Know what your getting before you pay. My spouse and I stayed in many hotels and by far this was the worse! The room was very small, no place to really sit and relax or set your cup of coffee. This would maybe be a good place for an extended stay - but not for a relaxing overnighter. For the price you pay you can not adjust the room temp., you have to empty your own trash, and the worse of it all if you wanted clean towels or sheet you had to carry them to the front desk! No room service!!!! Worse stay adventure ever. Would not recommend.

Very nice place. If I were to have one comment it would be that I tried to find a bigger suite that may sleep 4 plus room for a kid on a couch, but the biggest room we could find there was 2 double beds all in the same room. I requested queens but got doubles. It all worked out, i was just looking for a bigger room.

Friendly, helpful employees..room was very nice, clean and cozy, as well as comfortable ...beds were very nice...a bit overpriced for this area though.

We came into town for a funeral and needing comfortable, quiet and clean lodging. We had a hard time finding the kind of accommodations we are used to int his smaller city, but this Candlewood property probably represents some of the best Victoria has to offer. The greeting at the front desk was warm and they had handled our special requests, having two rooms to accommodate our children. Everything was very clean and in order. The beds were comfortable. The fitness facility was in good shape and the room where you can purchase food and sundries was well kept. No complaints.

The Candelwood is modern and clean. Beds are in good shape as is TV, A/C and kitchenettes. No complaints except that prices in the Victoria, TX are high at all hotels. I had just stayed in Austin, TX two weeks ago at a similar property for twice as much.

The hotel is a new property and looks very nice. We were informed in the front desk that housekeeping is provided once a week. It did not bother us since we only stayed one night. Overall, the room was nice looking, however, housekeeping mistaking forgot to empty a small trash can in the living area. The location is great. It is located in the same parking lot as Olive Garden, Starbucks, and nearby the main mall.
