i was not happy with the hotel staff. the smoke alarm beeped from 2am-7am and the staff said sorry nothing they can do at 4am then the next mornign the staff said sorry it wasnt my shiftmy kids and i didnt get much sleep the whole night.

When I made the check in around 4 pm and arrive to my room and I found the Maid cleaning the room.. I was waiting outside in the hallway 20 min. Stinky hallways.....the breakfast ...only cereal, coffee and juice.....

I stayed here to attend a two day workshop in the area. Positives: The overall quality of this motel is actually very nice for the price. It was clean and the room was comfortable with a desk, nice desk chair, sitting chair with ottoman, bench, HD TV, mini-fridge, and microwave. The staff was friendly and courteous. Neutral: I did not partake of the breakfast, but it appeared to be decent with a variety of carb choices (waffles, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, toast, biscuits, bagels, etc.) but only sausage as a protein option on the day I checked. Negatives: My coffee maker didn't work the first morning, but it was promptly replaced while I was gone for the day. One of the lamps in my room was missing a lightbulb that I didn't notice until the second night. My biggest complaint was that the Wi-fi was not usable. They had wireless access points on each floor with what appeared to be a good signal. I could connect to all three but it would drop my connection every 1.5 to 2 minutes. It was virtually impossible to do any work on the internet which was one of the primary reasons I chose to stay at this particular motel. It was evidently enough of a problem that they had ethernet cables readily available to loan to guests. I borrowed one and I know other guests did while I was there as well. Unfortunately for me, I didn't realize my new work computer didn't have an ethernet connection slot, so I was out of luck. At least they did have the cables that could be borrowed. Just don't believe the complimentary wi-fi advertisement. The one computer in the business center was also virtually unusable due to how slowly it responded to general inputs like mouse clicks to open applications or load internet pages.

The employees who work for the hotel where very rude, charge my credit card, because they thought it smell like smoke... I hate the smell of smoke.. very rude, never will go back again....

We stayed there with my wife with a business trip. Hotel was great. The receptionist was super nice. We had a trouble getting wifi signal to our room and I called the desk and he gave me a cable to use it for internet which was nice, cuz' I really needed internet. The bad part was that bc it is close to the airport and suburb as well, it was impossible to find a grocery store or supermarket where I wanted to buy some items. Overall, we had a good stay!

Beautiful room, can't beat the price. Location is terrible besides the close proximity to the airport

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall niceness of this Super 8. Breakfast was acceptable, although the offerings were not particularly diverse. Unfortunately, while the hotel has free WiFi, it did not work during my stay, which meant that I was unable to do some of my work. The person at reception reset it, after which it worked temporarily, but it quickly stopped working again. I stayed at this hotel before taking Step 2 CS, and it was quiet and, if you have a rental car, quite close to the testing center.

The hotel was quiet, even so close to the airport. The A/C was very efficient. The hotel has one computer in the business center that seems overrun with pop-ops and adware and maybe even viruses. There is no ATM on site, and the only food you can get besides the vending machines is the continental breakfast early in the morning. For the price, the hotel was sufficient. I'm used to staying in Marriott or Hampton, though, which are a bit pricier, but the amenities are worth it.

they tried and charge you for a van ride from the airport

The van is not free tried to charge me $10.00 after stayed thier 2 nights.

Thought this hotel provided good service and a nice room for the price. Would recommend.

We had a quick but enjoyable stay. The room was very comfortable, very clean and the price was unbeatable!

It is a nice hotel and location near the airport and who has a business in this area, eveything is perfect in this hotel level and the rooms are so big and clean, just the air condition very cold or very hot not controled easy despit it is new and this is a normal for conditioners, but over all the people are good and nice comfort place for the kind of my trip

This motel was a third of the price of hotels in the area, the breakfast was great. The whole place was very clean. I had no problems.

As my flight was delayed I had to get a taxi to the hotel, which was an added and unexpected cost. Hotel is very near to the freeway which means it was very difficut to get a good nights rest. pillows very uncomfortable. breakfast was too ordinary - very synthetic.

hard to get to, thin walls and terrible location

the hotel was fairly new, i booked it on other peoples reveiws and was very satisfied. i knew the hotel was on the outskirts of houston so i didn,t expect to have a wide choice of restaurants. very satisfied even had a dip in the pool.

This Hotel is one of the cleanest ones I have stayed at. And I dont LIKE hotels. It was comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay. It is not to much out of the way, staff was friendly and pool was clean. Would stay here again if I was in the same part of Houston.

I would stay there again. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Most of all the rooms was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have such a nice room for the amount of money i paid. The Only thing I see that could make it better would be if there was more places to eat.

Nice, inexpensive, comfortable place to stay, but far from restaurants. You need to have a car (or hire cabs) to go anywhere. Suggest eating at Rudy's (a chain) which was wonderful BBQ.

The location was very convenient however the location of the hotel being close to freeway creates a issue of hearing highway noise through the windows. The bedding was fine but the pillows were rock hard. I didnot request other pillows since both beds had the same type, I assumed that they would all be the same.

I stayed at this hotel for an overnight layover. The room included free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was provided in a very nice, clean minivan. The hotel itself was very clean and modern. The room had a new flat-screen TV, comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom with a granite shower, something I would not expect at this price. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was most surprised by the quality of the free breakfast. I expected a few stale donuts and burnt coffee, but what I got was a huge selection of cereals, fresh fruit, juices, bagels, pastries, and a do-it-yourself waffle machine that made Texas-shaped waffles. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price is was fine, no frills. Upset by the cockroach in the room, last of washing powder at cleaners, lack of juice and bread and breakfast and paper in the computer room. Some staff helpful others not.

I stayed here by chance in October on a quick sales trip- I have now stayed here everyweek since October. The place is nice and new. Rooms have flat screen TV's and the beds are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and remembers me. I can basically stay anywhere and for the money, location, and comfort it beats the Shearton hands down! I will be staying here in 2010---

Great room, but the breakfast bar and hotel service were off this time. Still all in all, the room is very nice and well worth the money.

Hotel is extremely clean inside and out. Has excellent freeway access and is very convenient to the airport. Staff is very competent and helpful. Rooms are very quiet and spacious.

The hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable.

Everything was fine...I have stayed here several times and this is the second time that I have asked for a wake up call that never came.

Very clean and comfortable. Best 2 star I have ever been in.

Friendly staff, great rooms and the hotel is brand new! Can't beat the price for a great room and the staff went above and beyond to accomodate us. The only problem is they leave the thermostat in the room off so when we got there the room temperature was 81 degrees and took a while to cool. Wonderful stay and can't say enough about the cleanliness or staff! We had a wonderful stay.

Great, clean, comfortable hotel at a great price. However, there were no restaurants close by. I will be staying there again.

The hotel is new, and nice. You'll pay twice as much on the L8 strip for anything comparable.

Nice new hotel, a little out of the way but worth it. Great Price, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommend. Coolest part is they had huge Texas shaped waffles for breakfast !!
