Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach - دبي

من المحتمل تمامًا أن يكون فندق سوفيتل جميرة بيتش هو أفضل فندق قد أقمت فيه. كان كل شيء فيه رائعًا بدءًا من العاملين المبهجين وحتى الغرف الفاخرة وحمام السباحة الرائع. وقد أحببنا موقعه أيضًا، فهو يقع على الجهة المقابلة للشاطئ وقريب من المطاعم والمتاجر. وكنا نستطيع الوصول سريعًا إلى أي مكان آخر نود الذهاب إليه بواسطة السيارة الأجرة. لقد جعل فندق سوفيتل إقامتنا في دبي رائعة بالتأكيد!

كان هذا الفندق يقع في منطقة رائعة في الجهة المقابلة لشاطئ جميل وبين مجموعة من المطاعم. كان الفندق يتمتع بجودة عالية جدًا، فقد كان نظيفًا للغاية وكان العاملون فيه رائعين. وكان العيب الوحيد هو عدم اكتمال حمام السباحة (في أوائل شهر أكتوبر 2010)، لكن تم تزويدنا بحقائب كاملة تضم مستلزمات الشاطئ وهي البساط، والمنشفة، والمياه للاستمتاع بالشاطئ المواجه للفندق.

وكما ذكرنا سالفًا فقد أحببنا هذا الفندق بالتأكيد. منذ لحظة وصولنا بسيارة أجرة إلى المدخل حيث تم استقبالنا استقبالا ملكيًا. وكان العاملون رائعون ومطلعون على جميع المعلومات المتعلقة بالأنشطة التي يمكن أن نقوم بها والأماكن التي يمكن أن نزورها بدبي. وكان تصميم الديكور استثنائيًا، وكانت رائحة الفندق بمجرد الدخول إلى البهو رائعة ونظيفة ومشجعة. ولو حاول هذا الفندق تقديم المزيد فلن يجد ما يفعله، لأنه قد قدم بالفعل أفضل الخدمات الممكنة. ولن أتردد في نصح أي شخص بالإقامة في هذا الفندق، وإذا عاودت زيارة دبي فسوف أقيم فيه بالتأكيد. وبالرغم من أن حمام السباحة كان خارج نطاق الخدمة أثناء إقامتنا (أكتوبر 2010)، فقد بذل الفندق قصارى جهده لتوفير الحقائب المزودة بمستلزمات الشاطئ كما ذكرنا سالفًا. وكان الشاطئ يبعد عن الفندق بمسافة 50 مترًا فحسب، كما كان يتمتع بجودة عالية. فخر حقيقي لاسم سوفيتل.

إنه مكان رائع يقع مباشرة بالقرب من شاطئ رائع.

Ice Hotel, friendly staff great location for relaxed leisure. Lots of cafe's and restaurents just across from the beach. Great pool area. Nice walk to Dubai Marina. A bit out of the way for business. Balcony small but rooms are great, great bed.

I love this hotel, it is well located, great rooms, lovely service and good value. No private beach but a minutes' walk from the beach and the hotel provide beach mats and towels. I love staying here, it is one of my favourite hotels in Dubai.

the most comfortable beds ever! we had a club room which is great value as you have free drinks and snacks.amazing views from our room.hotel i in great location.we will be back!

The prices of this hotel are similar to 5 star hotels but for sure it is not in the category. I was disappointed to see that the bed sheets and duvet were torn. They had holes in them. The room was small for the price charged. It also lagged few basic amenities such as iron and ironing board. The television remote was not working and we had to ask for a battery change. The room service was however prompt. Overall it is a 3/4 star hotel next to the sea in the best location of Dubai. In case beach side is not a priority, you can find better 'hotel apartments' on the other side of Sheikh Zayad road at 1/4th the price.

Worst food I have had in a while, fish was cold and when we sent it back it came out colder. Risotto was more raw than al dente. We complained to the manager and got nada in return.

Excelent hotel and staff service was fantastic. The location is perfect with everything within a short walk so you will not need a car at all. If you want to go to one of the malls or even back to the airport the hotel provides transportation. I suggest for the extra $$$ you consider a suite because the views are forever and the club room amenities easily cover the extra $$$.

Beautiful lobby, extremely helpful staff, very nice rooms. We did not try the restaurants. Pool area is small but nice. As for location, Dubai is bigger than you think, but taxis are inexpensive for exploring.

Great hotel. We enjoyed every minute of our stay

A high standard hotel, excellent location at the walk and good service.

The hotel and staff are excellent, we stayed there in January 2012 and found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The location was OK but there is a one way street outside (not the fault of the Hotel of course), that caused considerable delay if you were to travel by car to other locations in the evenings! The Hotel resraurant on level P3 was very good and there were loads of cafes and restaurants to choose from within walking distance of the Hotel.

we stayed 3 nights. great staff, easy access to beautiful beaches, right in the middle of a busy and touristic street. if we go back to dubai will definitely stay in there... staff very attentive to guests needs. definitely recommend it

I only stayed 1 night on my wat from Europe to Pakistan. Really nice hotel with a good gym!

Just returned from 4 day break at Sofitel Dubai and would thoroughly recommend it. Our room (luxury) was perfect with lovely balcony overlooking the beach and the palm. Bed was sumptious with amazing linen. We were celebrating our silver wedding and they had put red roses all over our room and bathroom along with 2 kissing swans on our bed made out of towels! So thoughtful. All the staff we met were professional and so helpful. The pool was wonderful and we found no trouble getting sun beds. Short walk over to beach and the walkway at night was lively, full of restaurants and very safe. Perfect resort for short sunshine break.

I found Sofitel hotel a standard average hotel not a luxury hotel and I was not satisfied with the service. I will highlight here few points which leads me to this rating: 1. Room size was too small. 2. There was no luxury facilities in the room (For example: No main electronic control panel for lights, curtains, call room service and etc). 3. I have called the concierge two or three times in differnt times and no one was picking up. 4. I did not notice any hospitality from the staff of the hotel which you usually find in luxury hotels where you have a butler accompany you to your room when you arrive for the first time and serve you whenever you need it. 5. One of the hotel staff rang the door, and when he opened the door I discovered that he wanted to check the mini bar! 6. One time I have entered the room after room service finish the cleaning and found the iron lying on the ground! Finally, if my expectations were not high when I made my reservation in this hotel, these observations would not be that important, but the rating from previous guests and the designation of hotel as a luxury hotels made me wait for  more than that. I will not compare with other hotels, but Sofitel Bahrain is much much better than  Sofitel Dubai!

We booked this hotel as it was a good rate and the reviews were excellent. The hotel was in a good location, the rooms were clean and a good size with our own balcony - and the bed was the most comfy I've slept in for a long time. We had a small problem with our shower which was fixed immediately and without having to chase. The only drawback was the size of the pool area - the hotel is quite big and there are not enough seats for guests wanting to use the pool (plus it's very shady in the morning so gets no sun at all), so we had to use the beach every day. This was fine as we were provided with a beach pack containing towels, bottled water and a mat to lie on. My suggestion would be that the hotel places sunbeds on the beach for its guests to use as these would have been much more comfortable. Aside from that, the hotel was in a great location with choices for dining out either at local restaurants or other hotels. There were taxis available whenever needed and the hotel staff were extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again if I was looking for a nice hotel at a competitive price.

Fantastic hotel in Dubai. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable with great added extras like Nespresso machine and chocolates.

I had a one-night stay at this hotel during a trip over from Qatar. The staff were excellent, I was able to check-in and access my room much earlier than the official time, they also arranged a late check ou to match my flight time, and to top it all my room was upgraded! The location is great, but traffic in the evenings along the beach-front can get very congested and so be prepared for a few delays

Very nice hotel,in a very good area of town.

We took a weekend trip to Dubai and after much consideration, picked the Sofitel as our residence for the short stay. The hotel was just lovely and the service was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This hotel is about 15 minutes away from the Malls and Souks. Cabs are easy to find right outside the hotel so that wasn't really a problem. We enjoyed being close to the beach and seeing the water out of our hotel room window.

First class hotel. Staff were charming and stylish (I particularly liked the flattering black dresses the female staff wear) and the room was a home from home. Food was well prepared and came in so many options. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and will stay again when back in UAE.

I was amazed by the location of Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, which is in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). It's my first time to JBR, and I really liked The Walk in JBR with the restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. The only disadvantage I can think of is that Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach has no private beach.

A top hotel in a busy location. The location right on the beach is a bonus which provides a splendid backdrop to the hotel pool. Staff are well trained and attentive. A sea view room is worth the extra if applicable. The downside would be the traffic, particularly at peak times, very slow moving and a real pain if you are looking to get somewhere else out of the Marina area. I also did not like the sports bar, again the staff were very good but the place was dead.

Stayed for 2 nights, I think the room was the best I've ever had. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Have to catch taxi to shopping centres but not a problem as you need to from anywhere in Dubai. This hotel is beautiful and the pool is the best! Lookout on to palm island frpm infinity edge pool amazing!

Excellent location right near the beach, very helpful staff, 5* all the way. very near to main Jumeirah Beach Residence / Walk, the main strip for all restaurants / coffee bars etc. Highly Reccomended

I stayed in Dubai for 6 days. First 3 days I stayed at Hyatt Regency in Deira. I almost immediately started disliking being in Dubai. Everything was FAR and Taxi costs were as high as the high rises in Sheikh Zayed Rd. Then I shifted to Dubai Marina @ the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach.. And right from the outset, I fell in love with it. The staff, the location, the rooms, the ambiance, almost everything was great. I had previously only booked one night, but then immediately after arriving I extended my stay one more night.. I would highly recommend this place to any tourist. Fantastic location, away from the busyness of the city yet accessable to almost anywhere in dubai.. Nearest Metro station is a minimum cab fare (10dhms) away. It is walkable, but NOT in the dubai heat. Bus / Shuttle services very frequently to all major malls of dubai and a lots of restaurants and standalone stores close by. Great place, Great experience.. 100% Recommended..

Just an amazing hotel in a fantastic location with so many wonderful eateries around. My wife and I would certainly go back to the Sofitel in Jumeirah Beach and certainly recommend it highly.

My husband and I visited recently (July 2011) it was a pleasant experience. Staff were always polite and willing to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Check in did take a little time but the staff were very apologetic. We were upgraded to a full seaview room, which was very nice. Location was brilliant, right on Jumeriah beach walk would highly recommend the BBQ delights restaurant right outside the hotel too!!! Overall a good five star hotel!

Very safe location In one of the most wealthy areas of Dubai You will see Ferrari's rolling up and down the strip in front of the hotel

Deaspite having our room vacant this Hotel charged us for half a day because we were early ie 9am. Not recommended for Australian's as the flights arrive early in the morning. We also left early in the morning so they could then make some more money by using our room Would not stay again!

Flawless stay - with complimentary upgrade - except that the previous guest had smoked in the room (a non-smoking room).

This was my third visit to the hotel and I was looking forward to it very much as the previous two occasions proved wonderfully relaxing: great beachside location and good fitness centre. However, and despite my writing down my preference for a certain room type in my booking email (namely that it be quiet in order to rest), I was unable to get such a room and instead was put in 717, which is both close to the elevators and to the road ie, noisy. After repeatedly explaining this to reception, I was finally able to move the following day to a better room on the same floor, where I remained for the further 6 days of my visit. Initially reception was not responsive to my requests to move rooms and only did so when I said I would move hotels. Poor attitude, and particularly unsatisfactory as on my previous visit, I'd had very good reception service, with the lady in question even putting me into the room where I had stayed on my first trip. Unfortunately, this person was away during my third visit, however the same level of service should be accorded and particularly to a return guest such as myself. I work in the region and frequently pass through Dubai and hence was looking for a hotel that I could use - and recommend to others in my organization - in the years ahead. Unfortunately, I now feel unable to make this recommendation and will stay elsewhere.
