Adriatic Hotel - روما

Me (Swiss) and a friend from New Zealand spent two nights here on a short sightseeing trip to Rome. Location was amazing, just a stone's throw from the Vatican (10 minutes from the nearest metro station though). The room was way above what I had expected for a two-star hotel, and was clean and comfy. We got two seperate beds as requested while making the reservation. The guy at the reception was extremely friendly, helpful and nice. Half a dozen nice restaurants nearby, we can absolutely recommend the small and authentic "Porta Castello", a mere 50 meters from the hotel. Would return and recommend the hotel without hesitation. Only downsides were the missing english/international TV channels - but you don't go to Rome just to watch TV - and that it was a bit cold in the room. But it was winter, and the bedding was warm enough anyway, so we were fine.

Not the prettiest hotel, but a good comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The Solarium is great. The manager was very honest - my daughter accidentally left 50 euro in her passport when we checked in - and they gave it back to her along with her passport. We really appreciated their honesty - we thanked them and he said - Familia!!!

there really isnt much to say about this hotel ..almost missed to front door to hotel not in a great area and almost hidden away ok for pit stop for 1 night

basic hotel with friedly service and excellent location.

We spent a weekend in Rome and after searching for the best hotel for the price came across the Adriatic Hotel. It's basic, but you're not paying for the Ritz are you? The location is fantastic with plenty of cafe's, pizzeria's and restaurants to choose from. The Vatican is also just a stones throw away (5min walk) and you can easily take a 35min stroll along the Tiber River to the Colosseum. We requested a triple room and it actually had a double bed and two singles which meant 4 of us could share the room!! I'd recommend this hotel - but don't expect the world, it's basic and cheap.

This was a nice hotel close to the Vatican. There was also a bus stop right outside the hotel. The Metro was a decent walk away from the hotel, which was kind of a pain. No breakfast, and there was quite a bit of street noise. Free internet was very nice.

Excellent hotel, only about 3 blocks away from Vatican City, a few more from the castle, 2 away from an expensive laundromat and easy to find. The hotel is only about 10 to 15 minutes from the Colosseum and the ruins, "depending on traffic". ATM is right next door, and the shopping is only about 10 minutes walking. (including grocery store but there is no fridge in the room)

Staff friendliness and hotel location far outweigh any cons with this hotel. We were welcomed and given a map which was marked with all the major attractions and given sound advice about how to spend our time in Rome. Hotel is a five minute stroll from the Vatican and has plently of places to stop for breakfast nearby. Rooms were basic and tired looking but were clean and attended to each day by the maid. Highly recommended to anyone on a budget.

Good location. AC did not work. Traffic was noisy most of the night. Not bad for the price, though

Very basic hotel, not that cheap considering. Good location litterally two minutes from the Vatican. Best thing about it was the lovely street just behind the hotel that is full of restaurants and cafes. The majority of the staff were grumpy and not very helpful, they made us feel as if we were an inconvenience. There is no breakfast available and the charge you 10Euro per day minimum to switch the air con on. There are nicer hotels for cheaper - keep looking if I were you.

Good Location, Friendly Staff, English speaking Receptionists, lower cost public parking available on the street next to the Hotel.

The rooms are not overly nice. The decor is outdated, the vanity was broken, and there was a cigarette burn in the one chair. Having said that, for the price and the location - and the fact that you're in Rome, the hotel was a good deal. The rooms were clean and the front desk was very helpful. The neighborhood is wonderful and you're an easy walk to stores, restaurants, shopping, the vatican, and many other attractions. The metro was also an easy walk to the hotel, which is the best method from the train station. This could be a great option or a bad one, depending on what you're looking for. We wanted a good location, clean rooms, and a helpful staff, so we were happy with the choice.

This hotel was very clean and tidy.However when we arrived it was 38 degrees and the room was very very hot, as we were also hot we asked if the air conditioner could be turned on the answer was YES @ 10 EURO per night , but apart from that it was a fairly good place to stay.

Unless you are on a tight budget, this hotel has little to offer save a bed for the night and close to Vatican City. I cannot think of any other reason why you would want to stay here. We were charged 10 euros extra for the privilege of the manager switching on the aircon via a remote. depressing room and tired fixtures, TV did not work. Reception on the first floor of what looks like a block of flats, strange....

It was a small hotel, not too hard to find once you get a good map. Downside was you had to pay for AC each night if you wanted it, but we had a balcony that we left open each night and it was quite nice weather while we were there so we had a good breeze each night and didn't have to pay for AC. The bathrooms are really small, but decent. It was a no frills hotel, but great location, great price, nice staff, so we'd recommend it.

Great location to major sites and trains. Only draw back is there is no parking onsite. Parking is provided by an independent garage 3 blocks away. Prices are not set by this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room does not have refrigerator, iron or coffee maker!! But walking distance to Vatican is pleasant and easy!! Staff is polite and helpful. Larisa

Great location for visiting the Vatican side of Rome and easy access to all transportation. Lots of restaurants, markets, pizzarias, shops and so close to Vatican City and Castle St Angelo and Tiber River. Beautiful at night with all the lights. Even a rooftop garden retreat area at the hotel. We had a very spacious room with a balcony and beautiful bathroom. 24 hour reception with surveilance cameras and very secured entry. We were exceptionally pleased.

We enjoyed our stay. This hotel does not provide breakfast, but there were options in the neighborhood. Location was convenient, between Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican. Salvatore at the front desk directed us to good local restaurants.

Hotel was great!! The service was outstanding, and the staff are extremely friendly. Although our check-out was in the early afternoon, they let us leave our luggage till the evening. Moreover, the location of this hotel is amazing! It's close to a metro, and walking distance to most tourist attractions. There are also really great restaurants nearby, and the staff are eager to share recommendations. The hotel room and bathroom was more than we expected for a 3-star hotel! Very clean, homey, and overall great. Only thing that we found weird: they don't give us a key for the hotel to take with us. We had to stop by the hotel front desk whenever we left or came back to the hotel, but this was no big deal - the staff is there 24/7. Overall, highly recommended. And if you stay at this hotel, make sure to check out Le Tavern di Martin. It was our favorite restaurant in the area.

This hotel was just a few blocks away from the Vatican and a couple other interesting sights. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. It was close to bus stops to get into central Rome. The neighborhood was safe and had many conveniences.

Centrally located and convenient, but room was not cleaned every day and there was a leak from the bathroom that soaked the floor and was not fixed. Wanted to extend stay one extra night, and they were not willing to negotiate, so we re-booked through hotels.com and got another good rate. Not good business sense for the hotel. Some staff were helpful, but others were rude and unhelpful, so I cannot recommend this hotel.

we had a room with two single beds. the bathroom was surprisingly modern and very clean. the room is small but nice. the beds were on the uncomfortable side, but adequate. the hotel is safe and well maintained. the clerks are very kind and attentive, though they don't speak much English. the hotel is around the corner from the Vatican and walking distance from just about everything.

The locatioin is great! You are in the middle of everything and access to the Metro was convenient. The beds were a little stiff, however they served their purpose for very tired tourist. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice. When we checked out we were hit with a 50 Euro charge because we used the air conditioner. It was my understanding that this was included in the price. Make sure you get a clear understanding of the cost before booking.

Considering the rate, the room was pretty spartan, but some of Rome's premier sites are nearby (Vatican, Castilo Sant'Angelo),so you are paying for location, not hotel amenities. The rooftop solarium is a great place to unwind with a glass of Italian wine after a day of sightseeing. The surrounding neighborhood is pure Roma.

Como disse, o hotel fica próximo do Vaticano. A ressalva que faço é quanto ao serviço de quarto, pois o aquecedor é ligado das 5 horas até 23 horas. Alguns quartos não aprestam a vista indicada nas fotos de propaganda. O banheiro é pequeno e o local de tomar banho é ainda menor. Recomendaria para quem está interessado somente em pernoitar e passar o dia visitando os pontos turísticos ou outras atividades como passar o dia no Vaticano.

Pulizia quotidiana e camere davvero silenziose. Posizione davvero centrale e praticamente davanti a San Pietro.

Ottima accoglienza: professionale ed empatica. Al mattino ho staccato due bottoni alla mia giacca per un incontro "duro" con una porta di sicurezza ! Ho trovato una esperta rammendatrice tra i dipendenti dell'hotel, che, chiamata, dal portiere, ha provveduto in modo esemplare !

- Localisation de l'hôtel par rapport au centre historique de Rome : très appréciable - Equipement TV : accès limité aux chaînes nationales --> regret de ne pas avoir accès aux chaînes internationales notamment françaises - Desserte ascenceur : regret que la réception soit située à mi-niveau entre desserte RdC et 1er niveau en ce qui concerne la manutention des bagages ( arrivée / départ )

O hotel é fraco mas compensa pela localização excelente. Internet só no solarium e não tem café da manhã. Fica bem próximo ao vaticano e ao castelo de Sant´angelo. Fomos para esses pontos à pé. Eu voltaria a me hospedar mas se vc faz muita questão de uma maior qualidade, essa não é sua escolha. Obs. Não digo que o hotel é sujo mas é bem simples e sem maiores comodidades.

Ottima la posizione,a pochi passi da S. Pietro. Visto che l'albergo non offre la possibilità di colazione e pasti, comodo a due passi Borgo Pio ricco di trattorie e bar. La cosa negativa è che l'albergo dispone solo x il pernottamento, neanche di un piccolo bar x riscaldare del latte ai bambini.

Godt og billigt hotel, med rigtig god beliggenhed, super tagterrasse. Personale venlige og hjælpsomme. Desværre ikke mulighed for morgenmad, og en del trakfikstøj fra gaden.

LO MEJOR ES QUE EL HOTEL ESTA MUY CERCA DE EL VATICANO CAMINANDO A 5 MINUTOS LLEGAS A EL MERO CENTRO DE EL MISMO VATICANO. PERO LA ATENCION ES ALGO MALA, YA QUE EL HOTEL ES MAS O MENOS BARATO PERO TE COMBRAN POR TODO , POR USAR CLIMA POR USAR TELEVISON ASI QUE AL FINAL PAGAS MAS QUE EN OTROS HOTELES.

Nice hotel with good locatin. Bed was quite hard but romm was clean.

les chambres sont simples mais propres et rien à dire sur l'accueil et le service par contre la chambre était très bruyante malgré un double vitrage . Il semble que la fenêtre ne comportait pas de joints en périphérie. Localisation intéressante pas loin du Vatican et à deux pas du vieux ROME par le pont en face du Castel San Angelo. Pour les petits déjeuners il y a un Bar en face de l'Hôtel:vrai jus d'Orange ,Cappuccino,croissant et pains confiture . Pour les repas une bonne adresse :L'isola de la pizza au 45 via Degli Scipionni. Il est conseillé de prendre un plan de Rome avec lignes de bus car elle ne figurent pas sur les plans habituels,les bus sont fréquents encore faut il savoir ou les prendre!

Attention : la première chambre occupée était au 1er étage, avec une fenètre qui laissait passer le bruit et en plus des travaux dans la chambre à côté dès 8h du matin ! Heuresement, ils nous ont donné une autre chambre au 4ème avec bonne fenètre. Mais sans cette chance (il aurait pu n'y avoir plus aucune chambre dispo), le séjour aurait été complétement afreux

Enkel standard, men ren og hyggelig personal i resepsjonen. Meget sentral beliggenhet men restauranter, shopping, severdigheter i nærheten.

Hotel hat eine tolle Lage - keine 5 Minuten vom Petersdom entfernt - ideal für alle Erkundigungen zu Fuß - wenig Komfort, ist aber für die Zeit die im Zimmer verbracht wird (schlafen) vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr freundliche Rezeption, saubere Zimmer, wenn auch schon abgewohnt. Einziger Wermuttropfen: Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Ich persönlich würde Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder buchen
