Our room was adequate size for New York City, the bathroom was even a bit larger than some of the places we've stayed before. The main reason I would recommend this to anyone is how helpful the man @ the front desk was when checking out. We asked for a cab to a hotel close to JFK, but he recommended the subway since it wouldn't be a standard fare. He told us which stops to use, it was really easy and saved quite a bit of money - probably didn't take much longer than the cab due to traffic.

I booked this after i reached New York and it was perfect location and near by the Metro

I couldn't believe how nice this was for a value chain like Comfort Inn! Everywhere in the hotel was decorated very stylish, like a mod look, something I wouldn't have expected. Even though the room was on the smaller side, it didn't feel small. Maybe the way they set it up. The bathroom was actually spacious. Everything in the room was clean and the things in it were least somewhat new, like the nice sized flat panel tv. They also had an awesome free breakfast buffet. I would totally stay here again.

Not a bad hotel if you are doing your shopping in the Chinatown / Little Italy areas. The independant parking lot next door has reasonable prices but the lot closes at 11pm.

Clean, updated room in Manhattan for a good price. Very satisfied. Not the most convenient location for my personal needs but a good hotel!

clean hotel but very small rooms and very little storage space. would not want to stay for more than few days. neighbourhood dirty but police presense noted on every corner. subway close but some may be very nervous after night.

Location is at the edge of Chinatown and the Bowery. Very convenient to SoHo and Little Italy. About 1.5 mile walk to Union Sq. /Village. Across the street from a park and diagonally across from the Manhattan bridge. I loved the location. Hotel staff was nice. Continental breakfast included a mix of hot and cold items and was part of my room rate. Room was big for NYC standards. Bathroom was sunny, clean and functional. I'd totally stay at this hotel for the location, price and overall value.

Management was friendly. One of the cleanest rooms I have ever been in.

The hotel is located in Chinatown and Little Italy and it is an interesting locality. It is easy to pick up the on/off tour buses in the area. The room was clean and accessible, though as with a new trend in hotels, the mattress was very high and difficult to transfer from the wheelchair. The staff were great and they removed the box spring to make it easier to transfer. I would recommend this as and inexpensive New York Hotel. Tony D P.E.I Canada

Very nice and clean hotel. Our room looked like it was renovated.

I found the staff very helpful on several occasions,it made our stay a pleasure.

We chose the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge based on the positive reviews on the web and because we'd stayed at a Comfort Inn in NYC before. Also it's very good value for the location and the hotel looked very new and clean. Although the immediate neighbourhood is a bit grimy (Chinatown) it is only a 5 minute walk to the Lower East Side, a 10 minute walk to Soho/Greenwich Village and a 15 minute walk to the West Village. Also the subway is only a couple of minutes walk which is really handy for going uptown for sightseeing, We used the subway a lot and there are a couple of other lines that stop around the corner on Canal Street. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff were really helpful and we had a view of the Manhattan Bridge. The only niggle is that the breakfast "room" is way too small for the number of rooms they have. It's great to have breakfast included but it was quite crowded and there weren't always free tables which was a bit annoying. In spite of this I'd definitely recommend it if you want to stay downtown (which is much better for restaurants, bars etc than midtown) and you don't want to spend a fortune on your hotel.

We were able to check in in an earlier time. For a two stars, this is a good hotel to stay. The complimentary breakfast is alright.

I like this hotel for all of its futures; As I've pointed b 4 , all aspects are marked as EXCELLENT. End of story

Very clean, great value for the money, free wifi, good service!

The hotel was clean, modern, and filled amenities that match or even exceeded much costlier properties. For the inconvenience of Chinatown, one can save big bucks, and the B/D at Grand street is one block away with express uptown service or easy Brooklyn. The cleanliness was scrupulous and the amenities very satisfactory.

Our recent stay at the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge was delightful. We were pleasantly greeted leaving and arriving. The room was wonderful, with a great view, and the bed ultimately comfortable. The convenience of the location to public transportation was fine, and walking the neighborhood was fascinating. We will return.

What more can you ask for?

As a nearly brand new hotel, it was very clean and modern. Convinient location, quick to trains and buses but not the easist to spot. Also not the nicest looking neighborhood.

As a business traveler who has stayed in many NYC hotels, I was VERY impressed with this Hotel - how clean and new the rooms were, and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Normally I stay at various 3(+) star Hotels in Mid-town. So that was my NYC frame of reference. I knew to expect a small room (since I was in NYC) - the room here was comparable to the others I have stayed at here. The big difference was the cleanliness, the service, the FREE wireless (very important as a business traveler, a good complementary breakfast, and an amazing price. This hotel was easily the best NYC hotel value I have had to date.

Right in Chinatown, walking distance to Little Italy, the hotel was very accomodating and comfortable. It is the small things that made a difference to us, a nightstand on each side of the bed, extra pillows, and the price was right. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with our 3-night stay. The room was small, but the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a very nice view of the Manhattan Bridge out of the large window. Breakfast was included, and was above average. There are 3 Canal Street subway stations within 7-8 blocks. The hotel is right in Chinatown, and 4-5 blocks from the entrance to Little Italy. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean Hotel but surrounding area is the heart of Chinatown, New York. False fire alarm went off at midnight for several hours. Not fun at all.

Although it's in a kind of dirty area on the outskirts of Chinatown, the hotel was clean and modern (looks like it was recently redone, as of June 2009) and the service was fine.

Perfect for us, clean and neat, comfortable bed and close to downtown. It's on the outskirts of China town so a few blocks to walk to get to soho. Worth it.

Très bon hôtel: rapport qualité prix très intéressant. Cet hôtel est bien situé, à même pas 5 min de la station de métro Grand Street. La chambre était très propre, spacieuse, la formule avec le petit déjeuner et internet compris vaut vraiment le coup. Nous avons été bien accueillis. Je ne regrette pas du tout mon choix et je le conseille fortement.

Ok hotel, good service. Short distance to metro and Broadway. Good for a one night layover. Breakfast wasn't really all that.

Standard hotel that could be a 3 star in my opinion, though that the breakfast was BAD! Only white-bread and nothing that gives you a good start! I ate out for breakfast!

Très bon hotel, personnel très serviable, disponible, accueillant. Chambre confortable, coquette, salle de bain sans baignoire mais avec douche italienne. Tout était parfait! La clim est fort utile surtout avec les records de chaleur à l'extérieur en juillet. L'écran plat ne dispose que de quelques chaines d'infos locales, suffisantes pour se mettre au parfum du monde ou de la ville. Le Wi-Fi gratuit est un bonus non négligeable (très facile à paramétrer dans un téléphone wifi notamment). L'hotel dispose de distributeurs de boissons fraîches et de friandises. Le petit déjeûner à volonté de 7h à 10h est copieux, varié et du personnel veille à ce qu'il ne manque rien. Peu de places cependant (quelques tables). Eviter les heures de pointes ou emportez le tout dans votre chambre. L'hotel est situé dans Chinatown et les boutiques ferment tôt, vers 18h. Il y a un Duane Reade (pharmacie, épicerie) et un McDo à 300m vers le pont pour les achats urgents le 1er soir, et de nombreuses boutiques de souvenirs pour le départ. Le quartier est calme mais c'est Chinatown, donc beaucoup de parfums, de couleurs, d'activités le jour, et peu de lumière dans les rues la nuit. Mais c'est très sécurisé et New York n'est plus une ville où il ne fait pas bon se promener la nuit. Le métro le plus proche est à 200m. A pieds, vous êtes proche de Tribecca, Soho, East Village, Greenwich Village... Le New York tranquille et peu touristique. Ravis de ce séjour au Manhattan Bridge, nous y reviendrons, nous le conseillerons aux couples, aux familles. A ce tarif, cet hotel est la perfection.

Med priset i åtanke tycker jag att hotellet absolut uppfyllde våra önskemål. Stor bekväm säng, tv och stort fräscht badrum. Rent och prydligt och hjälpsam personal. Beläget i stadsdelen China town har man Little Italy, Soho och andra populära områden på södra Manhattan inom gångavstånd. En tunnelbanestation ligger på gatan vilket är ett plus.
