Best Western Broadfield Park Hotel - روكدال

The staff at this hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready on arrival so we were given complimentary tea and coffee. We were given instructions on the best local points of interest. This hotel is in an old building with a lot of character so expect some creaking floorboards. Would stay there again.

What a find will be staying again, great hotel, charming and clean . Great Breakfast and great service, this was all unexpected, its the only place to stay while in rochdale, just a short walk to the city center..Wifi in the room.. downside, TV to small, pillows not soft.no other complaints. great stay great place a real find..Its a place I highly recommend..thankyou

Nice hotel, very old features, wood panelling etc. Only spoilt by the tram upgrades in the area, you cant hear or see them but it makes getting to the hotel a bit of a pain.

Quite the nicest UK hotel stay I can remember, lovely old building but spacious room (dble for single stay) comfy bed, nice white towels and gleaming bathroom. The food was good too, dinner on a par with a good pub meal, and plentiful - especially the cooked breakfast. Wide range of snacks available, and the fish & chips were hot and well served with fresh veg. But as always it comes down to the staff and I cannot speak to highly of all those I came into contact with - they were all great. Apart from the fact that there was no way to control the heat in the room, I find no fault. Highly recommended.

Lovely building which considering its age is kept very well. Room had everything I need. Bathroom appeared to be refitted and was done to a high standard. Bed comfortable so had a good night sleep Free Wifi. I try to avoid hotels that do not offer this service. Only let down was breakfast. Instant coffee not proper coffee and no fruit i.e. grapefruit, prunes etc. Did not have the cooked breakfast due to health campaign but it was cooked to order and looked and smelled very good. Very friendly staff, very friendly welcome. Only think they forgot was to ask me if everything was OK with the stay when checking out.

As some of the other reviews say, this hotel is a little tired round the edges, but they are clearly working to improve it. The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying again as I have family in the area and have been looking for the right place to stay. I have already recommended the hotel to my daughters.

I booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. Very friendly helpful staff, couldnt do enough for my family. We were made to feel comfortable and at home. I find it impossible to write anything negative about this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone who will stand still long enough to listen. From my boys a big thank you for making their first stay in a hotel by themselves (18,16 years old) one which they are keen to repeat. I will be booking again next year.

The Hotel is a beautiful building set in well maintained gardens and directly opposite Broadfield Park. It's not well signposted from the main Rochdale Road but luckily we had Sat Nav. There was a member of staff chating to the Receptionist when we arrived and didn't move aside for us, just continued with her conversation. Once we got to speak to the Receptionist she apologised for keeping us waiting and quickly checked us in with the usual questions about dinner, early morning call etc...... We had managed to secure the last room which in hindsight should have been a warning sign!. The room was directly at the top of the stairs and above the reception so a very noisy night. There were 2 vagrants in the Hotel's front garden as we ventured out for the evening , begging for money and cigarettes, and when we politely told them we didn't smoke they became verbally abusive! Not the Hotel's fault but their responsibilty to make sure the guests are not harrassed in the Hotel grounds! We were awakened in the early hours of the morning by the headboard falling off the wall, luckily not hitting either of us but did disturb us enough to prevent going back to sleep! The room was relatively clean, however there were a few stray hairs in the bath and a damp patch on the ceiling could have been repainted. On the whole, I guess we got what we paid for but dissapointed as we usually have a far better experience at other Best Western Hotels we have visited

A fomer Victorian building that is being refurbished, this hotel suffers from various problems: * Awkward access to rooms on the second floor, via a twisting route and a narrow staircase between the first and second floor. * A dining room that is a garish mix of stark modern decor and old-world chandeliers and antique prints. Generally unwelcoming. * Suspect maintenance - the toilet seat in my room was fixed on only one side. * Pretty limited dining menu. I ordered paté and it came with two thick slices of french bread that had been toasted till they were almost rigid. The apple pie dessert was close to tasteless. If possible, find somewhere else to dine. * The staff were generally friendly and helpful and the hotel's location is quiet, although when I arrived the school next door was chock-a-block with parents arriving to collect their children and access to the hotel car-park was a bit of nightmare. * Overall, a hotel that for all its apparent style was very much a curate's egg.
