Very nice stay - maybe not the heart of Montréal but really only minutes away + close underground stations If I had to quote an issue it would be the slowness of the lift (which is not an issue !)

This hotel is a real bargin for such a great location. It is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. It is one block from McGill University and the art museums. The kitchen is very small but adequate. The balcony is small but cute. The indoor pool is large but the roof terrace is very small and no shade or chairs. Breakfast is good with lots of fresh fruit. There is a laundry room with pay for use machines but great so you don't have to pack so much. The taxi stand is right in front of the hotel if you need transportation to or from the airport.The biggest problem was the very slow elevators. They are small and the maids use them for their work in the mornings. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

We went to Montreal for the first time to spend a weekend there. We've got everything we needed to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. The hotel was very clean, very conveniently located and quality of service was very high. Definitely recommended! You'll get the whole apartment for the price of the room. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, balcony, and continental breakfast - everything is included! If we go to Montreal again we will stay there for sure.

My family and I were in Montreal for McGill graduation. We had 2 studio suites, 1 2queen sweets and a one bedroom suite. The stay was wonderful. The continental buffet does not work for us meat eaters (smile). The building is under construction and the elevators are tiny. All absolute minor issues. Great location, easy access to EVERYTHING. Superior staff. We have used other hotels on Sherbrooke within walking to McGill. le'Apartment is by far the best value for luxury!

We had 10 family members in Montreal for our daughter's graduation from McGill University, including my 94-yr-old mother. L'Appartement Hotel was perfect for us. We had 3 apartment/rooms. The staff was very accommodating with giving us rooms on the same floor. The location was perfect. We rented a wheelchair for my mother from the pharmacy next door. And it was an easy walk to the ceremonies and to much of what Montreal has to offer. The equipped kitchens in our rooms helped a lot. We could have some meals in our rooms instead of paying to take 10 people out. The convenient location comes with the price of noise. It is on an extremely busy street. Also, construction made parking at the hotel unavailable. It was inconvenient to have to park at another hotel.

Apartment is spacious and comfortable enough for 2 persons. Cozy room setting. All rooms including bathroom and kitchen were very clean. Excellent location in terms of shopping, supermarket, metro station, supermarket, taxi availability - all within 15 min walking distance. Lively neighborhood because of its location close to McGill university. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Am likely to stay at the same hotel if I am going to visit Montreal again!

Good hotel in a very good location....One of the challenges is the usage of the guests elevators by the hotel service staff which make it difficult specially during busy times...Breakfast hall is usually very crowded and to move around at the buffet set up is not easy....there should be a ramp for guests with special needs to access in and out of the hotel...nice stay .. Thank you

Very comfortable.only suggestion in when we are in the breakfast one of the staff on that place was coughing look like she was sick . It is not a good sign to eating place.

Perfect for exploring the Old City and festivals, all within easy walk. Bargain for a family and can save on meal expenses with use of galley kitchen as dining out with every meal can ring up quickly. Don't plan on parking on premises with anything other than midsize sedan as overhead clearance restrictive. Other sites are provided but nearest across the street underground and not convenient to loading/unloading baggage and there is no space available immediately adjacent to hotel. As of 5/12/13 exterior renovations in progress that are quite noisy and block entrances to a degree. Balconies closed during work. Pool refreshing. Some exercise equipment and sauna but no hot tub. Sun deck. Staff courteous and helpful. Elevators small and slow. Would stay again.

Though they were working on the front of the hotel, this is an excellent place to stay in Montreal, especially for a longer stay. Most (all?) rooms have a small kitchen in them, and ours had 2 separate bedrooms, but aside from that, the place is clean, convenient and well-appointed, with a pleasant staff, very good continental breakfast, and accessible parking right across the street. Overall, a very good value in Montreal.

No complaints. We were two adults, two kids, and stayed 3 nights. The kitchen and kitchenware were highly appreciated. The hotel is downtown, close to restaurants, a grocery, and two metro stations. We walked everywhere. There was construction going on, which made it a bit noisy during the day but it's temporary. Breakfast was satisfactory, with bread, pastries, cereal, good coffee, fruit. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and responsive. Highly recommended.

My hosts at McGill did not know about this place to stay so close to campus. The pool and rooftop patio are welcome extras

The staff was very friendly, great location, the rooms with kitchen allowed us to cook and eat there Internet very good even in the room I will come back here!

The breakfast was rich and pretty good. The parking space (in the building basement) is actually pretty limited. We managed to get a parking spot but I guess it would quickly fill up. If you are planning to drive there, you may want to call in advance reserve a spot if possible. The kitchenette has both microwave and stove, there are dishes, mugs and silverware but actually no pots and pans. That was actually according to the room description, so it was no surprise. I think it's just worth remarking to keep in mind in case you need to cook something.

This hotel is in a great location for easy access to downtown and the St Denis, St Laurent areas. While comfortable this hotel is showing its age and requires some updating. Staff are very friendly and bilingual. Breakfast was just right.

Hotel was great. Good price and convenient location, free breakfast. Hotel parking was undergoing maintenance so we were given parking at the Delta hotel across the street.

Other than the slow elevators and the missing hot tub, lovely hotel....excellent specially for family....in fact, its name L'APPARTEMENT says it all....

It was great!The only complaint I had was the beds were hard.Also, it would be nice to have mats to do stretching and floor excersing on at the pool area.

Only problem was one elevator was kaput, but that didn't prove to be a huge issue. Not luxury, but dollar for dollar one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. And I've stayed at alot. I hope they dont read this and raise prices.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast food was fine (not great) but plentiful. My only complaint is that my room faced Sherbrooke Street and there was a considerable amount of noise on the weekend nights. Overall, I was very satisfied and would return to the hotel.

Great receptionists,very polite and courteous.Good idea to have the same card from the room to open pool area,sauna,etc.Very safe.Beste part of the room is that the heating and air conditioning is absolutely noise free.I have intention of returning to the same hotel in the summer:))

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay and the pool! A couple things you should be aware of: the breakfast is a "continental" not a breakfast buffet. We recommend a suite away from the hussle and bussle of Sherbrook. Lastly the bed is very firm that was agravating my wife's back. Thankfully the hotel was able to install a foam topper.

I have stayed at the L'Appartement before and I am sure I'll stay there again. My dissatisfaction with this particular stay had to do with being on a very low floor (my fault, should have asked for a higher one) and the fact that the central air conditioning system was inoperative, the only room temperature on offer being 25°C. This was not limited to my room, a colleague on a different floor reported the same situation. Coupled with the fact that the hotel across the street was full of college students on spring break, this made for a sweltering week - opening a window not being an option.

The cost is reasonable. The suite is great. The breakfast area is nice. Having to walk down an icy hill to get to the parking at Delta though is a pain. Didn't try the pool.

We have stayed at this property a few times when visiting Montreal. Spacious, comfortable, good location. The apartment like living is nice if you are visiting Montreal for more than a couple of days, especially when normal hotel rooms start feeling cramped.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Receptionists were really friendly and gave us good tips about restaurants ... The rooms were clean. We had plenty of towels. We would definetly recommend this hotel.

First of all, I need to say how great the staff was. This website somehow double-booked my reservation and I didn't catch it at first. This being a somewhat last-minute booking, the time that I could cancel was running short. The hotel actually saw it and called me to point it out. Saved me a good deal of money. This was a comfortable stay. The rooms have great little kitchens, so if you want to cook and eat in, this is a great place to do it. Great downtown location, pool was fun with a view from the top floor. Would stay here again.

wonderful comfy room, balcony and windows that opened and a well stocked kitchen, felt like an apartment not a hotel room. The pool was lovely and view was great!!

Some of the furniture (couch, armchair) in our room needed updating
