Stayed at this hotel overnight. It was a but pricey, but you pay for the location! It's smack dab in the middle of Center City. You can get to everything.

hotel used to be a fire station not what I expected. Would not stay there again!!

I would go back. Great value.

The staff was super helpful, the view from the room, gorgeous. Super convenient location for many sites. Bed was sloping toward the middle.

The interior design effortlessly blends historical and modern, although the rooms are on the smaller size and, as expected in old buildings, the corridor layout had a few twists and turns. The location is good, in the heart of Center City and near all transit.

Elegant hotel near City Hall in a repurposed building. The only fault was that our room had a window facing the interior courtyard and thus lacked privacy.

The hotel was very modern and spoke high quality. Since we were in the city the view was of a wall but that was ok. There do have other rooms and we were out most of the time. Like many hotels we could not adjust the air conditioning and that made the room a bit hot. Overall great experience, nice bar, nicer restaurant.

This hotel is in the perfect location for a conference in the convention center. Everything about the hotel itself was good. I would definitely stay there again.

Nicely designed hotel, great furniture in the room and cozy bed. Lobby bar comes alive at night. Enjoyed it until we came home after a rainy day and were locked out of our room. While we were away during the day, the front desk checked other guests into our room. They were given keys and entered our room. After seeing our suitcases, they alerted the staff, who also entered our room. Everyone had been in there except us. The staff apologized, but we felt weird the rest of the stay, and kept the deadbolt locked in case it happened again while we were in there.

The hotel is right in the middle of Rittenhouse Square and downtown Philadelphia. But the floor plan of the former YMCA is very confusing--we had to make 3 turns to get to our room. And for a hotel that charges such a high daily rate to impose a further charge for wireless in the room seemed outrageous. Didn't mind the lack of breakfast--though plenty of similarly priced competitors offered complementary breakfast. But a large expensive big city hotel really needs either a pool or complementary access to a pool for my repeat business.

This hotel is right downtown and close to many of the sights we wanted to see. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

As a Hospitality consultant, this place was a filth hole. A dark dated and dirty Lobby Greet the guests with a dirty shower, sheets, towels, mirrors and sink top it off in the room. The room has cheap plastic cups and the amenities are so small I could barely wash my half bald head. The room had paper thin walls with connecting doors that rattle every time a door is opened. The cleaning staff will just walk in without knocking so lock the doors. The concierge was the front desk personnel. Polite but not trained to answer questions. Parking is an additional $48 per night and they double billed me. Stay at the Marriott around the corner. It is newer and clean but still the same staff issues.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the train and the major areas in Philly. They were all walkable distance, however the neighborhood didn't feel so safe after 10pm. As for the room, it was a small size compare to most hotels. However, it was just my boyfriend and I. Therefore, for the space given, it was a decent room for just the two of us. Not so great if it was for a family trip. One downside was the internet. For the price we paid, we did expect to have free wifi, however there was a subcharge which did sucked.

This was my second time at Le Meridien, but my first time travelling for business. It's a beautiful hotel in a great area, and the staff is very friendly. I was disappointed, however, to see that there was a charge for internet (again, travelling for business), while lesser hotels happily offer free WiFi. My colleague and I were also frustrated by the fact that we had reserved a room with two double beds, but were placed in a room with one king and told that the hotel was sold out and there's nothing they could do. Not a matter of life and death, but it was pretty frustrating.

There were hairs all over our room - the sink, the bedspread, the floor, the pillows - and it appeared to be a really shoddy cleaning job. The room was a tight space, barely enough room to walk on the other side of the bed next to the window and my wife and I had to contend with hitting our heads on a "mod"-style lamp. The bed was made with an ill-fitting flat sheet, not even a fitted blanket, and only had a bedspread for a cover - no sheets. The shower was nice, though, and the staff were fine. I'd give high points for the location, but that's more my contentment with Center City, not this hotel. And they nickel and dime you on everything: internet fee, exorbitantly priced parking, even a plastic bottle of water was pricey. Check out the other hotels south of Market Street. If you get a deal here, you're going to pay for it.

Other reviews said that the rooms were cramped and claustrophobic but I felt that the amenities and service provided by the hotel more than made up for tight quarters. I probably wouldn't want to stay there for more than a few days while traveling on business but for a recreational stay it was more than sufficient for the price. I would recommend and definitely look at staying here again next time I visit Philadelphia.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Really surpassed expectations.

i was there on business. The hotel rooms are small, no additional seating in rooms except bed and an uncomfortable desk chair. I was disappointed that there wasn't a sitting chair in the room to relax in after a hard day working. The lobby gave an unnecessary "to good for the average person" vibe. At best this hotel is average with a better than average attitude.

I was impressed with the Le Meridien. More for couples but family friendly and great service. Location was great, central to everything. Only a few blocks from terminal market which is great. We also went to a Sixers game and the Art Museum, both a short drive. Parking garages a few blocks away but you can use vallet service for a little bit more.

Great hotel, very trendy/contemporary. Not quite Ctr City, but close enough that you can walk easily to places like Reading Tml Market, etc.

We stayed at the tail end of our trip before heading back to NJ. Overall the stay was pleasant but the rooms were pricey for what you get.

The hotel is very attractive and inviting. The room stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The staff friendly, helpful, and professional. Very convenient to just about everything. Overall a good experience.

Stay here regularly for business. Always feel comfortable and well-cared for.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is beautiful with a modern European aesthitic. Our room was clean, comfortable and very roomy for a family of four with extra winter luggage. The staff were all warm, friendly and helpful from the maids, bellhops, valet and desk clerks. This was our first time to visit Philadelphia but I can't imagine a better location. It was an easy walk, even in cold weather, to all the sites and places we wanted to go. There were so many great places to eat too! 

I had a great stay, I wish it was longer. Hotel room was nice, clean. Staff was very accommodating. My only complaint would be the amount of fees in the roomservice. A chicken sandwich and bottle of water was almost 40 dollars? Thats what we get for ordering food at 2am.

My wife and I are regulars.

The hotel is lovely but polished. if you want a small, yet refined place near the Convention Center or city hall, it's great. Staff was quite helpful. They even sent someone out to buy contact solution for me because it was so cold out.

We spent 2 nights there for our MLK trip. The hotel is very nice, clean and location is super convenient. They charge for in room internet, but you can use business center. I truly liked the design and ambiance. You will definitely enjoy this place!
