The Waterfront Hotel - الجزيرة

Spent 3 nights here in April in seaview room on 6th floor. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Good location for Sliema and a short bus ride to St. Julians. Close to ferry crossing to Valetta, boat trips, tourist and local buses. The service in the hotel was good, we ate in the breakfast room every day and in the next door restaurant one evening as well as the adjoining cafe. We drank in the bar a few evening and the happy hour from 5-7 came in handy! We would visit the hotel again.

The hotel and room were nice and clean and the quality of service was good. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and cafe all reasonably priced. Lovely view from the seaview rooms but the road below can be a little noisy but it is worth it for the view. The hotel is located just a short walk from Sliema where you can catch the ferry to Valletta or enjoy one of the many boat trips. The only bugbear was the mattress in our room could have done with changing as it was sagging in the middle but you still got a decents nights sleep. This was our second visit to this hotel and we would go there again.

The Hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with all our queries, The buffet breakfast was excellent, also the restaurant on site was very good. The only downside was the traffic noise from the very busy harbour road.

Was only there for 2 nights on business, only issue was the wifi in my room was poor quality and kept dropping the signal. Apart from that the hotel staff were excellent, breakfast was good and was well worth the cost.

The Waterfront is handy for getting into Valletta easily, and getting to St Julians and Paceville. It was comfy and had everything we needed, including parking which is a bonus. Could maybe do with a bit of a revamp in the rooms but everything was clean and functional.

great hotel very helpful staff food very good buffet in the evening is the best value in malta if you can avail take it good location bus stops to go in either direction valleta or julians bay all sea trips and tour buses 2 minuites walk will definately return to waterfront

jag är nöjd med allt framförallt priset

El hotel esta genial, con vistas a la bahia y La Valetta de fondo, fabuloso. El baño quizas algo viejo pero nada mas. Muy limpio.

Bonne hotel. Juste des petits details. Bas de porte salle de bain bois endommagee. Mini bar systeme froid ne fonctionne pas, manque des serviettes apres le service de chambre dans la salle de bain. Mais hors ces details l'ensemble de l'hotel est tres bien le service aussi et le personnel est tres professionnel.

Spennende land med interessant historie, mye å oppleve for å lære landet bedre å kjenne. Gode off. transportmidler, busser, og gode tilbud for "hopp på og hopp av". Hotellet, Waterfront var nærmeste nabo til hovedgata, 4 feldt, i Sliema. Dette førte til stor trafikkstøy, spesielt tidlig på natta. Holels.com burde ha opplyst om den sterke støyen på sin nettside. Vi hadde valgt et annet hotell, mer vekk fra støy, dersom dette hadde vært opplyst. F.eks. Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa i Attard.

Spazieren und Flanieren, dieses Hotel ist wirklich am richtigen Ort, bringt aber auch sehr viel mit, z.B.: angenehme Zimmer, freundliches Personal, ein Büffet der sich gut präsentiert, und alle Vorteile betr. Busstop, Taxis, Schifffahrten usw. bringt, und das alles vor der Haustüre.

Hotellet er nok Ok, men kedeligt. Vi var der bare alt for længe 7 nætter. 2-3 nætter bedre. Dårlig lugt på værelset. Men Malta generelt er kedelig. Skal ikke der igen

Der Empfang im Hotel war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer im 6. Stock super - Ich hatte die 604 Richtung Osten. Da oben mit Super-Blick, dann der Pool auf dem Dach (95 cm tief) - Klasse. Frühstück gibt es als Büffett, sehr vielfältig. Schwach war die Kaffeebereitung - Nescafe-Automat in SB. Das Hotel liegt nahe einer Bushaltestelle und einer Bootsanlagestelle direkt Richtung Valletta-Altstadt. Nachdem ich die Hotelschluchten in Sliema gesehen haben, wusste ich, dass ich mit dem The Waterfront Hotel genau richtig gewählt habe.

Bra stora rum med bra utsikt. Bra frukost. Katastrofal frontdesk. Ville inte hjälpa till med något alls.Ex boka bord, kolla fel med taxibeställning, bussnät etc etc.

The hotel is well situated, in Sliema. Access to la Valetta is very easy with the taxi boat (only 1 euros per trip pp). The night life is also in the area's of Sliema and San Julian, very convenient. The staff is very very nice, friendly and helpful. We have rented a car, so it was convenient to visit the island. The Hotel has a very small parking place but it was always full and no reservations are possible, so we have parked across the street with no problem. (easy in Nov, not sure if it is possible during high season). The hotel rooms are large, and nicely furnished. we had a side sea view, very very nice. Some critical points: I found the bathroom not 100% clean, with spiders under the sink and dust on accessories. the daily cleaning is done at a minimum level. The breakfast is a buffet and was included in the price. The quality is medium, we have the impression that they try to reduce costs as much as possible providing cheap quality of ingredients: the coffee is not a real coffee but nescafe, the juice is powder and water, the jam didn't taste jam and had a chemical color.... Overall, considering the price we have paid, the Hotel is still a good quality level comparing with the price.
