Hotel Frank Nahariya - نهاريا

This hotel was in a great location, because the main street and beach were within walking distance. The beds were alright, but could have been more comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by a neighborhood of homes and was a little noisey at times.

I spent a week here in Early December 2011. The hotel is located just a small block or two away from Nahariya's main street, Sderot Haga'aton, making it very convenient. It is about 15 minutes walk from the Nahariya train station, and about two small blocks from the beach. Considering the reasonalble price, I though the hotel was a pretty good value. Breakfast was included and included the typical Israeli smorasbord of breakfast items: Fruit (all canned, none fresh), cereals, dairy products, pastries, vegetables and vegetable salads, smoked fish - not salty or sweet enough for me, no lox, mostly forms of herring, tuna salad -always to die for in Israel (delicious) - etc. One front desk person, a senior woman with dark hair was exceptionally helpful and assisted with a phone call (language barrier on my part) as well as a couple of faxes. Decore was a bit romper-room, with odd colors through out the hallways, though this did not effect he room. In fact, painting was going on as I stayed there so hopefully they are rethinking the hallway colors. The only somewhat sigificant flaw was temperature. Though the room had a heating and cooling unit, it was still difficult to get the room warm enough. Also, the breakfast room was freezing cold each morning. This may be more of a reflection on things in the Middle East in general, rather than a problem with the hotel. I suspect that unofficial heat rationing is fairly typical in Israel

What a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere!! So near the promenade and such a comfy bed. Breakfast was plentiful and such tasty coffee. Worth every penny.

The hotel was very acceptable, with rooms larger than one would find in, say, standard European hotels. Being just a block away from the sea made for a pleasant morning walk. We had little trouble finding a parking spot on the adjacent street.

The hotel is a landmark, having been in business for a very long time. The only complaint I have is that the elevator did not go to our floor. We had to take the elevator up one flight and then walk up a flight of stairs. People with walking disabilities should take extra care to get a room with elevator access.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel Frank. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for the beach and plnty of shopping. I had a beautiful view of the ocean. Next time I am in Naharia I will stay again at the Hotel Frank.

This hotel is what you'd expect. No more, no less. Friendly staff, very clean, breakfast fine. When on a budget: Perfect. Looking for the extra, this hotel may not be your choice. We were very satisfied.

We booked this hotel purely based on hotels.com recommendations, and I think it was our favorite of the 5 hotels we experienced on our Israel trip. It's family owned and operated, but they have enough rooms that you still feel that it's professionally run. The room we were given faced the sea, and it had a decent sized high definition panel t.v. with more channels than the large chain hotels had offered. Having said that, we didn't spend much time watching t.v. We walked up and down the streets of Nahariya and found plenty of restaurants- kosher & non-kosher- with great food and people watching all day and evening long. Nahariya is a neat coastal city- much friendlier and cleaner than Haifa- and the brochures downstairs in the hotel will give you plenty to do locally if you prefer a more structured vacation. Back to the hotel itself: The jacuzzi and bath lighting options were very nice, as was the in-room *free* wireless internet access (surprisingly hard to find in Israeli hotels, where they actually charge per-minute access fees). The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious, and while the dining room was not over-run by guests, the hotel staff still made sure that the food was refreshed as it disappeared (may they excuse our American appetites for Israeli breakfasts). The downstairs lobby/lounge area offered a computer with internet access in case you don't travel with a laptop, and need to book on hotels.com for your next destination, check e-mail, search for adventures, etc. The lounge also opened to an outside patio, surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden. We did not require their conference room, but peeked in at one point, and it appeared modern rather than outdated. We would recommend this hotel to others, and plan to visit Nahariya and the Hotel Frank again on our next trip to Israel, for a refreshing break from more touristy areas.

We requested a room on the first floor and it was organised as per our request. Our room was ideal for a family, It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. The Hotel Frank is very centrally situated in Nahariya. There is parking on the street next to the hotel. We loved being so close to the Mediterranean Sea. An easy walk - around the corner and we were wandering along the beautiful promenade. The hotel is as close to the sea as it is to the city centre. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and observing pretty flowers and well-kept lawns. The dining area is lovely. The breakfast is more than adequate with a wide range of choices for all. We definitely recommend the Hotel Frank and look forward to another visit there.

excellent hotel, excellent rapport qualité prix,à 150 m de la mer personnel affable et sympathique, breakfast copieux et bon . localité un oeu calme, mais bien située pour excursions dans le nord d'Israel Hotel à recommander

bon rapport qualité prix. Petit dejeuné trop tot ( jusqu'à 9h00) et pas beaucoup de choix . Très bon emplacement, propre, pas de coffre fort dans les chambres, ni de room service, attention au pressing excéssif!!! A conseiller si vous y vener uniquement pour dormir. ( ne pensez pas au farniente dans l'hotel). MC en famille

Hotellet ligger tilbagetrukket i roligt kvarter tæt ved strandområdet og byens hovedstrøg. Der er gratis parkering langs vejen. God kvalitet til prisen.

Sauber, freundliches Personal, kleines Frühstück, einen ruhigen komfortablen Umgebung, Strand in der Nähe. Hohes Verhältnis von Qualität und Preis. Nachteil: das ständige leise Brummen, hörbar in die Hälfte des Gebäudes.

wij hebben hier heerlijk geslapen met als afsluiter een goed, verzorgd ontbijt. Ook dit hotel (zoals velen in Israel) is verouderd maar geen kapotte spullen in de kamer/restaurant

Das Hotel liegt nahe zu einem schönen Badestrand (Eintritt) sowie Bars und Restaurants. Lage in einer Nebenstra0e, sehr ruhig, netter Garten zum Aufhalten, freundlicher Empfang und gutes Frühstück. Gepflegtes Hotel zum Ausspannen, Angebot entspricht absolut dem Preis.

Hotelli on aika vaatimaton mutta rauhallinen ja palvelu on ystävällistä. Jos joku haluaa uima-altaalla lojumista niin se ei tässä hotellissa onnistu, koska sitä ei ole. Hotelli on kuitenkin aivan uimarantojen läheisyydessä. Sijainti on minulle sopiva koska se on aivan keskustan pääkadun lähellä jossa sijaitsevat kaupat ja ravintolat. Nahariassa on panostettu rantapulevardin rakentamiseen. Sen varrella on ravintoloita ja tietysti uimarannat. Hotelli sopii rauhallisuutta arvostavalle. Siitä pääsee muutaman minuutin kävelyllä em paikkoihin. Voin suositella.
