Location great, staff anticipate your needs, facilities were good, but the building is old. price is a little on the expensive side, but u are in a main part of the city on a busy clubbing street, surrounds are very nice lots of green and next to a park

Overall - Very good. Location is fantastic. Hotel environment was cozy and homely. Room is great with a pleasant surprise that there are no doors to the bathroom. Staff are very helpful, except for those non service staff were less that polite. Some disappointment was that staff at the reception were not familiar with intercity travel/tour logistics and there is no in-room dining/snacks service available.

Nice place by xuijiahui park, other facilities are limited. Recommend to stay if you want an experience staying in the French concession area. There are places with better facilities for the price.

Overall was good, only one comment was the room quite warm since the air conditioner not working very well. Further, the taxi was not sure their location.

The room is big enough and it is worth to stay there. The breakfast may need to improve further.

I checked in there late, the suite is interesting, not really fancy. If you tried to experience old shanghai, it could be a good idea. But it is just fine to stay once and get some experience. Breakfast is poor, not so good.

The room is very large and comfort, and it is very quiet although outside the hotel is a busy road. Near to the hotel is a park. It is very convenient to take MTR in Hang Shan Station.

The hotel is really nice but looks used and not so clean as before .. Anyway love this hotel , I have stayed there many times and I will still come back... The rooms are big and comfortable , but looks a bit old and used .

The room is big and the room decoration is nice. Good location. Only 5 mins walk from Heng Shan Road MTR station. Will stay in this hotel again. However, the front desk staffs are not that friendly. No smile n feedback when we greeted with them.

Under staffed, front slammed phone on me 5 Times reason not enough staff. Did not have rooms for me when I checked in inspire full settlement to hotel.com a week ago, check in took 1 hour, eventually gave me a room 2nd level that was not made up. Note they never vacuum mats hence left overs spotted. Also sheet are not changed daily. Quickest room service on earth. Lower floor room walls n sofa set looks stained. Half the bulbs not working, toilet got choke in 2 nd day. Need I go on... Stay away!

If it wasn't for the surly service of the restaurant staff and the fact that my wife had money taken from our room then I would be happy to recommend the hotel to people visiting Shanghai. As it is, I will not be booking in there again despite the comfortable rooms and good location.

Loved the style and location of the hotel - would go back there again. The breakfast (which is actually at the cafe next door) was OK... you don't have variety (eggs and ham/bacon and toast), but if that is the only thing to not come up to expectations - then I'm OK with that!.

I saw review of gallery suites, not just from hotels.com but also on trip advisor and the pictures looks amazing, so decided to give it a try! And I was not disappointed! The room is as exactly as the photos on the website. The place is lovely, clean, only fault will be there is not enough hot water in the tub. A great pity as the tub is the main special point! But, I guess I could have it fixed, just that I was only there for a night so i didn't want to bother with the hassle. Staff are great, love the french concession, just might be a bit of a walk, maybe 10min walk from the MTR, but still good enough! Will definitely return there again and try the tub!

Wonderful boutique hotel. Large rooms... CLEAN. Easy access to the subway. Only negative was the breakfast (served at a cafe attached to the hotel). ...first 2 days were great... third day the waitress's friends came and began smoking during our meal. ...they stopped when I asked them to stop... and began smoking again near the end of our breakfast. ...It's a personal preference, but I prefer to not have smoke while I am eating. Other than the smoke on ONE day...We will 100% stay here again.

The Gallery Suites Hotel was a hidden gem.. it's facade is a 1920s heritage building. It's a charming value-for-money boutique hotel. The biggest plus are the rooms - they are massive. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is clean and spacious too, with necessary amenities provided. There's also free wifi which is a big plus. Cons are lack of catering service - the breakfast cafe doesn't belong to them... couldn't even get chopsticks for my takeaway! No pool or gym either and the concierge service is extremely minimal. Walls are rather thin too, i could hear next door guests walking around with their shoes on. The hotel is in the French Concession area and a short taxi ride away from the main streets where you can find some of Shanghai's coolest bars and restaurants. There is a nearby metro too but taxis are plentiful, cheap and convenient as long as you can give them the address in mandarin.

1/17/2011, was so cold in Shanghai, there's no hot water, the water is even dirty with yellow color. We contacted the service desk many times and no solution. Limited people on duty. Hot water comes out next morning, however, the experience is terrible.

@ Gallery Suites is well located in the French Concession area. It is 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station and there are numerous clubs and restuarants within walking distance of the hotel

静かさを求めるならぴったりのホテルです。地下鉄の駅から衡山路の街並みをほど良い距離を歩けばホテルに到着。ホテルマンの対応も良くチエックイン・アウトともにスムーズでした。金額的に十分なパフォーマンスで次回は食事つきで滞在したいと思っています。

交通位置很棒，鄰近環境也很棒，酒店服務人員有進步

離開時遺下一對拖鞋在洗手間，幾個小時以後打電話去詢問，清潔人員說見過但已扔掉了，太快了吧？揀到東西是否應該保留一段時間客人可能會回來取呢？

It's a good hotel but quite far away from the MTR stations. If you want to have night activities, ie, club, bar, it will be good choice. If you would like to have shopping easier, it may not be a good choice.

這是我第二次住宿經驗，相比第一次住宿經驗，這一次整體有滿意。飯店的地理位置不用說，徐家匯公園旁，地鐵站走路5分鐘內能到，又位於街道充滿文化氣息的衡山路。可惜的是飯店房間的保養維護。第一天住308，因為晚上下雨，早上起來看見床頭上方有漏水的水痕，房間的沙發有點髒；第二天要求換房，本來告之603，後來換房前通知603也有問題，換到601房間也不錯，浴袍有破洞，提供的浴巾有點舊，往浴室方向地板有一塊凹陷，表面看不出來，走過去就會陷下去。服務人員的質量比上次的經驗有提升，所以整體對我來說瑕不掩瑜。

Impressively spacious room with artistic decoration in a characteristic historical building. Staff at the frontdesk is nice and helpful as they let me check-in in the early morning, much earlier than my scheduled time. Location not bad, hotel situated in the center of 5 metro stations of Line 1, 9, and 10. Just 10-15 mins walk distance from any of them. Also 15 mins walk from Xujiahui commercial and entertainment center with different shopping arcade, cinemas, and many dinning places. A 3 mins walk from hotel can also reaches the Xujiahui Park where you can have a refreshment there. Consulate of the United States is situated in 15 mins walk from the hotel. Surround environment is Okay, although the hotel is situated next to a road, but sound isolation acceptable. Breakfast buffet at the 1/F is acceptable, but choices are limited, probably due to limited number of room in the hotel.

대체로 방도 깔끔하고 위치도 좋았습니다 주로 자기만 했기에 다른건 모르겠고 룸은 만족ㅋㅋ

The room is nice and big, they're trying some fragrance in the room, the smell is good. Bed is excellent. Breakfast is also not bad, they've made some improvements according to the manager. Quite a number of good shops - accessories & boutiques - in the area.

1. 앱상의 지도와 실제위치가 대략 1.5KM 차이남. (블럭자체가 다름) 2. 앱상의 전화번호 등록되지 않은 정보임. 3. 결국 걷다가 지처 택시를 타고가는데 기사가 발음을(호텔주소) 알아듣지 못한 상황에서 계속 호텔이름을 대라고 함. (겔러리 스위트 ㅠㅠ...) 4.고만고만한 서비스 But 주변환경은 보석같았고 앤틱한 실내와 정돈된 방은 가격대비 우수하였음...

不過浴缸沒熱水出來,感覺放好看的,希望他們能改進!!!!

房間典雅寬敞，窗外梧桐樹風景宜人，非常滿意。可惜早餐服務未盡周到，不能錦上添花。

飯店距離地鐵雖然有段距離，把步行的距離當做散步，也不錯。房間設備不錯，睡得也很香甜，如果飯店早餐能夠豐富而更多樣化，那就更好了。

The hotel is really nice but looks used and not so clean as before .. Anyway love this hotel , I have stayed there many times and I will still come back... The rooms are big and comfortable , but looks a bit old and used .

Har boet mange gange på dette herlige hotel, men det trænger snart til renovering. Alligevel er man ikke i tvivl om at man vender tilbage gang efter gang.. Værelserne er alle unikke og store med et herligt koloni agtigt præg men samtidig ret trendy. Kan varmt anbefales .

천정부지로 치솟는 상해물가를 감안할때 호텔닷컴에서 제시한 특별가는 분명 매력적이었지만, 호텔이 갖고 있는 부티크(?)한 매력과 소형호텔만이 보여줄수 있는 친밀한 서비스가 부재함으로써, 오히려 '오래전에는 매력적이었겠구나'라는 아쉬움만 남는 호텔이었습니다. 그랜드 스위츠 룸은 그랜드하기는 했지만, 너무 춥고 썰렁해서 오히려 콤팩트한 넓이였으면 하는 아쉬움이 있었으며, 고객을 방관하는 듯한 직원(단 한명)의 태도는 여행 첫날의 설레임을 사그라들게 했습니다. 동일 가격이라면 차라리 체인모텔이나 관광지와 더 연결성이 좋은 호텔을 택하는 것이 현명할 듯.

房間設計很特別，一進門有驚豔的感覺，只是房間浴室和客廳中間沒有遮蔽，對於兩位女生一起住的我們，有點小尷尬。

room are big enough, worth it!

雰囲気も良いし部屋も広い。とても気にっている。だけど、ハウスキーピィングがとても朝からやってきて、うるさいし態度が悪い。忘れ物をしてすぐに連絡しても絶対になくなる。気をつけてください。

Først og fremst store rom til en lav pris. Men langt fra det meste, merkelig lukt på rommet og så som så med betjeneing. Hadde betalt for frokost inkludert, men fikk det overhode ikke.

服務態度佳，地理位置較不方便，市中心但離地鐵站遠。房間擺設不舒服，家具風格....沒有風格，空曠乏味的令人住起來不舒服。清潔度，不優，上一個房客使用過的衛生用品散落在床邊，洗澡腳踏墊像是陳年老物，感覺不乾不淨，下次不會再住了。
