W Barcelona - برشلونة

البناية رائعة، ولكنها تبعد قليلا عن كافة المناطق االمخصصة للسير، فقد كنت أرغب أن أكون شمالا قليلا بالنسبة للبحر، حيث القرب أكثر من الأطعمة والمحلات، ولكن إذا كنت تحب الشاطىء فهو يقع مباشرة بالقرب من الفندق.

تلك كانت إقامتي الثالثة في بارشلونة بالسنة الحالية، وقد وجدت الأن الفندق الذي أرغب في العودة إليه، فقد كانوا رائعين منذ لحظة الوصول إلى تسجيل الدخول، حيث كانت غرفتنا فائقة الجمال، ولكنها كانت ستصبح أفضل إذا كانت في طابق أعلى، فقد كنا نقيم بالطابق الأول، ولكن من الناحية الواقعية فإن الأسعار التي وجدتها على موقع hotels.com كانت رائعة، حتى رغم أننا طلبنا أن ننتقل إلى طابق أعلى، وكانت إجابتهم أنهم سوف يبذلوا أقصى ما بوسعهم، إلا أننا كنا سعداء، فالأطعمة، الجو، المسبح، وكذلك المنطقة المخصصة للإستجمام، بالإضافة إلى طاقم العمل، تقييمهم خمس نجوم في رأيي، سوف نعود إلى هناك بكل تأكيد.

غرفة فائقة الروعة، كما كان المنظر خلابا، والخدمة كانت ممتازة، كذلك فكانت منطقة المسبح بمثابة الحلم الذي أصبح حقيقة أمام المستلقين تحت الشمس.

Amazing hotel, felt like being at Miami Beach. Very young and hip vibe, which may not be what families and more mature travellers are looking for but was definitely a different experience from most European hotels we have stayed in.

Modern hotel with an amazing view of the Mediterranean from the room. Amenities are great, the staff is nice and helpful. The beach and the boardwalk are right downstairs. Will be back for sure.

Hotel had all the luxury you would expect from five stars, although we didn't use most of the facilities everything way available, staff were very polite and obliging. Would have prefered to have been higher than the 2nd floor couldnt see much of the city but its down to price and what you can afford - the view from the 25th was stunning.

Absolutely incredible hotel. You can see it coming into the airport because it's an absolutely amazing building right on the beach. Several good restaurants, pool, room service. Had a great stay and they even provided a complimentary bottle of wine. Easily the best hotel in barcelona.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon. We had a standard room and it was amazing, beautiful view and super comfortable bed. The staff are brilliant , so friendly and efficient. Cannot wait to go back for a weekend!

We landed at Barcelona at 9:30 am after an overnight flight. Of course our room wasnt ready yet but they were very helpful storing our luggage and providing access to showers and a plac to change clothes . We lounged by the pool til our room was ready at noon. Great views of the bay and the city. Great room service food. A little pricey on the Internet, and you have to pay for ice water for room service. But overall, great hotel.

Great hotel with very helpful staff or talent as they are called. AC could be a lot better and accessible rooms should have choice of bath or shower. Architects should realise some wheelchair users find bath tubs easier than wheel in showers.

Great location right on the beach with fabolous pool and diligent and organized service.

Gorgeous hotel, amazing pool, great rooms. Try to get Fabulous Room for better view. As on the beach, about 10euro cab ride away from centre of town, so not perfect location if you're going for a sightseeing trip to Barcelona, but great to relax by the pool and have fun at the 26th floor bar!

I am not the most seasoned traveler ever but I have been around and this is by far the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. We were upgraded to a larger room at check in with the most spectacular view of the Mediterranean I could ever imagen. The two restaurantes we visited were both spectacular and the bartenders actually know how to make a proper manhattan which I couldn't find anywhere else in Europe. My stay was in late winter but I can only imagine that during the summer the pool and proximity to the beach would be even more impressive. I hope I have a chance to stay with them again soon!

W says it all. Wonderful! Very modern. Location is a little secluded, but only a 7 minute walk from Barceloneta. But why would you want to leave the place? Everything you could want is there :)

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the W Barcelona. As a young, stylish couple the hotel seemed catered to us. Pros: - Room: The room was beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view was amazing. Motorized blackout curtains. Need I say more? -Ambiance & Location: Outdoor beds, cabanas and lounge chairs (both at beach and pool area) free to guests. Absolutely incredible location right on the beach. Very liberal culture-- expect 50% of the women to be topless while tanning. Don't miss dining at the Bravo restaurant (quite expensive but worth it-- make sure to try the world's best Jamon Iberico de Bellota). Cons: -Room: After spending a night at the hotel some (metaphorical) cracks began to show in it's perfection. It became apparent that the designers and furnishers valued form over function. Some examples include the weak water pressure in the shower, the glass walls separating the shower and toilet from the rest of the room (forget privacy), most of the lamps didn't seem to serve any function other than to throw some dim colors onto the wall. This theme of form over function carried into the hallway, which was poorly lit and dank. At the end of the hallway there was a large glass door that opened out onto a metal stairway with a beautiful view of the sea-- but it was designated as an emergency exit only and was linked to an alarm. -Ambiance and Location: More families with young children and older couples than I expected, given the nature of the hotel. I imagine all the music and lights must have given them a headache. It is a 3-4 km walk to La Rambla, which is the main drag through Barcelona. If you don't want to spend half an hour walking into town, your only options are expensive cabs or city busses (which are quite nice). The Eclipse club/bar at the top of the hotel is rather small, didn't have much comfortable seating and smelled a bit like vomit during our stay. Service: The service was decent overall, and I suppose on the whole a little

Very enjoyable stay. The service was efficient and friendly.

I spent two nights in this hotel and they never even cleaned my room. I paid extra money for an upgraded room and was put on the first floor with a lousy view. At no time did anyone attempt to clean the room or change the towels. This is NOT the service level of a deluxe hotel and is not worth the money it charges.

This hotel looked stunning on the website and did not disappoint upon arrival. A gorgeous design hotel which had the best looking staff I've ever seen. However, the location was a bit far out for my liking and they are building right next door although we didn't hear any noise from this. The hotel service was not great. We had a problem at check-in and despite being told by phone that our rooms were ready when we went back to reception to get room keys one of the rooms wasn't ready. We then had to wait till 4.30 despite check in being at 3pm. There was also a few problems at breakfast. Big, big queues at both restaurants on both mornings. They don't seem to have big enough breakfast areas to accomodate the number of guests. Also there didn't seem to be enough staff as we had to ask several times for tea/coffe and then had to wait for a long time. Would stay here again but only for a few days to relax and would only go out of season.

Excellent service. Great views. Sizeable rooms. Wonderfully quiet at night. Tempurpedic mattresses, however, are a bad decision. For a relatively young and hip crowd hotel, it is shocking that the W went with mattresses that are for people who are elderly, have no muscle mass or have brittle bones (or all three) - too soft, bad for the back and not great for a roll in the hay. When I tried to book a massage to cure my aching back (from the overly soft mattress) it was impossibe to get a reservation without more than 24 hours advance notice - regardless of whether it was a weekend or weekday. Either the SPA is too small or it is understaffed or both. In-room dining for breakfast is both less expense and much better than the 1st floor restaurant's buffet.

A Room With A View!! Wow, amazing hotel, great views, food, rooms, bar, sun terrace! I didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona immensely - partly due to our fantastic hotel which was really a 5* ++++ Although quite expensive and we wouldn't neccesarily eat there - the factilities, service and bedrooms were superb; positioned on the beach with breathtaking views. Would def stay there again,

We loved the room and view (we had a Fabulous room). It was large, with a huge rainshower. There was a problem with the hot water but they sent someone to sort it out very quickly. The location is lovely, but not all that convenient as it is a fair walk to the centre (about half an hour) although there are cafes and restaurants closer than that, along the beach a little way, and a little further on along the road and at the port. For this reason we chose to stay at the hotel for drinks and dinner the first night but the prices were so inflated that we decided not to do that again. The bar area and restaurants are great but you get the feeling that the hotel is a little 'conceited'. It still irks me that a hotel of this calibre and price still charge for in-room Wi-fi when you get it free at the Holiday Inn and Best Western type places. However, the W are not alone in charging for this as it seems to be the norm for expensive hotels. how refreshing it would be for a top hotel to include it in the price of the room. All in all I would definitely recommend, there are plenty of places to eat and drink in Barcelona for a more reasonable price and returning to this hotel was always a pleasure.

Fantastic view and cool lounge area.

The W hotel is really nice if you are looking to relax by the Baraca sea. The staff is friendly, except for the breakfast head waitress who was very rude. The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are sublime. There are two issues that you have to aware of: 1- There isn't sufficient staff for such a hotel. You have to stand in queses for quite sometime to get help 2- Even though the room was gorgeous, it wasn't properly cleaned (there were spots on the carpet and the bed covers.

Jeg tror ikke at Barcelona har andre hoteller som kan tilbyde det som W Barcelona gør. Hotellet ligger på stranden, har en fantatisk udsigt til hav og byen. Har et utroligt imødekomment personale. Hotellet er morderne indrettet, og har nogle lækre faciliter, som the Bliss spa, sky bar med DJ og lækre drinks. Skal helt klart bo her igen.

Otrolig utsikt, nytt och modernt hotell.

Fantastiskt läge vid stranden. Underbar utsikt, åtminstone från de övre våningarna. Överlag riktigt bra service, framförallt när man s a s begär den, men kanske inte så mycket "extra" på hotellets egna initiativ som man kanske kan förvänta sig av ett lyxhotell. Rent bedrövligt att inte wifi ingår i rumspris, kostade 100 EUR extra för att ha det på rummet under vår vecka där. Snålt.

Vacker utsikt, fantastiskt rum och världens skönaste säng. Härlig dusch. Enda nackdelen att restaurangurvalet inte riktigt matchar resten av hotellet - få val av ställen och tråkigt urval av rätter.

Slog mina redan högt ställda förväntningar. Utmärkt läge med utsikt över havet. Häftigt inrett. Dessutom mycket god mat på hotellet.

Service utöver det vanliga och hög coolhetsfaktor både på hotell och de som bodde där. Vi var där för att se en Champions league match och höga bonuspoäng på att Barcelonas spelare bodde på hotellet och helt plötsligt dök upp!

Отель современный, красиво и снаружи и внутри, обслуживание прекрасное. Маленький минус - красота кранов в душе не оправдывает сложности в их использовании. Пару раз в попытках освоить смешение потоков получила холодный душь сверху. И дверь не закрывалась плотно, отчего намокал пол у входа в душь. Не рекомендовала бы туда ехать с маленькими детьми. А для пар прекрасное место во всех смыслах. Удачи.

La vue se paye, mais elle est exceptionnelle (côté plage)... mais il y a un état d'esprit dans cet hôtel qui est assez détestable : on fait payer plus de 20€ par jour le wi-fi, il n'y a aucune piscine chauffée en hiver... et il faut débourser 22€ par personne pour avoir la chance de mettre un doigt de pied dans le jacuzzi. Le petit-dejeuner est par ailleurs assez copieux... mais payable au prix fort : 60€ à 2 !!! Bref, il faut avoir une CB qui a du répondant... Le prix d'une telle vue, sans doute. J'oubliais : prévoir des boules quies pour ne pas être importunés par le bruit de la boite de nuit au dernier étage (jusqu'à 4h du matin)
