Princes Street Suites - إدنبرة

Unit was in a perfect location in easy walking distance of most attractions and transport. It was a huge unit with everything you could want for a holiday and was very comfortable.

Cannot fault the apartment at all! Was such a nice stay and the reception staff were so lovely! Even at 2am! :) would defiantly stay again and recommend to anyone!

it was a birlliant place space wise and modern and clean, views were awesome and the roof top terrace was nice novelty, however the tvs did not work in the bedrooms, wifi was poor quality, main bathroom shower head was dodgy, these are the basics i would expect being an appartment and having three bedrooms for privacy, but for the price i couldnt bring myself to complain, would definitley stay there again

The location couldn't have been better. The apartment was very cosy and clean. Unfortunately I only stayed for one night but I have since recommended it to friends and family. Great quality accomodation.

Booked this last minute and will definately be going back, very friendly staff and the suite was very comfortable and spacious and very clean.

If you have kids of varying ages that need space, this is the place. Three bedrooms each with their own TV made our visit comfortable. The living room offered a large TV with DVD player (the desk offers free movies- all genres). The full kitchen made it easy to bring food and snacks back to the hotel for later in the evening or next day breakfast. There was even a washing machine for laundry. The desk staff was professional and prompt, as they quickly made arrangements for a crib and high chair. Only downside was no on premises dinning, which was fine becasue many establishments were less than 30 meters away. Location was perfect for a family, as many attractions were within walking distance....Would stay there again in a minute.

After a long train journey it was a real treat to enter the Princess Street Suites, the two receptionists were very welcoming and helpful and our suite was brilliant, light and spacious and yet wonderful views to watch the bustle of Edinburgh. We loved the facility of being able to prepare our own meals and shall be back. Unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of the spa treatments but that would be another treat.

We loved staying here and it was exactly what we wanted. Staff were more than friendly and helpful. Our apartment was huge and very modern and comfortable. Only downside (putting this in as we paid a lot of money) was the general maintenance of the apartment. The painting on the ceiling in the living area was unfinished. The ensuite shower had very low water pressure. Small things but but important. I would definitely stay here again though.

The views from the roof top were amazing. Well located. Our one bedroom studio apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the princes street suites but the staff could have been more helpful than they were and some of the dishes had not been cleaned properly.plus, we were told,there would,be bathrobes and slippers in the room but there were not. One of the TV's in one of the bedrooms did,not work.

Princes street suites was booked as a surprise for my boyfriend and we were both extremely happy with my choice. Everything was perfect, location, suite facilities, apartment size and comfort. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in Edinburgh. Also brilliant value for money.

The apartments are HUGE, superbly appointed and are in a great location. The only down side is lack of parking (not even a bag drop area) which is a fair distance away at the railway station car park. Other than that recommended in every way.

Booked a 1 bed appartment at Princes Street Suites as a change from a normal hotel room after reading other reviews. What a great choice I made ! Just around the corner from Waverley Railway station so very handy for the next morning when I caught my train to Glasgow. On arrival I was told I had been upgraded to a 3 bed apartment so would have plenty of room. Only hiccup whas that when entering the apartment I found someone had already been allocated it having left their bag etc. so had to go back to (the 24 hour) reception who were suitably embarassed and apologetic so re-allocated me to another 3 bed apartment ! Massive lounge area with kitchen area off it, fridge had a stock of uht milks and some tea/coffee and washing up liquid all present. Didn't really have the chance to make best use of the space, as I was on my own. Had my own bathroom, plus there was another one for the other two bedrooms. Clean, modern fittings and furniture and comfortable, made a nice change to the usual boring and small hotel room you often get, and all for the same price as you would pay at a 4 star hotel. Book here and you won't regret it - lives up to its 5 star rating. Would be great for either business people or family visiting the city. They also kept my suitcase safe for me the following day while I went to Glasgow and back, as I changed trains at Edinburgh on my return journey home.

I was upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. Pity I was on my own, otherwise, it would be perfect for a family holiday. The hotel is decorated at high standard. It is 2 minutes on foot from the train station, excellent if you travel by train. I have a fully equip kitchen to cook my dinner one evening which I am very pleased.

This hotel is in a fantastic location but somehow every morning I got some disturbing guests. e.g. someone who check the meter in my room and someone who do the electricity checking. THIS IS VERY disturbing since it is as early as 8 or 9 am. Also I found the wifi is very slow, which only got 30-40 kB/s. I am sure if a hotel want to satisfying its guests, it should has high-speed broadband or fiber cable.

A brilliant place to stay. Staff great. View from roof terrace fantastic. Our apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment, we were in, was starting to get a bit worn round the edges, but most of this looks like abuse from previous guests.

The location is convenient to all public transport, as well as to the important tourist sites which you can easily reach on foot. The hotel set-up is equally convenient, providing you with kitchen facilities, helpful front desk staff, and spacious accommodations. Cleaning staff sometimes needs some direction on replenishing supplies, but is happy to accommodate once they are informed, and always happy to assist.

Excellent service, beautiful room, very clean and even though its so close to princes street and Waverly station its very quiet.

we were upgraded from one bedroom to two. spacious yet still cozy with everything we needed! two minutes from train station and play house making this a perfect location! we will be back x

It was our first time to stay at apartment as we usually stay at hotel. Our experience staying this apartment was really excellent. The room is quite spacious and all furniture and electronics appliances are well maintained and even look new. The location is about 5 min walk from the station. Only problem we faced was laundry. Unfortunately, our request for washing machine and drier did not reach the hotel. And all rooms were occupied and there were no washing machine and drier for us. We requested the hotel staff to help us. Although some staff showed their hesitation to do so, anyway, we passed our clothes in the morning and they kindly washed and return them to the room in the evening without any extra charge. It is great service, I suppose. It is very good apartment. I have several friends to go to Edinburgh next year, I will recommend this hotel to them.

I stayed their for one night. I found the hotel in Hotels.com website at a very cheap price, and i was going there with my girlfriend for one night and we are both students, so we are used to not staying at the best hotels and dont actually mind it that much. But this hotels was not at all what we expected, it was sooo good. To start with the location, it is located as central as it can be, it was simply the best location u could ask for, simply great. Then the staff who was incredibly helpfull who gave us four free wifi passes to use on all our devices, who didn't charge us for one bottle of water that we took in the minibar, who upgraded us for free, who kept our luggage the next day after we had checked out in the morning so that we didn't have to carrie around a big bag while seeing the city. i mean in one day it is quite limited how much u see of the staff, but of what i saw, they were very nice and incredible professional and made me feel very good. And now to the room, which was so amazing. The best room i have ever stayed in. Clean, with a big bedroom, a big big big toilet with bathtub, and a nice size kitchen, and a bige living room with a big tv and 40 channels or something like that. U should stay there it is a very nice hotel.

Have stayed here a few times before and it is always excellent. The apartments are exceptionally comfortable, clean and convenient. Will definitely stay again.

Very good value for the price i paid. Ideal location for my needs, especially as so near the train station. Can't fault it. Will definitly use again / recomend to others.

very pleased with the size of the suite and all the amenities in it.

There was no plug in the bath and a member of staff found the same problem in other empty units when he tried to get a replacement. The shower head is fixed high so if you're short you have to wash your hair whether you want to or not and I didn't want to at bed time. Apart from that, the apartment was lovely and we had it on a late deal so it was good value.

Great place, location and staff - first class and will definitely be back! Beautiful appartment with stunnign views and perfect for attending perfomance in the Playhouse or visiting the city centre and its other attractions. Parking not provided is only fault but did not spoil anything.

The place was super, altough we could not get the cable to work at all. Resturant across the street on corner was great.

This hotel is very well located and the suite we had was spacious but unfortunately the beds in both rooms were very uncomfortable, the carpets were very visibly stained and the bathroom in particular was not in great shape - there were all kinds of splashes of (we're not sure what) all over the walls, the towels appeared sort of rumpled which made us wonder how fresh they were. The staff were very nice and helpful - but overall the property doesn't seem to be well maintained (dings on walls, stains on carpets, dirty mirrors in common areas) etc.. We won't book this hotel for our return visit and because of the maintenance/cleanliness issues and we wouldn't recommend it to our friends.

Hotel was in a great location just a couple of minutes from Waverley Train Station, right on the edge of Princes Street. Although the rooms look a little tired in places, they are clean with all the amenities you would require for a short break. We booked a two room suite for 3 of us and it was huge! The staff were friendly and courteous at all times. We didn't really use the roof terrace but it is a nice area with great views. I would certainly recommend the hotel to others if you want extra space with all the amenities of home!

This was not our first trip to Edinburgh, and we wanted someplace convenient yet modernized and not as noisy as the hotels right near the Royal Mile. Princes Street Suites was a great discovery, a renovated interior in a classic older building, with guest suites that are like efficiency apartments -- a bed/dressing nook, couch/TV area, dining area and kitchen ample enough to do your own cooking. Also in-room laundry machines. Contemporary furnishings; nice bathroom and reliable air conditioning. The hotel has free wireless Internet but we found the connection quite unreliable in our particular room. There is no real hotel lobby to speak of although one can buy sundries and make various arrangements in the reception office. There's a rooftop terrace with a scenic view of the city, although we didn't have a good opportunity to use it. The hotel is very near restaurants, shopping, train and bus stations, yet its immediate block is quiet. This would be a perfect choice for a couple or small family spending a week or longer in Edinburgh during the Festival season.

My husband and I travelled from Australia to retrace his Scottish roots. We originally booked 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment. On arrival we were upgraded to a 3 bed apartment penthouse. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable that we extended our stay by an extra night in the same apartment. The location is perfect. Walking distance to everything yet on a quiet street (which I didn't originally believe due to the map showing the road as being a main thoroughfare). There were road works on Princess street at the time, and there was a detour in place so I am not entirely sure if this was the reason for the peace and quiet. Regardless, the actual bedrooms face away from the road. The apartment itself was very well equipped, including wifi in room. The only thing it lacked was a safe. The staff were excellent and even enabled us to print out some office documents via their reception. We would recommend this hotel to anybody for any reason.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff where helpful the only down fall is that the dryer part of the washing machine did not work and this was know to staff One would think that they would have had these machines fixed for future guest But beside this it was clean, easy to get to all of the main attractions in Edinburgh

The Princess Street Suites were located close to Waverley station which meant walking from station on arrival in Edinburgh was no problem. Although room was not availble, the reception staff were polite and accommodating regards storing luggage. Within minutes of dropping our bags my family and I were exploring the shops. Although the 2 bedroom apartment was clean and spacious, with well appointed kitchen, DVD player, and i-pod dock, it could benefit from a refresh regards paintwork.

It was a wonderful apartment, they upgraded us from 2 BR to a pent house. It was a luxious apartment. Great views of the city. Close to royal mile.

Everything was perfect, location, room, facilities etc.... what was far from perfect was the rude obnoxious staff.

The Hotel is amazing and the apartments are quality. The reception staff are very helpful. The price for the room was very cheap concidering the quality. The room we were staying in was on a lower level so the view was not as good as some of the others but from the amazing roof terrece the view is incredible. I could not recomend this hotel/apartment more highly, location is fantastic 5 mins to the royal mile and the centre of the city. 5 stars.
