La Quinta Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown - شيكاغو

The young man who checked us in was very friendly. I told him my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday. Shortly after we were settling into our room, he brought up a happy birthday cupcake. What a thoughtful, welcoming gesture! We chose this hotel for the walking distance from Union Station. The pool was a welcome addition to our stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it others. Thanks!

I stayed here with my 10 year old daughter to visit the museums and do some sightseeing over spring break. The location was fabulous - walking distance to Sears Tower, close to Union Station and a $10 cab ride to the museums. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The breakfast was quite good - a mix of hot and cold items including eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit, etc. The only complaint really was the pool seemed to have too much chlorine and really bothered the swimmers. The pool deck could have been cleaner as well. Yes the pool was small but I didn't expect to find a hotel with a pool in the loop so the size was fine for us. I would definitely say here again and recomnmend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay here, close to the area we wanted to be. The breakfast was very good, filled us up for the day until dinner. The pool area was quite small, we knew that from the other reviews we had seen. If we had the rest of our family with us we probably would not have stayed there for that reason. The room was very nice, some ventilation noises during the night but then went away.

The pool was WAY too heavily chlorinated and made it VERY uncomfortable for the kids and me to even be in the room much less the water.Our eyes and skin burned well after getting out.

The hotel was right in the middle of downtown Chicago. Everything was within a walking distance away. We could even see the Willis Tower (always Sears Tower to me) from our window. Was very affordable for the access to everything nearby. Very satisfied.

Largest and most noticeable sign is not on the front of the building but on the side street, so when trying to find it by the address, it is difficult. Also, $40 to park per day is ridiculous! As a guest, parking should be covered. You would find that more people who drive to Chicago themselves would use your facility. I would recommend your place but I would also let them know their parking will be very expensive and to look elsewhere for parking that is complimentary for guests! Concierge was very helpful!

Very nice hotel, larger rooms, nice breakfast.

The desk staff was VERY helpful. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well-located. Loved it!

First off the hotel tells you it has a pool and hot tub. What is doesnt tell you in the pool holds 18 people and the hot tub only 2!!!! What a joke!!!! Our room had issues as well, the toilet seat was NOT attached to the bowl, the chain used to lower and raise the window shade broke on the first tug....fell to the floor. Then we went to shower and had no soap nor wash clothes....called down to the front desk. Put on hold for a long time and finally had a guy show up with 12, yep count them TWELVE wash cloths and two bars of soap. It was just two adults in the room so not sure why they felt I needed twelve..... on a postive note the breakfast was good the following morning. Bed was nice and room was clean.....but for the price I would not stay there again...I can stay at other places cheaper with better pool and hot tub facilities...the hotel is in the financial district so many of the stores and restaurants surrounding it are closed on Saturday night. We had to walk all the way to Michigan Ave to find a good restaurant.....

Angela at the desk was wonderful She treated you as if you were a friend staying at her house. The breakfast was WAY more than the usually "continental" type and the serving staff was super friendly and helpful. Woiuld definately stay there again

This is the second year we have stayed at LaQ. We love it's location. We had some issues when we arrived, and the staff handled them quickly and to our satisfaction. The breakfast is just OK. The fruit is watery and probably came frozen. The scrambled eggs were lukewarm. Otherwise, as I said, OK.

Very clean , super friendly staff & great breakfast. We were even able to check in early which made the entire trip BETTER !! Already recommended it to others !!

The Hotel was great only downfall is you have to pay 38.00 dollars a night for parking, that is very expensive if you staying multiple nights, other than that great stay!!!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and the location was perfect for our stay. The room was decorated modern & was bigger than we expected. Extensive list of channels to watch. For all of the amenities, the price was great! Pool was small, but it was perfect to take a dip in. Breakfast had a large selection of choices and was the best I've ever had at a hotel. This will be our hotel in Chicago from now on.

Was in town for convention at McCormick. Off the beaten path so easy to navigate. Down street from Italian Village restaurant which is very good. Quick trip, everything was perfect. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

The hotel was quite nice and we would stay there again. Our coffee maker didn't function, but that was a minor matter in light of the expansive breakfast and the Starbucks across the street. Price obtained through Hotels.com was unbeatable--thanks!

Very Clean, Friendly Staff

We went to a Van-Halen Concert in Feb 2012, stayed at the hotel. ALL of the staff was VERY helpfull to where we wanted to go and how to get there...even made suggestions on places to eat....was very happy with everthing...except parking but thats not the hotels fault....but thats life in downtown Chicago.....enjoyed the stay!!! 2 thumbs up!!!!...the Breakfast Spread was Excellent!!!!

Great location. Just two blocks from the Lyric Opera. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A very clean and comfortable space to be in.

Our family arrived for a 3 day weekend to see sights and go to museums...we loved this hotel! I like things to be well maintained and CLEAN! This is a new hotel and met all my expectations. Very close to the Willis Tower and a short taxi away from the museums, navy pier, and Michigan Ave. BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC!!! They had a full spread and it was beyond a money saver. We ate b-fast and didn't need lunch until 2 or 3. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was right next door and not badly priced. Hope you enjoy it too!

I really liked the set up of the roon it had cofee maker,iron,blow dryer nice updated room. The bed, comforter and pillows were comfortable and loved the room was super clean. Also free breakfast was awesome some cold and some hot food. I did not check out the pool and other ameneties but those are usually a plus. The only downside paid $40for parking i thought it was free but my misunderstanding because usually all downtown hotels have parking fee. The room was afordable and came with refrigerator and microwave so thats good. It was 5min from club so location was ideal.

Decent hotel not in the best neighborhood, beds were very uncomfortable and felt very cramped in the room. Staff is very short with you and doesn't offer to help with anything. And their continental breakfast area was not clean at all.

Nice room. Great location. Treadmills in the gym need to be updated/maintained - really noisy when running for extended times on them. Couldn't find the remote for the TV in the Gym. Overall, good place.

My wife, son and I stayed at the hotel with two double beds. There is NO WAY that two adults could stay in those beds. They were TINY and only slightly bigger than a twin. We had to have my son sleep on the floor with some extra comforters since there were no cots available. The hotel was nice, but not if you need to sleep three in the room.

A small thing to most, perhaps, but not to me. I asked at the front desk to have our coffe machine cleaned as there was coffe where the water goes, and I wanted to make tea for myself. The lady promised to fix it while we went for an evening walk. When comming back, freezing, it was not fixed.

It wasnt what i expected and we got introuble for going down in our sock feet. we were on a getaway and this is the first motel/hotel that has said anything about this.

Visiting clients in the Citi building downtown. This location was great, quick in and out of the city and the rooms were clean and updated. It looks like it was updated or built recently. Staff is friendly and there's 24 hour security in the lobby. Great food and shops nearby. I'd stay here again as it's a great value in downtown Chicago.

I've been a business traveler for over 20 years and have seen my fair share of hotels from high-end Luxury hotels to economy hotels. The La Quinta Inn & Suites in downtown Chicago was among the very best hotels I've ever used for business. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is right next to the Loop and very convenient and the staff was without exception, helpful and responsive to my needs. Easy (and free) internet access in the room and plenty of work space. I can recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Chicago.

My experience here was amazing. We chose this hotel because it was close to Ogilvie Transportation Center, and I'm so glad we did! It happened to be my birthday, and when I mentioned that to the Front Desk, they not only upgraded my room to a corner suite, but also upgraded my parents' suite as well! The complimentary breakfast was the best I've ever had, and because the hotel is new, the rooms were impeccable.

We will return as soon as we travel again. What a delightful,pleasant visit. The breakfast was plentiful and nothing was wanting , ( except grits lol). Loop area convenient to everything we like about downtown Chicago.Thank you for the greatest of stays.

Thank you for a most romantic evening on NY Eve 2011. The bedding was comfy... the room extremely modern and clean..your staff were friendly and helpful. Thank for your care...felt like home.

The staff was extremely nice, breakfast was great, pool was small but water was perfect for my kids, and who goes to Chicago to swim anyway! Will definately stay here again, price was cheaper than others in the area and you get a lot more than other hotels have to offer downtown.

We loved our stay, the room was great as was the location, we were within an easy walk to shopping and close to Union Station. But the best was the staff, everyone was warm, friendly and helpful from the desk clerks to the woman in charge of the breakfast. They also gave us great tips on where to eat. I would go back tomorrow if I could.
