal, mais 4 filhos. Retornaremos a este paraíso com certeza.

excelente hotel, nada màs que pedir, excelente servicio, todo en su punto

O hotel é excelente! Pesquisei bastante antes de escolher, li blogs e acabei optando pelo Barceló Bávaro. Fomos com uma expectativa muito boa por tudo que lemos mas confesso que nos surpreendeu muito além disso! O hotel é lindo, impecável, com tudo que pode-se imaginar dento. O atendimento é excelente. A limpeza do quarto ficou a desejar em muitos detalhes mas nada que manche a excelente reputação. Recomendo muito e retornaremos com certeza.

Que suerte encontre un hotel como buscaba desde hace mucho tiempo.Naturalmente que recomiendo este hotel a todos aquellos que quieran pasar unos dias estupendos.Todo estaba bien.La amabilidad de los trabajadores me sorprendio gratamente.Lo unico malo es que solo pude disfrutar tres dias por mi trabajo.Espero que en otra ocasion pueda quedarme al menos dos semanas.Doy las gracias a todo el personal en general.

Hotel s hezkou aritekturou. Krásná pláž. Bohužel v termínu 17.1. - 2.2.2012 bylo v hotelu přítomno mnoho dětí, což se negativně odrazilo v úrovni stravování.

À exceção de alguns problemas que tivemos com o encanamento de água do andar terreo que foram difícieis de superar pois os funcionários eram relutantes em encontrar quartos disponíveis para a troca, e com exceção do custo da internet que era abusivo para um serviço terrível, podemos dizer que o hotel Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe foi perfeito. Muito lindo, bem conservado, cheio de bares e restaurantes... o lugar é perfeito!

Excelente!!, pero la proxima vez trataremos de no pasar por Miami, "tortura" que nos amargò el regreso a casa

Reservamos a suíte júnior em frente ao mar. A viagem foi de lua de mel. Fomos super bem recebidos. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. A estrutura do hotel é muito boa também. Adoramos.

Fue con mi esposa en septiembre de 2011 a este excelente hotel. La gente super amable, las instalaciones geniales, la playa es muy bella. La verdad seguro voy a regresar a este hotel pues es tan grande que no termine de disfrutar todo lo que ofrece.

Fui de férias com meu marido e fiz uma reserva em cama de casal, chegando lá nos colocaram em um quarto com 2 camas. Disse que não ficaria lá de jeito nenhum, fomos pra recepção e fomos muito mal tratados pelo funcionário Alejandro. Ele só efetivamente tomou uma providência para nos trocar de quarto quando pedimos nosso dinheiro de volta. Em 10 minutos acharam um quarto pra gente. Os restaurantes buffet são ruins e até os restaurantes a la carte são uma decepção.... o serviço é muito ruim. São poucos os funcionários de bom humor. Não recomendo.

El hotel está genial. Los trabajadores dominicanos tienen otro ritmo de trabajo más lento pero son muy agradables. Todas las habitaciones tienen jacuzzi y está muy bien. Casi todas las habitaciones dan a la playa. La comida es bastante normal de sabor pero hay mucha variedad y los restaurantes son muy bonitos aunque la comida tambien es normalita. En conjunto es muyyy aconsejable para familias y parejas.

Soy nacido en Colombia pero he vivió muchos años por fuera. Tengo 38 años mi señora 37 y tenemos un hijo de 2 años. La última vez que fui a un “all inclusive” fue hace 20 años con unos amigos a Cancún. Decidimos el plan del Barcelo Palace ya que pensamos que para nuestro hijo sería la mejor opción. Efectivamente el lo paso increíble y en general el hotel está bien pero algunos detalles que vale la pena resaltar. El día que llegamos logramos hacer el check in rápido ya que llegamos por nuestra cuenta y no en ningún chárter. El cuarto que nos dieron era un twin (2 camas) siendo que la reserva era para una pareja y un bebe es decir una King y cama adicional. El aire acondicionado no servía. Después de armar un escándalo logramos que nos cambiaran de habitación. Este es un punto importante; si tienen algún inconveniente que requiere inmediata atención no se conformen con cualquier respuesta del staff del hotel; desafortunadamente me quedo comprobado que alzando la voz los resultados llegan. La comida no es nada especial pero tampoco está mal. Apenas lleguen soliciten las reservas para los restaurantes ya que después les van a decir que no hay cupo. Los pasables son el italiano, francés y español. No se conformen con un no por respuesta; si insisten lograran la reserva. En términos generales y para concluir es un hotel con instalaciones de 5 estrellas y servicio y comida de 3 estrellas.

O local é paradisíaco e o hotel maravilhoso!!! Os funcionários são simpáticos e prestativos e a comida é muito boa! Dica: assim que chegar no hotel faça logo a reserva para os restaurantes frances, italiano, japones, espanhol e mexicano. Maravilhosos!!!! Quero voltar inúmeras vezes!!!

Recomendo a todos !!!
