We booked this hotel for its location to train station to allow us to travel into Paris before moving on to Disney. We were only using the hotel for one night and had booked a family room to accomodate 2 adults and three children. When we arrived we were advised that they were fully booked and had given us two separate two double bed rooms, one for the adults and another for the children but that they were opposite each other. When we went to our rooms we found that they were actually 50 metres apart. We decided to place one parent in each room with the children as werent comfortable leaving them in a room alone but couldnt use one of the rooms as it stunk of cigarette smoke and didnt want to subject ourselves or our children to this. Although polite the hotel staff had no solution to our concerns and so we felt forced to all cram into one room which was uncomfortable to say the least .

This was our 2nd stay at City Residence. We had a 2 bdrm apt complete with kitchen. The staff were friendly. It is conveniently located. 5 min walk to RER. 8 stops to disney in one direction and 8 stops to Paris in the other direction. Fabulous little bakery in train station where we got our morning pastries and sandwiches for the day. Grocery store right around the corner. The apt could use a really good scrubbing but the toilets, showers and sheets were clean. That's what mattered the most to me. For the price, it can't be beat.

When we first arrived to our room, we walked in and there were 2 pigeons inside. The window was left wide open and the whole entire apartment was covered in bird poo. The kitchen area, the beds, tables, absolutely everything. We went to the reception area and told the receptionist.We asked if we would be able to be moved to another room and she said that everything was full. After waiting for over 30 minutes, she went to clean our room and came down stairs afterwards to tell us it was ready. We went in and she had just wiped off the bird poo off the bed sheets and thoroughly mopped the floor. With no other choice, tired and hungry, we had to turn the bed sheets and pillow cases inside out. Also the TV was not working and there was no pillows for my children that were sleeping on the sofa bed.

Our group included my 2 year- old son, my sister and her 8 years-old twin boys. 5 of us really enjoyed staying at City Residence Bry sur Marne. It was difficult to find a hotel for 5 people together. Finaly I found it wonderful because of enough facility, space,cost and a distance from Paris and Disneyland. We chose T2 type which had one bed room and one living room with a sofa bed. Both beds were enough size for us. The rooms were not fancy at all but simple and clean. I didn't expect modern style bathroom but I needed a shower curtain at least. Bry sur Marne station (RER A line) was only 5 minutes walk. At the entrance of the station there was a bakely. We enjoyed fresh-baked bread every morning. To the center of Paris it took 20 minutes. To Disneyland it took 20 minutes.It was really convenient. We were with small children and thought safety was important. The residence was in a residencial area so peaceful and safe. There was a big supermarket called Inter Marche which was only 5 minutes walk. We couldn't dine at a nice restaurant but enjoyed very nice ready made food and champagne. At the residence there were fridge, microwave and dining table. It was nice to dine there. When I return Paris, I will choose it again.

1/ Opening hours - from 8am to 1pm and 4pm to 8pm only. Make sure arrive after 4pm for check-in and told them if after 8pm otherwise expect a nightmare dealing with hotel staff. 2/ Parking - told by staff side street parking is free but got a ticket returned in the evening. Complained to them the following morning and was told parking allowed in the morning or afternoon only, but not full day. Hopeless hotel staff. Best to park at the hotel car park for 5 EUR per day. 3/ Room - Lightbulbs were gone in a room. Reported but no action. Asked for additional blanket and no action taken either. Basically, if you are lucky to get a perfect room and arrive between 4-8pm when the hotel is staffed then would be decent stay otherwise avoid this hotel as much as possible.

Good base for both Paris and Disneyland set in a nice area. This is an apartment that is comfortable and clean with facilities for basic cooking. Very pleased with the room and would certainly go again. My only reason I did not give it top marks was that the reception staff could have made a bit more effort as you got the feeling you were disrupting their day and some advice both with maps and a helpful recptionist may have helped our first trip to that region both in our first attempts to get around and saving money on the train.

We stayed in a studio apartment and were glad that a king-sized bed was given. The room and toilet are clean. The hotel is also close to the train station and it is convenient to travel to city.

far away ,difficult to find , very BAD service , never again.

City Residence Bry sur Marne is located in a quiet suburb of Paris and it is 15minutes from Paris. • We found the hotel really clean, comfortable and family friendly. • We had 3 bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. • There is large supermarket 2 minutes walk from the hotel, selling really high standard fresh food. • Its local train station is 9 stops from Disneyland. • We highly recommend the hotel.

I must say, "what you pay is really what you get". This hotel or supposed to be hotel is one of the worst I have seen in my life time experience of hotel bookings. The customer service is appalling ( the lady that handed me the key had so much attitude it was unbelievable was in a rush that she didn't explain how to use eveything), the area is about 40 minutes by taxi to Paris it's self and surrounding store?, what surrounding stores there are none! Lets just say I would rather lose the money that I paid then stay in the hotel. I ended up not canceling the hotel as I was only in Paris for a few days and didn't want to waste anymore if my time in the hotel. I rebooked at the hotel ibis. That I could say was the best service you can get. Cheap, reliable, 24 hour service, friendly staff. Please don't fall for the pictures that's what I did biggest mistake ever.

We stayed there for 4 nights and in that time our room was not cleaned once - the bins were overflowing, we were given 2 bathtowels to last the whole week & one roll of toilet paper! The people in the reception area did not appear very approachable. Despite the bad points, the hotel is good for a budget traveller. It is cheap and 5 minutes from a train station and supermarket. The room has a microwave and fridge so you are able to make your own meals.

Comfortable bed and bathroom, enough space for a family vacation to Paris. Could have been cleaner, kitchen could be better stocked, it is not the Ritz, but not a bad place to stay. Parking is €5 per night though.

I only stayed for one night. I found my room to be clean and comfortable. There is a small kitchen, fridge and stove (no microwave). The bathroom and shower were fine, clean towels, hair dryer, no complementary toiletries. There was also nice closet space. The place is appropriate for a stay longer than 1 night. The hotel is just outside of Paris, so it's not on the metro map, but it is just off of the line (I think it was A4) and around the block. The hotel is not open for check-in 12-4, which was very inconvenient, but someone did open the door for me and allow me to leave my luggage in a locked office, which I found to be very accommodating. The surrounding neighborhood is a nice place to walk around, it feels safe, and there are a few general stores and coffee shops. Internet is not free. There's a TV.

this hotel is a nice comfy stay, around the corner from the metro station-super convenient. a market place around another corner. you feel like as if you are really living in Paris. its safe with 2 doors that you need passcodes to enter. there is a slight hassle with the reception opening times, or else youll be stuck outside waiting for them to open up. altogether, it s nice :)

Very convenient for train station into Paris

Good size room.Good facilities e.g TV, kitchen, microwave. Only 3 minute walk away from train station. In walking distance to the local shops and takeaway. Friendly staff. Safe car park available. Not as clean as I expected it to be but overall good value for money and I would recommend it to others! Enjoy your stay!

The hotel is in a quiet town just outside Paris. Our room STUNK of cigarette smoke, but after a couple of nights of airing it out and using air freshener it was fine. The room had many useful things like a washer, kitchenette, sofa, microwave, fridge/freezer, and TV. There was a really gross coffee pot that we did not feel comfortable using, a very old and used skillet, and a pot for boiling pasta. One plate, 3 bowls, 4 mugs, and several juice glasses, and utensils. No dishwashing liquid, washing powder, or coffee filters provided. The continental breakfast was NOT included and was expensive (found that out the hard way). Staff is friendly and helpful. The owner speaks English but I don't know about the rest of the staff because I spoke to them in French only. Internet is extra and not available in all rooms - we had to go to the lobby each time we wanted to use it. Maids do not come take trash or refill toilet paper unless asked. Hotel is within walking distance of an RER station - you can buy a weekly/monthly pass which you can use for Metro and RER trains and therefore get from this hotel to anywhere in Paris.

great location for the train station which goes right into paris and straight to disneyland too. the hotel was comfortable although our appartment had a stuffy smell to it, once we opened up the doors etc it was ok. the carpets were stained throughout the place. i actually booked 2 appartments but they took it upon themselves to book us in to a 2 bedroom appartment that sleeps 6 people so we didnt get much privacy this was slightly annoying as nothing could be done because the place was full! it is a good base to do the sight seeing experience of paris though and overall it was clean and comfortable. only french tv aswell.

This hotel could have been charming. Small apartments with patios or small gardens attached, and parking in the basement. But something has gone terribly wrong. Our apartment looked like it had recently been robbed. The only furniture was a large number of beds. There were a total of 5 double beds, almost randomly placed. There was a bed and a fold-out couch (dressed for the night) in the livingroom, and upstairs there was one bedroom with 2 double beds jammed in (and a headboard attached to the opposite wall) and another room with just a headboard--no bed or other furniture. There was a bathroom on each floor, but both were dirty. The bed and bath linens were clean, but not much else. The floors were filthy, the walls were all stained, and there was a giant spiderweb in the livingroom. We tried to touch as little as possible, and left promptly the next day.

While this hotel is conveniently located to RER station, the amenities available in Bry-Sur Marne are pathetic. The only grocery store in the town closes by 7pm, there are no decent restaurants to eat out and there is only 1 ATM machine in walking distance ot the hotel. Also, the room surroundings were not quiet till past mid-night with partying noises. It is only good for using as a base to travel to Paris City (about 30 mins away).

The place was dirty. The apartment and surroundings were not acceptable at all. We didn't end up staying there and found another place closer to Paris. Don't go to this place.

Everything went as expected. I have arrived in a Saturday evening, around 8pm and had to phone the hotel to get the security code to get access to the apartment. Good room size! Family friendly (2 adults - 2 children). We have enjoyed our stay. Recommended. Great value for money The only thing to note is that there was only one toilet paper roll in the apartment and We have arrived there on Saturday evening. It is very hard to find any markets open on Sunday so, this was a bit of a problem.

Very good if you are looking to a place to sleep and take showers when in Paris for vacation. Small but very clean, 2 minutes walk to train station, kitchen in the room and a grocery store a block away.

It is near to the metro/RER station. The appartment is not properly clean,ants is everywhere. We get pillow without pillow case, asking for the pillow case and didnt get it until our last day. The sofa bed is unsafe where there are broken leg. Too noisy until late night around 2pm.

These apartments have a convenient location if you want to visit both Disneyland and Paris city centre. They are quite clean and comfortable and secure. IMPORTANT - make sure you phone or email the reception in advance if you will be arriving after 8pm, otherwise you will not be able to access your room, as reception closes at 8pm sharp and there is nobody on the site to help you.

We chose this hotel as we are a family of 5 and could book an apartment. First impressions were that it was very basic and a bit old fashioned but as we were only using it as a base this did not worry us. It was in an ideal position for the train station, it took about 20 mins to get to Paris and the same to Eurodisney. The town of Bry sur Marne was lovely with plenty of places to eat and a supermarket should you want to cook for yourselves. We only stayed four nights and were out most of the day so didn't really use kitchen facilities other than for breakfast. Would recommend this hotel as a base it had all that we needed with free parking underneath. If you're at all fussy and going for the luxurious this place is not for you but for the price we paid we had a great stay.

Mis à part les toilettes qui sentaient vraiment mauvais et le pommeau de douche qui mériterait d'être changé, la chambre était tout à fait convenable. Une lampe de chevet serait sympa. Le lit par contre était très confortable.

Plutot mitigée... en effet, l'hotel est plutot bien placé, dans un environnement sain, mais l'hygiene n'est vraiment pas leur point fort !!!! En effet, de la moisissure sur les murs, et au niveau des joints de baignoire, , les murs sales, il y avait des lames de parquets manquantes, et les bouches d'aeration etaient obstruées par la poussière et la saleté... Sincèrement, pour ce prix là, je n'y retournerai pas !!

J'ai du changer de chambre, car la douche ne fonctionnait pas (pas d'eau). La seconde était très bien mais il aurait fallu une deuxième couverture, elles arrivaient le lendemain de mon départ. Sinon, l'ensemble est bien, j'ai remarqué qu' il y avait beaucoup de tâches sur le canapé. Lesgens soient un peu plus adultes et un peu plus soigneux. Sinon, les prestations de la petite cuisine sont excellentes.

Hotel mal entretenu, trés sal. Accueil froid, manque de materiels prévus dans la chambre distribués seulement le lendemain pour une seule partie des choses le reste le surlendemain grace a un coup de gueule.

Je vous recommande cet hôtel pour le charme de sa situation, le calme, vous serez agréablement surpris d'avoir un appartement à votre disposition, serviettes fournies, savons, gel douche, salle de bain avec des proportions tout à fait correctes, coin repas avec tout le matériel pour manger.N'hésitez pas si vous l'avez choisi ! Vous ne serez pas déçu!

Zeer goed gelegen bij RER waar er een gratis parking is (als men er een plaatsje vindt). Wel goed opletten bij een aankomst buiten de gewone daguren: niemand aanwezig, niemand te bereiken, zelfs bij het noodnummer neemt niemand op. Er is dan een kluis met de sleutels voor de laatkomers, maar als je de code niet kent... Het appartement was zeer verzorgd en volledig uitgerust met een klein keukentje. Geen lawaai.

Bon hôtel, pratique pour séjour de quelques jours à Paris ou Disneyland. Hôtel proche du RER A donc accès à Paris centre très rapide. La propreté des chambres est moyenne (carrelage de douche et rideaux un peu sales), on ne capte pas toutes les chaines du cable mais le lit est super confortable. Les pièces ne sont pas très bien insonorisées donc il faut prévoir des boules Quies pour les plus sensibles. Cependant, ça reste un hôtel sympa !

Recomendo pelo preço.Recomendo pela excelente limpesa de toalhas, lençois e pela tranquilidade. Fomos cinco pessoas.O apartamento é muito bom. Tem máquina de lavar roupa e também de secar,frigorifico enorme,fogão, televisão na sala Não recomendo pela limpesa das escadas. Não recomendo pelos transportes para zona do Peuraux ( informarem-se muito bém sobre os horários do RER e se pára onde precisam que pare.

Fui com meu marido agora em dezembro/2011 e fomos muito bem atendidos, o quarto foi ótimo, grande, com uma varanda enorme, fica bem localizado, meio longe de Paris mas tem uma estação de trem (RER) super perto e fica há cerca de 20 minutos ou menos de Paris. Tivemos problemas com o aquecimento da água, a caldeira parecia não estar armazenando água, reclamamos mas como parecia estar vazando não deu jeito, tomamos banhos curtos pra resolver, não foi um grande problema. As atendentes são educadas e solícitas, ajudaram bastante indicando o supermercado, shopping e etc mais próximos do hotel. Como depois ainda iríamos para Roma, pedimos para deixar as malas grandes, (na verdade estávamos de mudança pra China e passamos alguns dias na Europa antes de mudar) porque voltaríamos para pegar o vôo pra China em Paris e elas foram super atenciosas quanto a isso, colocaram nossos nomes e guardaram e nada foi mexido, inclusive pedimos pra deixar novamente no ultimo dia depois de voltar de Roma, pois o vôo era só 23h e o check out 11h e não tivemos prblemas. Recomendo, é muito bom!

Bien dans l'ensemble, établissement neuf mais qui se dégrade vite, traces noires sur les murs, revêtements de sol dans la salle de bains qui se décollent mais la présence d'une vrai baignoire est appréciable, grand lit confortable se garer à proximité est un peu délicat donc prévoir de prendre une place de parking pour 5€ de plus

bij aankomst moeten wachten, sleutel kwijt. Zeer vieze kamer. Uiteidneljk andere klamer gekregen. Bleek 's avonds dat er gebruikt/vies beddengoed op bed lag en slaapbank krom was. Niemand meer te bereiken. Dag erna zou alles opgelost worden, niet dus. Dag 3 eindelijk manager gesproken: heeft problemen opgelost: nieuwe slaapbank gekregen. Laatste dag lek wc. Hebben dit gemeld. Werd echter niet echt op gereageerd. Hoop voor de volgende dat probleem opgelost is. Geen aanrader.
