Couldn't fault this hotel. We had a room on the 17th floor and the views were breathtaking. Breakfast excellent, and hotel perfectly placed for sightseeing.

Excellent room clean, modern, good facilities only thing that lets it down is the lack of on site car parking

On arrival very helpful and friendly staff.Relatively new hotel with a modern and chic feel. Only down side i experienced was it could have done with a third lift ! . The hotel is ideally situated for all the sites and shopping areas. Huge variety of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

Right in the centre of Bristol, within easy walk of Broadmead and Cabot's Circus shopping centres. Breakfast over £14 but excellent place next door does a good breakfast at reasonable prices. Drop-off zone out side hotel with NCP car park just down the road. Parking is not cheap but is reduced if you get the ticket validated at the hotel (further discount by registering your credit card at quidco.com). We used our stay for Christmas shopping which was excellent. Gym is well equipped, small and has no changing room nor shower.

Nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff. Very good service indeed. Great location for city break. Would recommend

Great hotel - I'd say the best in Bristol. It only lacks leisure facilities like a swimming pool and sauna etc, but apart from that, the rooms are great. The TVs have been downgraded which is a shame, but the free WIFI is a great perk and the hotel staff are very accomodating to individual needs. Great service!

I don't think I can fault this hotel. My husband and I booked this for our wedding Aniiversary for the weekend and it was perfect. Lovely spacious room on the 14th floor with fantastic view over the city. Air con was fab as hotel rooms are usually too stuffy for us. All was clean and well maintained. Perfect location as just a few mins walk from all sight seeing places and the shops with loads of choice of restaurants and places to drink. Would definately book here again.

Really enjoyed my stay. The free wi-fi was the icing on the cake and oh ma dayz the receptionist was like tha cherry on TOP SON. HOLLA!

A welcome quality hotel after a string of disappointingly shabby, unclean supposed 4 and 3 star hotels experienced over 4 week period in England. Service from front desk was efficient and obliging and the standard room was a model for other hotels to emulate.

I thought the staff was very friendly and this hotel is in a great location, but I was practically poisoned by the pillows! The pillows and bedding seemed "dusty" and I woke in the middle of the night barely able to breathe. I am pretty sure they dusted bedding with bug poison for bed bugs, and I had an allergic reaction to it. I didn't think about asking him about posssible fumigation chemicals, but I did say I had a reaction to th bedding and they changed it the next day. Other than that its a great location, and the free wifi is great for business travelers.

A nice hotel, in a great location near the waterfront. About 20mins walk from Temple Meads or a short taxi ride. Surprised the hotel shower wasn't powerful and was slow warming up in the morning. Despite looking new the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work though I didn't think it worth complaining about. Breakfast was in the form of a buffet, nothing amazing but perfectly adequate with helpful staff. Unfortunately one of the lifts weren't working so it was a long wait. They allowed guests to use the service elevator but this wasn't much quicker. The reception staff were very helpful and I asked the hotel to arrange surprise flowers for the missus and they did so without incident. Everyone gets a complimentary coca-cola and water. Thought they would replenish the bottled water for our stay but they only replenished the biscuits and tea. All in all a great location for walks around the harbour front or into town. Would definitely stay there again. On the pricey side but got a good deal with Hotels.com

This is an outstanding hotel in a fantastic location--right by the floating harbor. There are an abundance of restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel in a pedestrian area along the harbor. It is lively in the evenings and also within 5 minutes to the old part of town where some excellent indian and italian restaurants are located. This is truly the best hotel location in Bristol.

The overall stay was very good although on arrival we were allocated a room on the first floor which at five in the morning we discovered to be above loading bay for deliveries. Other deliveries/collections happened at six and seven, Although when we complained the manageress moved us to a higher floor with a wonderful view.

I came to Bristol for a Stag weekend and I wanted a central hotel. The Radisson Blu is very central is Bristol, very clean and a pleasant place, the breakfast was very welcoming in the morning. There were only x2 gripes the 10% discount on the local NCP parking isnt much use when its £19 per day which racks up over the weekend!! The second is that the lifts are over worked as there are 16 floors and only x2 lifts. So I walekd from ground to 11th floor all weekend (not necessarily a bad thing for me but could be for some). In conclusion, a brilliant hotel, amazing views, safe, clean and central and the cheapest price through Hotels.com One satisfied customer.

Good location on the centre opposite the Hippodrome and with many bars, restaurants and entertainments within easy walking distance. Was offered a room on 14th floor so any pedestrian noise was not an issue. The views across the city from the ceiling to floor windows were great. The room itself was a good size, modern and well equipped. Breakfast buffet was well presented and had a good choice of hot and cold options. Hotel has very limited parking and so we ended up leaving the car in the nearby NCP. This wasn't cheap (though the hotel does provide a small discount if you validate the parking ticket with then before departing). I'm sure a cheaper (but not necessarily as convenient) car park option can be found if the £18 per day is felt to be too steep.

The Radisson Blu in Bristol is in a pretty unbeatable location, being right in centre, just a stone's throw from the Watershed and lots of other city centre locations. But it really falls down on a couple of things which are important to me. Firstly, for a supposedly a business-friendly hotel, they really fall down on the quality of their internet. They advertise this as being high-speed, but when I was staying there, the only time I found it to be usable was at about 4am (I had jet lag). Outside of that, it was really, really slow. A colleague who was also staying there managed to get better connectivity using his phone. The hotel didn't strike me as being super-busy. Clearly they just don't have enough capacity to support the whole hotel. The hotel also has really slow elevators - and only two of these. A wait of over 5 minutes is not uncommon at about 8.30am, which is pretty frustrating. As the hotel is tall and thin (15+ floors) - taking the stairs is often not an option. During my stay of 10 days, they managed to have a broken elevator (for about 24h), a telephone system outage (overnight) and a complete internet blackout (about 24h). I expect that this wasn't typical. I'd only really recommend this hotel to people new to the city, who are visiting for leisure, and are not in a hurry to get places. Otherwise, I think you'll find it a pretty frustrating place to stay.

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend break. The room booked was a business room, so the rate included breakfast. Room was spacious and on the 15th floor and away from the lift, so was quiet. Having stayed at a Radisson hotel before, I knew to expect a very comfortable bed (good mattress etc) and was not disappointed. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of food and beverages. Service was also very professional. On a slight negative, however (and this is more for the hotel's info really), a bit of the paint / ceiling in the bathroom was pilling off, which I somewhat thought cheapened the room a bit (specially for a "business room"). However, I guess if one ignores this fact, then there is no harm. On a positive note, there was a constant supply of hot water and the water pressure was strong, which is great to get one awake before a long day of walking in town and surrounding area. If I were to visit Bristol again, I would very much try and stay at the Radisson Blu again

Great central location, well equipped hotel, goo breakfast and recently refurbished - a very nice stay.

It can be hard to find a decent hotel in Bristol at a good rate - we paid less for a night at the Radisson than we paid at the IBIS on a previous trip to Bristol - and they are world's apart in terms of quality!. Good location, super size rooms, very pleasant staff and a reasonably priced and good quality restaurant.. The only grumble is the parking... I prefer not to have to pay an extra £18 a day!!!!

Weekend away to see Bristol, as its one city me and my wife have not visited only passed through. The location was great as I had made a surprise for my wife two tickets for the Theatre, 5 mins walk from Hotel. It was right on top of the key with shop and Bars, also it in the old part of Bristol to see what the city’s history was like. Over all we had a great time, due to your Hotel, the whether, and the people of Bristol, the only thing we didn’t like was the The actual play/musical, it just wasn’t for us.

Very nice and modern hotel. Brilliant views over Bristol and the service is what it should be. Having stayed at some of the other chains in Bristol, I would rather stay here as the room is quieter, newer and more comfortable. However, I would suggest that they bought some feather pillows, for guests who prefer them as they didn't seem to be able to accommodate this request when i asked, and i really think that this is a basic request.

This hotel is lovely, very comfortable and great location but we were disappointed that you had to pay for parking at a rate of £18 for a night. The staff were very polite, the guy who checked us in could have been a bit more friendly. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

used this hotel as near to Theatre, was even closer than we realised which was great, fab hotel with all the extra little touches to make your stay special, would definately use this hotel again, only downside is the parking, parked in a ncp close to the hotel and as myself and my daughter were meeting from different parts of the country we came in 2 cars which resulted in a car park fee of £38.00 take this into account as it makes the hotel stay more expensive than we realised would go by train next time

We were delighted with the hotel. It is a beautiful building, great room, friendly and helpful staff and a very convenient central location. We were even allowed to check in early.

Arrived at 10pm - it took 20 minutes for the reception staff to find the reservation on the computer. Hotel car park was closed but we were given a 10% discount on an NCP car park 300metres from the hotel. However, after the initial problems the stay was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable - the best night's sleep in a hotel we had had in years. Breakfast, pre booked the night before at a discount, was excellent value with a really good choice of well cooked food, cereals, frest fruit etc

Absolutely fantastic position, lovely room, brilliant view from the 15th floor, friendly staff. Absolutely recommended one or 2 things shower was not as powerful as it could have been that said the bathroom was clean, stylish and bright, also no parking at the hotel but if you present your NCP ticket at reception just before going to your car they give you 10% off. Lastly I was lucky enough to get a room high up i would recommend asking for this if you want the view. Overall great value for position, staff and quality of room, a very enjoyable stay indeed

It was indeed a surprise after I checked in at the Radisson Blu, Bristol. I was impressed with the quality of the interior of the room and the amenities provided. It was my first visit to Bristol and I was not sure what to expect. But, all in all, I was very glad to have found Radisson Blu so conveniently located (although the landscape was not in an upmarket area!). The reception staff were truly helpful with directions and maps which was comforting. Housekeeping staff deserved my best accolades for "Honesty" .They take pride in their job scope. I happen to have left a diamond ring on the table and found it still there upon return to the room after a day's outing which I thought it would been stolen by then. I am not sure if honesty and integrity is part of the culture of the hotel chain - but I am very impressed that this work culture of honesty and integrity had been so effective. Three cheers to the staff at Radisson Blu, especially, housekeeping !

This is a nice hotel in a great location -- but the staff seem not to be able to cope. I requested a wake-up call that never materialized, fortunately I woke of my own accord in time. When I asked the staff on the desk what had happened they were far from concerned, they didn't really understand why it was that much of a problem. Not even a proper apology.

A group of 10 of us stayed here for a stag do. Excellent location very near to all the bars, restaurants, floating harbour. This hotel had about 18 floors so there was a great view and no outside noise could be heard due to being so high up. This seems to be a fairly new hotel, very clean, very modern with great service. I had absolutely no complaints at all and neither did any of my party. If I ever go to Bristol again this is definitely where I will be staying!

Booked this hotel for a three night stay in Bristol at the end of August. The booking confirmation stated check-in from 2pm however, our room was not available until 3.30pm. The reception area is undergoing some renovation which meant the checking-in area was a little disorganised. Due to the delay, we were rewarded with a slightly better room on the 15th floor, great views! Parking was not mentioned in the booking confirmation and it turned out that parking at the hotel could be pre-booked but as we didn't know this, the car park was full. We were told to park in the NCP down the road at £16.00 per day less 10% discount, be warned! The room was clean & modern as you would expect in a Radisson Blu but the layout was strange. The flat screen TV was mounted on the wall opposite the bathroom which made viewing from the bed and anywhere else for that matter very awkward as it could not be swivelled. The shower was also rather lack lustre, I would expect a power shower in a 4* hotel. The mini bar consisted of a bottle of water and a bottle of coke, that was it! Free wi-fi was very useful as was a safe which was also free. We declined breakfast at over £14 per person so can't comment on the food. The hotel is in a fantastic location within walking distance of many bars and restaurants, we ate in Bella Italia which was close by, food was good service was ok. Bristol was a great base for travelling to some lovely places such as Cheddar Gorge and Bath. Also, a bit further are a couple of lovely villages of Porlock & Bossington as well a great walk along Brean Down where there is a fort that I never knew existed. Bristol itself also offers up the Clifton Suspension Bridge which is definitely worth a visit.

Good location, be aware to book a parking space at hotel if needed. Breakfast a bit pricey, and the bed was wonderful! Would stay again if needed to go back. Overall very good.

We needed to check in early in order to change for a function. The staff were very helpful and assisted us with this matter. Our only criticisms were that the bathroom smelt rather 'drainy' and the nearest car park was very expensive with only a minimal discount for hotel guests, but generally a good experience.

This is a "dormitory" hotel only in my opinion. There seems to be little in the way of extras which one would expect from the hotel's star rating.The public rooms were unwelcoming and cheerless. Car parking cost me a small fortune in an NCP car park for the time we were there (hotel park full but I was told by a member of staff that it was even more expensive that the National parks!) The very satisfactory terms provided by Hotels. com were nullified by this. A room service glass of wine would have cost a large fortune!! - if we were silly enough to pay it. We won't be staying again.

We were extremely pleased that this hotel was so central in Bristol. We parked at the NCP car park but it was only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There was a mini main chain supermarket next door (we forgot some toothpaste) and many coffee shops and lovely restaurants close by. The watershed was across the road. The city bus tour bus stop was right outside. We were a few minutes walk from King Street and the lovely Queens square. Shopping centre was not far away and we were at the bottom of park street. The hotel room was lovely and big and also the bathroom. I cannot fault the hotel. We did not eat or drink in the hotel as we prefer to ramble about but if I was staying on business or arrived late and was too tired I would happily eat there. There were plenty of people in the restaurant. The staff were friendly and I rang a few times in advance to ask advice for directions and parking - everyone I spoke to gave me accurate information. I would definately go back.

I absolutley loved this hotel. What a view! Brilliant customer servic, lovely room, nice and clean. The location is absolutley perfect for Bristol. Whether you are visting for a show, experience the night life, shops and atmosphere. I will deffinatley be back and recommend it for all!

Despite not having the non smoking twin we booked I had an enjoyable 2 night stay with my son. The hotel is in a great location, this of course comes with the inevitable high parking charges at nearby multi storey. Soft drinks pricey in bar area. Have used lots of hotels in Bristol while on business, will use Radisson again.
