Its a new hotel - well maintained. Comfortable Beds. Good morning breakfast. Location is close to Discovery Kingdom - and is about 45 min. drive from Napa.

Clean ,new ,nice staff, good location.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing for several reasons. First, we requested adjoining rooms and were told they were secure...didn't get them. Second, our air conditioner/heater was broken. Third, there was no fridge or microwave in room. Fourth, there was a pool, but outdoors, and NOT heated so nobody wanted to use it (a big let down for the kids). Fifth, drains in the bathroom were terribly slow and there was no fan in the bathroom. Sixth, was not as close to 6 Flags as we thought. Wished we had a better experience. Will know where NOT to stay next time.

Side door was unlock from rear entrance to the hall way access. That was a security issue. It seem the magnetized latch system was inoperable.

You never have a second chance to make a first impression. It started when I checked in. My room was prepaid. They charged my credit card $50.00 up front. If I had know they ere going to charge I would have given them a different card. Usually the hotels I stay at hold a card but do NOT actually charge. I needed the card I gave them for a rental charge BUT because they actually charged me $50.00 I could not use it. When I asked the clerk why he did that he said in case I walked away with the TV. I did not find that funny. I was tired and wanted to just go to my room and sleep. The clerk and one other person saw me struggling with my luggage and just stood there. I said for 50 bucks someone could have helped me with my luggage. After I had got my luggage on the cart the clerk said Oh do you need help? What a smartXXX ! I will NEVER stay at a Holiday in again

Excellent staff, especially the lady that handles breakfast during the week. The bed is hard, and the walls were super thin.

We stayed for 2 nights and all six of us were able to stay comfortably in 1 room. Breakfast was decent and staff was helpful and polite. We would definitely return. Stores and restaurants are in walking distance.

For the entire three days we stayed, a simple request went unanswered. I called within 10 min of checking in and requested a fix to the AV system. It was late and they said they would get on it first thing it the AM. It was never fixed. On the third day when I called again, they said it couldn't be fixed at night and they didn't have any other rooms as they were fully booked. Must have been with efficient travelers as the parking lot was less than 1/2 full. I left the next morning with a promise the manager would call and offer compensation. It is 2 days later and, you guessed it, no call. Internet was free but completely unusable as well.

The hotel was fine however the location was difficult to find. We called twice after being unable to find it with our GPS. We were told it's by Walmart and Starbucks. Not exactly correct, the best directions would have been across from the Round Table pizza place. If you are coming from the south you'd see the sign however, the hotel is not visible if you are approaching from the north.

The staff was superb; so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

Good breakfast, clean hotel, polite staff, and I feel like I got to know the people in the room next to me. The first couple days, the man liked to watch TV real loud, then snored like a bear. I think he may have sleep apnia. He ought to see a doctor. A different female guest checked in next and had lots of people to talk to on her cell phone. I felt like I had roommates.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Hard, so call ahead for directions. I would stay here again. Convenient to a lot of the wineries in Napa.

Location real close to everything. Clean and very well kept. Nice size rooms. We were very happy and would stay there again.

The quality of this hotel was all around excellant. Clean, modern and comfortable. A little far South from what was advertized as 'Napa'.

Very pleased with the modern up-grade of the rooms--very comfortable; noise level of AC/heater not excessive. Good comp breakfast. Have been coming to Seattle and staying at other motels in the area for over 30 years--sorry we didn't find University Inn sooner. Best deal, best location, friendliest employees, best facility.

There was only one negative that I had with this hotel. It was beautiful in decor, the breakfast was very good, room was clean and staff very nice. But I do need to make a comment about whomever picked the large towels for the bathroom must've been the size of TWIGGY! Those towels are as small as the ones in the Motel 6 chain and just as thin! I'm not a large person but when I have to use all 3 towels to dry off from the shower that's a bit much. Maybe cutting corners on the towels wasn't such a good idea.

Overall it was a nice experience. I was only disappointed between the lack of communication between hotels.com and the hotel I stayed at. According to the hotels.com receipt, the room I booked should have contained a refrigerator and a microwave, but I noticed it did not. I asked the front desk and they said that only comes with the suite. That was my only disappointment, other than the I would definitely stay there again, very close to wine country!

Hotel was nice, but our room was not made up after the first night. We told the desk prior to leaving for dinner. Returning from dinner we found new towels on our bed but the room not cleaned. Additionally the Hotels.com site showed all rooms having a fridge and microwave. We did not find this to be true. Front desk told us only certain suites have those ammenities, even though our room was an "Executive King" it did not.

Did not ask much of the place given its motor inn sort of genre but it proved more than acceptable and better than expected. Friendly staff clean spacious room. Pretty good breakfast served. After a day of exploring Napa and before a day of exploring Sonoma a good base accessible to both.

The hotel was nice, and the employees were very accomodating. The breakfast was especially nice. I couldn't have been happier.

Less expensive than staying in Napa but close enough to not matter. In room air conditioner noisey.

Front desk was friendly, breakfast was good and had variety for all family members. Found it odd that I had booked for 4 but had to ask for additional towels. Liked convenience of nearby restaurants and Wal-Mart for additional needs. Overall satisfactory and as expected for price.

The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the breakfast exceeded our expectations, and the pool was great. My only complaint is that our bathroom had a burnt out lightbulb and we had to request facial tissue. We'd definitely stay there again.

Overall the hotel was a great choice for what we paid. The breakfast was a little sparse but definitly not bad for free. Also, if you're a big family, 4 or more, you may have a hard time finding seating unless, I guess, you get there very early, 7:00AM, and get your breakfast then. The first day, we just ended up taking our breakfast back to our room and ate there. I think though if I'm going to serve biscuits and gravy and eggs one day, I would just not serve biscuits and no gravy the following. Minor issue, it's free. The rooms were really nice and they accomadated us with adjoining rooms with other family members. The front desk clerk was really nice, friendly and informative about the area. If we needed anything, we just walked over to the Walmart or the many fast foods next door. Seemed like a very safe area and just 15 minutes from downtown Napa. Oh, by the way, if you go to downtown Napa, go to the In-door Oxbow Market, which is a right hand turn on First St instead of a left into downtown Napa. Really great place to eat very interesting and different kinds of food and deserts.

Traveling with a family, it's hard to beat the cost and convenience of this motel. The free breakfast and free wi-fi were also nice to have.

It was very close to ideal - great location, very friendly staff, easy to find. The room was not set up for five people, which is what we booked for (you'd probably have to manage setting up the sofa bed like we did) and the pool was not as pictured on the site. But, overall, it was great!

Good location , not far from Napa and cheaper

This is a very clean and neat property with VERY helpful staff who go out of their way to accommodate you. Close to shopping and restaurants. We were very, very pleased with our stay here!
