This hotel is a joke. The room was dusty and not cleaned. There was noise all night long so I couldn't sleep. Other people banging doors all night and talking very loudly no one seemed to stop them. Reception was like your grandmas parlour full of old dusty pot plants and tat. Wifi didn't work. Staff openly said they didn't want to be there and it showed. We couldn't wait to leave breakfast looked ok but couldn't stand it another minute and left without having breakfast.

Decent place, good location. Business stop, so can't ask for much more.

When you're paying $50 you aren't really expecting much. The lobby, service and hallways were not very satisfactory, however, when you get in the room, you were good to go. It was pretty clean and a bit updated. If you are looking for something decent for this low of a price, I would go here.

Second stay here....clean and people were... Cant beat it for $50 bucks and a mall across the street. Good location.

The pros about this place is that it is conveniently located right off the thruway and northway and is within a mile from a supermarket and many chain restaurants. Also, my room had a microwave and mini fridge which was great. On the downside, the room was not in the best condition. It was outdated, the bedding was not that comfortable, and my sink was clogged. You get what you pay for I guess. Overall, I would recommend this room to a traveler looking for a cheap overnight stay based on its location and price.

This hotel was fine for a stop over while traveling. The front desk staff was great, the room was clean, had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was free and typical, fresh frui, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice and best of all make your own fresh waffles-yum. The staff kept the counters clean and restocked supplies without being asked. (It also had a small gym, if that is something you would be intersted in while on vacation) Down side of hotel was no pool and some minor maintenance issues, toilet dripped and refilled all night long. It was located close to all types of fast food and close to highway 87. Which some might appreciate while others want a more scenic view. We just arrived at 10 pm and left by 9 am the next morning.

Cheap prices and location. Would stay there again!

I have always taken negative comments left by others with a grain of salt. I figured they were being dramatic. I had to leave a comment about this hotel because our room was awful. Our room was non smoking but reaked like cigarette smoke. The scent was overwhelming. There was a puddle in our room. Yes a puddle in the entry way of our room. There was no toilet paper dowel. Around three O'Clock in the morning there was yelling right outside of our window and my wife was woken up in the middle of the night by the people in the next room. Sometimes you get what you pay for. This place wasn't even worth the low price it cost.

This hotel is perfect for my budget. It was close to everything and they had wifi and free long distance phone calls. My room was very clean even though it is an older hotel. I felt safe and comfortable. Also, fresh fruit and cereal for breakfast.

This hotel was better priced than all of the other options in the surrounding area and they are all within minutes of each other (along same strip). Hotel room was comfortable and clean. It is great for a weekend stay!

It was just what I needed: an inexpensive room near the airport so I could get a few hours of sleep and then get my flight with minimal bother.

Fine, not a Hyatt, but clean if a bit faded and a good location to get to the highway. Having the big Mall across the street is an advantage.

Very convenient to Albany Airport. Across the street from Colonie Mall and good restaurants.

The hotel was not bad for what we paid, but could definitely use some improvement. The paintings in the hallways were water stained. After breakfast hours they kept the coffee out if there was any left, but dis not leave any creamer available. Had to ask for it and was told they were not allowed to leave it out. She did get me two half and half which say no refrigeration needed, so why couldn't they be left out. Breakfast was okay for most people. They had muffins, cereal and homemade waffles. I brought my own breakfast down with me since I'm on a carb restricted diet. I was fine with that and my husband enjoyed what they offered. We got there on Friday and had a lot of things planned for Saturday. We came back to get ready foe dinner and no one had been to the room to clean. I went down to the front desk to ask if it was their policy to not clean the rooms daily and she said no. She checked the list from the maid who was on duty and was told that she must have just made a mistake because she put a line through our room #. The front desk clerk was very apologetic, but said the most she could do is give us new towels since she was the only one on duty. The next morning after breakfast we checked out. The person at the desk was very nice, although I was a little surprised that she didn't ask how our stay was. Overall, it was okay, but not sure if I would stay there again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, if simply furnished but the king bed was incredibly comfortable and we were looking for a good night's sleep before flying the next day out of New York. The ;only problem was noisy neighbours

nice desk good room good location to airport would use again

a basic hotel for the right price..this was pretty much you pay for what u get with good customer service i would do it again for the same price.

Stayed for 2 nights for a business trip. I liked the convenient location and easy access to the highway. Our room had a dirty towel in it, but otherwise it was generally clean and satisfactory.

The first room they gave us was not clean (hair on bathroom floor). I told the front desk and they upgraded us to a better room that was clean.

Lamps were crooked. Desks had holes in them. I took pictures of everything when I first walked in to be sure that I was not charged anything for the damage that was there. Bath tub had another persons hair all over it. Disgusting!

Many other hotel chains in the area but this one consistently has the most affordable prices. You get what you pay for. Its relatively clean, safe, quiet and has an on-site work out room. Great value indeed!

This hotel was no-where near perfect, but it did the trick. It was just a plain normal hotel, the room was okay, not dirty or anything, a little small but for two people it was fine. If your looking for a cheap hotel in Albany, it isn't a bad choice. It is right across from the mall and there are a lot of food choices around including IHOP, Cheesecake Factory, PF Chengs, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts, Startbucks. Right next to the I87. Not a bad location

Stayed at worst for more money. Price says it all. Great location!

This hotel could use some work. The ceiling near the window had MOLD and so did the shower curtain. Also, the side door that had the room key slide lock DID NOT WORK, which made it inconvenient to have to go to the front door of the hotel each time. The carpets throughout are very dirty and the hallways smelled like stale cigarettes :( Would not stay there again.

. It is a great hotel. I got a fantastic rate for the weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. The location is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great deal, included breakfast, just a motel of course but I've stayed more expensive hotels that were not as nice. Only complaint it was a little noisy.

Well located little motel, could use an elevator for those with lots of bundles and luggage, which we were, but very nice. Sweel little breakfast and nice furniture. Well maintained and very, very clean. And very, very CHEEP!

I recently visited Albany, NY and stayed at the Travelodge. I must say, that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I especially liked the continental breakfast each morning I was there. There could have been more abundant food, but it was okay with what was there. As for the room, my only complaint was the toliet which had a weak commode and needed to be flush twice sometimes, and the small refridgerator which didn't keep the food or drinks cold because of the weak frost system. Other than that, I enjoyed the Travelodge and would stay there again when I visit Albany next time. Thanks!

I enjoyed my stay. I don't like old tv tho. And hotel smell is not as fresh. Great service and location. Bed was ok. Tile in bathroom was old n peeling. It was ok for the most part.

Breakfast was very good and room was clean and comfortable. Some long hairs were on the bathroom floor whe we arrived...but otherwise O.K.

Our night in Albany was the last night before returning home from a twelve day fall vacation through New England. We wanted a hotel that was close to the airport. The Travelodge fit exactly what we needed. It was a nice hotel and well worth the money. The only thing that was not great was the breakfast the next morning. Was not very good. Other that that I would stay there again.
