Sky Ranch Lodge - سيدونا

Simply the best place to stay in Sedona if you like being away from the crowds and want to get a broader view of teh surrounding area .. .all the time. Great grounds, service, and comfortable.

Love the gardens surrounding the various rooms and views are spectacular. Excellent location to downtown and other sites. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The views and small time lodge feeling are awesome. Pool is ok but they should allow it to be open until 1030 because the lodge has no other amenities at night.. The room isnt very luxurious and this would be ok if it wasnt for the very tired mattresses. I will be planning on going back to this hotel but wont be planning on sleeping well.

When I got there they had put me in a room pretty far from office, the office is not open at night, just a security guard. I was not comfortable at this location being alone. I called the front desk and they moved me without a problem. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept. The rooms are in need of remodeling. The mattress was too firm, carpet was old. BUT, the room was VERY clean.

Pros: Excellent private viewpoint area on hotel grounds is great for watching the sunrise or sunset and a nice place to have morning coffee or breakfast. Grounds are nicely landscaped and each unit has a patio or balcony. Nice pool area. Cons: The dryer was broken in the laundry room I used and no out of order sign was posted so after finishing my washing I found out I had to schlep all my wet clothes to the other laundry room. Aaargh! An attempt was made to make the rooms look "rustic" but what it really looks like is a bad paint job with cheap 4x4 beams glued to the ceiling. That being said, the rooms are not that bad and a bit larger than your typical hotel room.

Lovely views from both the private and near-by public overlooks.

This is a smaller older motel and my wife and I loved it. The view of the sunset was great. Nice grounds and clean room.

The hotel was dated and no-frills but very comfortable with fantastic views! The hotel property while not modern was quaint and had a good vibe. Nice heated pool and wine bar area. I would definately stay here again.

I'll be back

I would stay at this Lodge over and over. The views and the grounds are beautiful. Rooms r immaculate. My only complaint is the hot tub is rediculously small for that big of a complex. Sincerely Annette

Above the fray; overlooks the town. Excellent location. I will stay there again when in Sedona.

What a lovely little place! The views are unmatched, the staff friendly, the grounds are lovely, and the location is great. We arrived about 2 hours early to check in ( we drove from the grand canyon) and they got our room ready, calling my cell when they were finished. In the meantime we sat in the little garden out front, feeling the breeze and looking at the 200 year old agave. They have a wine patio on premises. It is a great place.

Spectacular Red Rock views and a dream location for sunset viewing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Patio Wine and Beer bar a wlcome amenity. I would definitely choose Sky Ranch Lodge again when visiting Sedona.

Great view serene environment

We spent 2 nights prior to heading up to Lake Powell. The hotel sits on top of a hill and has a spectacular view of some of Sedona's Red Rocks. There is a patio where you can sit and watch the sunset behind the rocks, awesome! The rooms themselves were a little dated (giant old tv!!) and the wifi was a little flakey, but very clean and comfortable and provided a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The grounds were very nicely landscaped and maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a super rate on this hotel and our room was on the backside, if I go back I would definitely pay a little more to get one of the rooms overlooking the rocks, fantastic view, and after all that is what we were there for!

We arrived in time to watch the sunset. The hotel's viewing area was closed for a wedding which didn't matter because we have an incredible view from our room. Room was just okay, nothing special. The location was the best part of this hotel. Free WiFi and parking also a plus!

Clean rooms, and nice views. Yeah it's a little dated but it's still a great value.

Once again we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly and the room is perfect for our needs.

We have stayed at Sky Ranch atleast 3 times before and been in all their different types of Accommodation, The Garden, The Rim and The Partial View. We love the Peace and beauty there and the amazing view of Sedona and the red rocks from Sky Ranch on top of the airport Mesa.

awesome.. will stay here again... the gardens & new overview is just wonderful.. the grounds with all the flowers ,bird feeders & grape vines add a warm personal touch. and the outdoor lounge.. nice.. the rooms could be updated.. but it's all about being outdoors.. just love it .

Located high above the tourist town of Sedona, Sky Ranch Lodge is a sprawling compound of small motel-type southwestern style rooms that could defintely use updating. The grounds are lovely and well-kept and although they do not have their own restaurant or coffee shop, the popular Mesa Grill is steps away on the airport grounds serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (very good food but a tad expensive.) I was disappointed that one of the outdoor areas they advertise on their website to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the sandstone canyons was closed for a private event.

The service was very good. My husband has a hard time with steps we were on the second floor they caried out luage up for us. The room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The pool was really warm, and the rooms had microwaves and mini-frig. The garden was beautiful but they watered the lawns so much you really couldn't get down and play or picnic on them (we have little kids so this was kind of disappointing). Other than that it was a really great stay!

Nice Views..a top the mountain rooms a bit tired, but that's why they are affordable..Over all nice place

It was quiet, away from the hububub......and the airport only has small planes so the noise was minimal.....actually less than the street noise downtown.The grounds are immaculate and the private overlook is spectacular!.....as opposed to the public one next door.

We had a wonderfull time! Booked one of the fireplace rooms - very comfortable beds, clean rooms & bathrooms. Older/dated rooms but location and views were well worth the money spent. The baloncy's are not private which was a bit odd but would definitly stay there again. Private overlook, pool and wine bar big pluses and the Mesa Airport Grill a little expensvie but dinners and breakfast excellent w/large portions & easy walking distance.

We had a very pleasant stay at the SRL. The grounds were very nice and our room was fine. We enjoyed the jacuzzi one night and found it to be perfect. Both nights we ate at the Grill at the airport. Great food and service. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful spot, great view. Very nice gardens and big rooms. A little farther out of Sedona than I expected. But otherwise very good spot

the room was quite old and not as comfortable as I would have liked. The grounds were beautiful. Location was good. I would not stay here again.

It was a good location and the hotel was clean and the views were amazing. The hotel is pretty run down and everything was very old; bedding, beds, etc. Our bed was even sunk in the middle. The staff was friendly but they didn't seem to understand that people were there to see the amazing sites in the area and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the area or where to begin to get the information. I was disappointed after reading all the other reviews.

We have stayed at Sky Ranch many times - perfect spot in Sedona - Now has private sunset viewing area. Very close to Sedona airport and a walk to Mesa Grill for great food. Just a good place - fireplace and balcony add to experience - a bit old school but comfortable.

Wonderful,

Bohemian in feel with great views and very nice staff. Operated with the feeling of a family owed hotel/motel. Prices very reasonable...kids enjoyed popping in to pool/hot tub after day in town. Escape to SRL from congestion of Sedona valley. Best option is to bring your own snacks / drinks for sunrise / sunset family time...no real food or eating options. We had very pleasant time.

Loved, loved this place. The beauty of the grounds with the patios and running water and lawns,etc made us feel like we were in a park. very nice cafe next door too and a beautiful view of Sedona.
