Fairmont Pacific Rim - فانكوفر

I am sure we will stay again at this hotel. The restaurant was fantastic--perfect. The only complaint I have is that the housekeeping staff was a bit stingy in replacing amenities--that shouldn't happen at a 5 star hotel. But the view was great, I had a fantastic massage at the spa and the hotel room was lovely and quiet.

Amazing but parking was much too expensive. $45 for 1 night stay

Just had my second stay at the Fairmont Pac Rim and it was once again a fabulous experience. The staff and service are amazing, the rooms are gorgeous, and the amenities are superb. Highly recommend this hotel, it has quickly become one of our favorites. Just another note, we felt it is very kid friendly too. Room service provided a small robe for my son, he loved the pool and TV in the bathroom. In addition we felt very welcome in bringing him into the lounge area. Enjoy, you'll love it!

Great position to walk to Marina, restaurants, Stanley park etc and comfort, friendly staff, lovely views as well. What more do you want?

I have been traveling for over 30 years, both business and pleasure, and this was truly the best experience I have ever had! The staff is exceptional: friendly, informative, and go the extra 10 miles! I couldn't believe the genuine friendliness of everyone, the exceptional food, and the beautiful surroundings! I will be back!!!

We stayed at the Harbour View Suite room for new years eve but when we got there we were facing the buildings and not the harbour so were very disappointed about that. Also we couldn't bring our luggage up in a caddy, they had to deliver our luggage in a different elevator. The Wifi was not free in fact it was 15$ which I think is ridiculous since this is a 5 star hotel and you can get free Wifi pretty much anywhere! Other then that the hotel is beautiful, and the staff was amazing.

We enjoyed the hotel and services, therefore decided to come back again, location is perfect, service is very good, hotel is very clean.

Lovely hotel with top notch service. My only complaint is that the designers went a bit too high tech on the light switches -- over engineered and more complicated than necessary.

It was an amazing hotel. The staff were very helpful. The room was amazing and so comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nites and absolutely loved it! Loved the service, the moderness of the room, the electronic mirror tv in the bathroom, nightly turn down service w complimentary bottle of distilled water. Also very close to downtown Vancouver and to Canada Place & station. Highly recommend hotel

The hotel is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. We had a wonderful suite that overlooked the Harbor and had a terrace with a table/chairs to have breakfast and be able to see the beautiful view from. The hotel is modern and decorated in beautiful woods and marble. Very lively lobby lounge/restaurant that had live music every night and plenty of people of all ages to enjoy it all. The concierge was very helpful every day in helping us select what and where to go. LOVED the hotel and will definitely go back again!!!

There are three Fairmonts within a few blocks, so be careful to select the one you wish. The Pacific Rim location is very "metro", modern, comfortable, and safe. The welcome at the door and front desk is what we typically enjoy at St. Regis. The concierge is professional and knowledgeable. 30 minute scenic walk to Stanley Park and Aquarium, 10 minute walk to any type of food and five-star shopping you want. The Imperial, across the street, has outstanding Chinese food and dim sum. Italian, Japanese, and other cuisine is also near. The Robson Street shopping district is much more spread out than I thought - it's actually about eight blocks by three blocks, with concentrations of high-end and moderate shops sprinkled around. The Fairmont Vancouver is located in that district, so if the River is not necessarily what you want, the FV is a better location. Warning, it is NOT as advanced or modern as the Pac Rim. I prefer Pacific Rim after experiencing it. The two doormen that I met at Pac Rim are just about worth the stay. They are the guys wearing black derby hats. They can tell you anything. I mean anything. From where to find the best single malt scotch to what sport events are in town. For American visitors, if you haven't visited Vancouver, here's what it is like for a summer visit. Think Manhattan, at 70 degrees, only MUCH cleaner, MUCH nicer people, MUCH safer, and the most beautiful scenic drive in two hours to Whistler. The downside is no theater, less sporting events, and without the vast shopping. Overall I prefer Manhattan in spring, Vancouver in summer and winter.

We only stayed 1 night, and complicated things on arrival by switching rooms with friends we were travelling with. However, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was very comfortable with fabulous views over the harbour from our bathroom and on crawling out of the gym the next morning, I was immediately handed a bottle of water, towel and banana by one of the front of house staff. How attentive is that?!! Would love to stay again!

Friendly service, extremely accommodating in fulfilling requests and making reservations for local restaurants and activities. Outstanding staff. Extremely comfortable rooms - beds are particularly comfortable and bathrooms are luxurious. Can't wait to return.

Our stay was just amazing. The service is really excellent, staff is warm and welcoming, the hi-tech room is extremely confortable, the view was magnificent (harbour mountain view)... Luxury is everywhere. Light years away from 4 stars hotels like Hilton. Very expensive, but really, really worth it. The best hotel we ever stayed in.

It was a great hotel . One of the best I have stayed in . Everyone was very friendly . The only knock I would have about the hotel is not having the access to my car with out having to go thru vallet service . I found the cost of vallet service to be a little to high . This hotel is a five star hotel in all areas .

Loved, loved the hotel

This hotel is wonderful! The staff, location, amentities, and overall ambiance was fantastic. The lounge is a great place to start your evening out on the town, the Concierge take great care of us, close to pubs, nice restruants and within walking distance of great places to shop. We had one BIG mis-hap with house-keeping, the hotel was very apologetic and usually I am not one to say anything. Even with this big mis-hap we would stay again because of all the great service and ambiance. Absolutely loved this place.

Friendly, attentive, helpful staff. Fresh modern decor. Beds were comfortable. Room was roomy. Fixtures were gimmicky. Halogen lighting and automated drapes were nice, but all controls were on one touch-sensitive panel with tiny, faint illegible labels. Shower door and faucet handles were wobbly. Swimming pool was too small -- unpleasantly overcrowded as soon as 2 children arrived. Too shallow -- only suitable for laps, not deep-water running. Lobby bar was lively but far too noisy in the evening, especially when a country & western band turned downtown Vancouver into the Calgary Stampede. The noise travelled all the way up the elevator stack. Walls between rooms were inadequately sound-proofed for a 5-star hotel.

Stayed here for a recent architecture conference held across the street at the beautiful new Vancouver Convention centre. The Fairmont Pacific Rim is a beautiful hotel with a great modern roof top pool that overlooks the green roof of the convention centre and the waterfront. The interiors are modern and finely detailed. Location is great too with easy access to waterfront trail and downtown.

This was a beautiful, chic, modern hotel with superb service. The concierge was very helpful, making arrangements for a haircut, recommendations for dinner, loaning umbrellas on a rainy night. There was great live music in the lobby lounge every night I was there. There was a small error made in my room service dinner and the charge was removed from the bill and someone came to the room to apologize in person. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathtub wonderfully deep. My one small complaint was the lack of storage/closet space. I had a wonderful stay for four nights and would return in a heartbeat.

My girlfriend and I went their for our Valentines Day weekend. We absolutely loved the hotel and the service. The room was beautiful and very clean and "modern." The concierge and service was excellent. They have a beautiful lobby and a wonderful bakery/deli next to the lobby that has great food. It's located on the waterfront and is very close to Robson St. Just an all around great experience and while we were there we were already making plans to stay there again.

We were very impressed with the property and will definitely stay there again. The highlight for the kids was the TV in the bathroom mirror. The beds were extremely comfortable and having the heated pool and spa accessible from our room was brilliant. The room service menu was good for all the family, the cafe also catered well for kids and the foyer bar was great for the adults. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the courtesy car came in handy when we wanted to go up to the ice skating rink in Robson Square. We could have walked, but it was pouring rain. We would happily recommend this place to any family.

This spectacular new hotel defines a 5 star property. The architecture is fabulous. The rooms look like they are out of a James Bond movie with mid-century funrishings, electronic drapes, lights that can be programmed for time of day and even a mirror with a built in t.v.--you can watch CNN while shaving! The doorman greets you by name every time you come and go. Truly outstanding in every way!

This is a beautiful, ultramodern, brand new hotel that has all the amenities that would be associated with a 5 star hotel. My standard bedroom was quite large, as was the marble bathroom (which had both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower). I also enjoyed the bathroom mirror; with the touch of a remote control, a TV screen appeared in the center of the mirror.Other high-tech features included electronically controlled drapes, and a complex automated lighting system for the bedroom and for the bathroom, with several lighting modes available. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. I had a city view, but the other side of the hotel has breathtaking views of the water and the mountains.The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. There was always a staff member stationed near the elevators on the first floor, eager to help with any queries we might have on our way in or out of the hotel. The hotel is literally right across the street from the convention center (which is on a pier in the inlet), and there is even an underground passageway for inclement weather. It is just a short stroll to most downtown attractions.Hotel amenities include a very nice fitness center, a spa (which we did not utilize), a good coffee shop with delicious deserts, a restaurant with great fusion cuisine,and a beautiful lounge in the lobby.

I stayed at FPR for 5 nights. It's a pleasant place. I stayed on the Gold floor. Parking cost is a bit surprisingly expensive.

Very comfortable and well furnished rooms but minimal drawer space. There were high tech light and drape controls which took some learning. They shined bright yellow all night which was annoying. The door to the bath is frosted glass. Impossible to turn on the light there without waking the other person. The lobby was not comfortable unless you sat in the bar lounge area. There was musical entertainment there nightly. The computer connections were some of the best I've seen. The TV had the habit of suddenly putting another show on in the middle of what you were watching.

I am a bit picky but this hotel is fabulous. Kind fo the feel of a "W". Trendy but excellent design and quality. Fabulous little cool things like a TV in your bathroom mirror. Floor to ceiling walls of windows. Automatic blinds, whirlpool tub, and recently built. Woudl love to stay there again!

Stayed a night at the Fairmont Pacific Rim prior to catching a cruise. Very convienently located right across the street from Canada Place. The rooms have very modern amenities. Definitely recommend.

Clean and well-organized. Very comfortable. Jetted tub really helped me relaxed after those long working days. Nice views of a beautiful city. Great service.

we enjoyed our stay at the pacific Rim very much. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help us and make our stay easy and memorable. The accommodations were modern, clean, very spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
