Sea Gull Inn - مندوكينو

OK - it wasn't the McCallum House; it wasn't 'upscale'; it had no phone, no tv or radio. But it was a lovely, cozy room in a small quaint b&b, and exactly what we wanted. Definitely a one person bathroom, REALLY comfortable beds, and very nice, helpful people. Make sure you walk around their gardens! Definitely exceeded our expectations.

Very personable host & staff. Great breakfasts, and the room is beautifully appointed. There is a lovely garden. The lighting is excellent, unusual for a lodging. Highly recommended. I have stayed in perhaps 4 different places in Mendocino. For location and comfort, this has been the best.

The Sea Gull Inn was a needed respite from our day of driving along the coast. It was adorable with clean, comfortable rooms, a great yard, and a delicious breakfast that is cooked fresh and brought to your room every morning! If I am ever fortunate enough to end up in Mendocino again, I will DEFINITELY be staying at the Sea Gull Inn!

We were on a drive up the California and Oregon coasts and spent 2 days and 1 night in Mendocino. We had never been to the Sea Gull Inn but were delightfully surpised and pleased with our stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the room & bath were even better than described, and the breakfast delivered to our room was awesome. It is in a great location and we would definitely stay there again.

cost was a bit high, but commensurate with the area

This B&B is in Mendocino, overlooking the Pacific on the northern Cali coast. The views are stunning, and the host was pleasant and gracious. However, the B&B is a rebuilt Victorian (1880s house). While comfortable enough, you'll only get your money's worth if you appreciate old (antique) furnishings. Even so, don't expect the period theme to extend to the bathroom. Instead of a massive claw-footed tub for your ablutions; you'll bathe standing up -- in a shower stall. Our grown daughter called it a "grandma's house," and she liked the stay. My wife and I were less pleased.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sea Gull Inn and I'm looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Pretty good location to the local pub and next to a very delicious restaurant. Bathrooms were a little snug, but did the job. Room was spacious and breakfast was a nice touch. Parking fills fast in the afternoon, so it's prob best to either walk about or move your car after hours. Overall, satisfied with my stay!

I stayed the room, Sea urchin. The room was nice and cozy but smaller than I expected. It's kind an attic. The ceiling was cut as the roof goes and there was only shower, not bath tab which was disappointed me:(. The next morning I called the front whether how I can get breakfast, then he took it to my room! That's a good service but the portion was small. just muffin, coffee, yogurt which is so tiny and orange juice. The manager was super friendly and told me good restaurants and view points around there.

I would recommend this B&B to all those people that like the Mendocino enviroment and spirit, and don't expect luxury accomodations but just a cozy and comfortable room with romantic surroundings.

The cozy "Shed" unit of this inn is one of the most moderately priced in a relatively expensive community, which we found was because of lack of a shower. Otherwise, it was immaculately kept, surrounded by intimate gardens, and served with a tastefully prepared home-cooked breakfast served in the room. The hosts are extremely courteous and helpful, and the inn is just a few steps from the center of town.
