Great room, nice and big with good bath/shower, extremly comfy large bed. Hotel amenities including bar, breakfast and Starbucks were excellent. Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Staff were helpful, with very friendly service in the bar. Didn't try the Gym/Pool but seemed popular. Large Asda nearby.

Big room perfect wish i could have it as my permanant bedroom, comfy bed very clean and one of the nicest places for staff and food

Good clean welcoming hotel with excellent leisure facilities and good breakfast.

Nice hotel.

The hotel is well placed for visiting Leeds. I drove to Morley and went in on the train. The hotel has a large car park. The check in was straightforward. The room was well equipped but a little scuffed. Breakfast was adequate, if a little unexciting. The Hotel is on an industry park so lacks in aesthetic ambience, but handily off the motorway. The leisure club is very good in all respects. All staff were helpful.

This hotel does the job very well. Everything is well maintained, clean and tidy. Service in the restaurant is OK but staff all seem a bit bored. Would be better if they were a bit mode cheerful.

Easy to get to location but not a lot around - perfect for us though as we didn't plan on going anywhere! Spent a nice afternoon in the hot tub (it was relaxing but not romantic - there were back to back kids swimming lessons going on) and watched sports in the pub. Sadly the restaurant was fully booked despite the hotel not being so busy - the menu was good value so I guess the restaurant's popular with non-residents too. The breakfast was good though! Staff helped book us taxis in to Morley and recommended a restaurant and a good time was had by all. Would stay again. Comparing our Upperdeck Room with our friends' standard room, I probably wouldn't bother with the extra expense to upgrade though. Better bedding and Starbucks coffee sachets in the room but no bigger... and no dressing gown to my other half's dismay!

Lovely modern clean hotel. 30 people came to my wife's 40 th and everyone loved it.

Fantastic meal in the Verve restaurant. recommend the chef's specials. Gym is one of the best equipped and maintained of all the Village hotels. Some technical issues with the room spoiled the stay namely poor heating making the room uncomfortable and the soap dispenser in the bath not working. A pain when the only alternative is one over the sink (unreachable from the shower). Overall good value at the rate through Hotels.com but would have been disappointed if rack rate.

Stayed there on business and was a great room and hotel. Loads of staff and great facilities. Would stay there again.

For the money this hotel is not up to the standard of the hotels in Leeds City Centre. Rooms are tired, wine stains on carpet, damaged furniture etc. Breakfast very basic.

It's a De Vere Village Hotel. If you like the chain, you'll like the hotel because it's like all the others. I would stay again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Breakfast was very average. I couldn't change the temperature of the room climate control. TV channels very limited. Complementary tolietries aren't very nice and are big bottles screwed to the wall. Poor in-room refreshments (no biscuits or water).Bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great.

Stayed in room 111. Shower blocked which meant no drainage and a very wet carpet. I should have known as the carpet was wet when I entered the room. The bed had hairs in it, presumably from the previous guest. Hairgrips on the floor. I reported the problems to reception.

Staff at this hotel as excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Only issues I had we're with cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. Our room was very dusty, dust everywhere. Also the bathrooms needs re-sealing, discoloured seals aren't nice to see. Overall enjoy our stay, breakfast is great.

Very basic Toiletries and tea-making facilities.

Friendly welcoming reception .We had a bedroom on the 1st floor facing the wall of the leisure centre which made the room very dark. Could have been cleaner, there was a thick layer of dust on all the surfaces. One night there was enough .

It was very pleasant, very up-beat hotel,modern.

I ahve stayed at Village South near Leeds before, everything from pool to bar, restaurant and rooms is excellent and always the same standard, all Village hotels are excellent and I can highly recommend.

Generally typical Village Hotel - high quality theme, helpful staff and great leisure facilities. This particular site let down by poor cleanliness in the room - very dusty, carpet not well vaccumed, walls with several splash markings from (maybe) fizzy drinks.

everything we expected from a devere, as we have stayed before at devere we knew the quality which is why we booked it, the only thing to be improved is the cleanliness: the gym carpet needed a good hoover it smelt musty as a was lying on the floor near the powerplate when i looked could see it was dusty under the plate, could easily be cleaned i thought, maybe it would be good to close the gym at 9.30 so it can have a good hoover instead of closing at 10, the room also could have been a little cleaner when we arrived there was hair and a torn off piece of plastic on the floor in the bathroom, and the wood shelf behind the bed looked like it could have done with a wipe. Everything else was to our total satisfaction. Apart from 1 puzzling thing, my dressing gown went missing off my bed never to be found again?????

Great hotel, staff friendly, breakfast fantastic, great facilities. Only tiny gripe was the double bed was rather small for us, me being 6ft 4 19stone and partner being 6ft, and we couldn't get a twin or king room. Overall, a fantastic hotel

Very dark room with poor lighting. Otherwise Hotel functional

Convenient, good value, clean and comfortable. Staff polite and helpful.

V good value, BUT..... Gym didnt open until 8am and breakfast 8am also, so had to miss out on both as was leaving next morning, as is usual at 7.30am latest. Wont stay again as need my gym and breakfast in mornings.Otherwise v good. D

The hotel looked amazing from the outside but rooms were ok. Shower was very weak but cleaning staff were amazing. Good hotel overall limited room service options.

Stayed after friends wedding reception nearby, perfect end to a perfect day, had a deluxe room - nice view of the motorway but didn't spoil a thing!

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was really well presented and modern and the bed was really comfy. The facilities were all excellent and the gym was great. Food was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Excellent location for visiting Leeds Football Stadium. Very pleasant rooms & modern bathrooms. The rooms were a little dark as was the overall feel of the hotel but not in an opressive way, just trying to make it more contemporary. Lovely fire in hotel lobby, great food in the Grill and breakfast was superb with a very good selection of hot and cold foods, although the conveyer toaster could do with replacing. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the leisure facilities pool, sauna & steam room & changing rooms were excellent. Didn't get a chance to use the gym but I am sure it would have been great too judfing by the standard of everywhere else in the hotel. We were there over St Patricks Day & Mothers Day and although the hotle was busy we were still able to use the facilities comfortably and did not have to que or wait to be seated for dinner (although reservations recommended) or breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again next time we go to watch Leeds play at home.

Booked this hotel at the last minute for a much needed night away. Room was comfortable and clean, although the shower was more like a trickle than a monsoon. Pool and gym area were clean, but note that on Saturdays the pool can get quite busy with children having swimming lessons! Not a pool for relaxing, but there was a great jacuzzi which was quite large, as well as a sauna and steam room. Generally a good night at a good price.

It was the 3rd time in 12 months we have stayed here. I am sad to say this time it didn't quite fulfill my expectations, Just little thing like the shower screen was not cleaned properly and the bathroom didn't feel as clean as it could. The breakfast was excellent as usual. The staff a very helpful too. I will have to consider if we would stay again or try somewhere else

The hotel was excellent value for money, as we purchased an advance special offer rate for a Sat night in early Jan. We were able to check in early on the Sat (11am) and front desk service was good. The room was modern, stylish and well appointed. We also used the gym which had lots of equipment. The only negative was breakfast service on the Sunday. The staff were not very attentive and we had to ask for milk for cereal, plates for hot buffet (they had run out of hot plates so ours were stone cold), no milk was provided with our pot of tea etc. Overall though would certainly recommend, didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on that aspect.

Hotel was very busy with Christmas Parties but expected level of service was maintained. Bedroom 103 was not the best as it faces a concrete wall and there is no view. Poor room lighting make adjusting temperature difficult but staff were very helpful. Mattresses need refurbishing
