From the minute we arrived all staff treated us like VIPs even though we are local folks and choose their entry level room. All staff obviously care deeply about their hotel, their clients and the Trump brand. The BLT restaurant was unbeliveable. Great service, excellent quality and good value. While dining we felt like we could have been in any major mainland big city. My wife and I will definately return for more Hawaii staycations!

Couldnt fault the service and location is good as well, ocean views perfect!

After travelling round SE Asia for 25 years my wife and I thought we'd stayed in the best hotels but Trump literally came up Trumps. The personalised service, the thoughtfulness of the staff, the amazing restaurant and the beautiful food with excellent wines, and the faultless standard of accommodation was truly superb. This was the best hotel stay we have every enjoyed. So good infect we went back the week after though we had planned to go elsewhere. We will be going back. At one point, my wife said that perhaps the hotel had mixed us up with some other visiting VIP; the service was so good!

outstanding service, great location.Kitchen was a bonus. Small pool but not critical given that you are in the heart of Waikiki.

My mother and sister stayed before we moved to Kahala hotel and spa which was supposed to be the number one in Honolulu. They said no comaprison. Their experience at Trump was too good and they complained about obsolete and small room of Kahala. We stayed at Halekulani which was another supposed-to -be- best hotel in Waikiki, but we all were not impressed at all. It seems like Trump is the place to be when you are in Waikiki.

This is a real review - my wife and I LOVED our stay. We just got back from a 4 night stay, and I can't tell you how "wowed" we were by this hotel. This was even nicer than our honeymoon resort - the room was AWESOME! I can't remember what type of room we got, but I'm happy we paid the extra money for the space - we had a fully set up kitchen, walk in shower... holy cow - it was like a little apartment! And the best part? The service. EVERYONE was so friendly and personable. I'm not kidding - this is THE BEST customer service I've ever experienced. Even the housekeeping was super friendly. The attached steakhouse (BLT) is amazing. I freaking love their bread, and their ribeye steak? The best i've ever had. I also liked the breakfast place - the buffet was pricey but well worth it. The attached bar? Awesome setting (open air, overlooking the city - georgeous). The drinks were a bit overpriced, but what can you expect? Very close to LOTS of awesome shopping, and about a 1-2 minute walk to the beach. The beach is just across the street (not at all far). My wife and I already decided we are FOR SURE coming here again, and if I can ever stay at a trump tower again, I will. Bottom line? Stay here!

It is just off the beach but with quick access via Ft. Derussy Park. The hotel provides a great beach bag service that includes water, towels, fresh fruit, and sunscreen. The access to the beach is a 3 minute walk. As you hit the sand, there is a rental stand for beach chairs, surfboards, etc. and multiple eating options. The rock jetty helps block the trade winds and allows a great view of Diamond Head. Ask for a room with a view of Hilton Hawaii Village- as you'll have a better ocean view. The bed was ROCK hard- a big disappointment for a 5star hotel. The service was everything you could expect. Walk one block to Roy's for dinner- great Hawaiian fusion restaurant. We'd return for the location and service. Hopefully, they will improve the beds.

Me and my wife travel a lot and stay in countless hotels before, and we find Trump Hotel far superior to the luxury hotels that we stayed. Service, luxury rooms, and outstanding facilities. Although the price is not exactly a regular price, but after the stay, we both say they deserve it, trully spoke. Nowhere else can compare to the service attitude of Trump, which makes it far superior to others at the same level.

The Trump Hotel costs a little more but it is well worth the extra money. The staff is always smiling and cheerful. They are always eager to help you and quick with service. The room was very nice . Very comfortable king size bed, convenient kitchenette, large bathroom with walk-in shower, deep soaking tub, and toilet/bidet. Staying here made it such a relaxing vacation, I highly reccomend the Trump International Waikiki.

The beds were so comfortable ! Hotel was gorgeous and staff very attentive.

The room we booked was a king room. The bedroom was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in. The design of the closet was very poor and the bathroom was very cramped. Whoever designed the hotel tried to fit in too many rooms at the expense of the paying customer, ceilings very low. Even though hotel was new would not stay here again due to room size. The kitchen area was convenient but unfortunately the cleaning staff had not emptied the fridge from the previous people who had occupied the room. Not up to what I would expect from the Trump name.

My boyfriend and I were only able to stay one night, but it was so fantastic, we were sad to leave the next day. The bed and pillows were like a cloud and the ocean view from the bed and balcony made it really special. Every friday night there are fireworks that can be seen from the restaurant lounge and pool area. It's pretty awesome to be standing in a pool on the 6th floor with a view of the fireworks over the ocean. The service was also great. Everyone was so nice and helpful. It was such a great stay and a perfect way for my boyfriend and I to celebrate our anniversary. Would definitely return.

From the moment we arrived at the Trump International, we received the most outstanding customer service. The desk staff, the bell crew and even the housekeepers were very helpful offering useful sightseeing information. The room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable to stay in. Will definitely stay here again.

It was my best choice to stay Trump hotel in Waikiki... There service was really good for Honey moon trip.. Specially there concierge service is great! They do everything what we want...just there swimming pool was so small but I might go there again for next hawaii trip too!

Great place to stay. Staff were terrific

So my boyfriend and I thought that we have perfect timing... land of our fight at about 215 and arrived at the hotel at about 235... The hotel was really nice and we received a very warm welcome... Super nice greetings and each got a necklace fm the bell hops right after we got off the taxi... Maybe that set my expectation high! We then went up to the front deck n check-in (check-in time is 3:00)... So I thought maybe we will get lucky n get a room rite away... And if not it's only gonna be 1/2 hr wait... As expected... Room is not ready and they r sorry to tell us that there's no king size bedroom available... Only 2 doubles room... But they ensureus that that will have one by noon the next day... Even a lil disappointed... We agreed on it... So they said they will give us a call when the room is ready... So we went shopping around the strip... Lil did we know... 4:30 still no calls... We went back to the hotel n they said the room's ready... Ok... Fine... At least we got to walk around... The next day came... I call the front desk at noon to ask for the room they said would be available... "O sorry miss... The room is not available... The guest had not check out yet! We will give u a call as soon as it's ready.". We believed them again... Went out... No calls... Nothing...4:00 came back to the hotel... Called the front desk again... Said the room still not ready... Then 5:00 came the room's finally ready... The place is very clean n staffs are super polite... But organization is totally off... maybe better luck next time!

I have visited the TRUMP las vegas, and TRUMP New York/Soho. The waikiki location is exceptional in its proximity to beach/shopping/dining/entertainment. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, more than any other location. it must be the hawaiian aloha spirit. i will definitely be staying again each visit. Perhaps purchasing a condo unit and becoming a resident is the best option???

We were very impressed with the staff at the hotel. First class all the way and customer service oriented. Everyone was friendly and helpful. With the recent Obama visit to Honolulu during our stay the guest services personal were on top of making sure we didn't miss our flight due to road closures. We so appreciated the young lady that called to ensure we were leaving for the airport in good time. Many thanks. The hotel is so well located... close to the beach, restaurants, walking paths.... lots! Love it.

Hotel was great!! Our family me and my wife + 2x15 year old teens really enjoyed our stay. The staff was absolutely great and friendly. All services were perfect and I want to recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is simply amazing... I travel to Waikiki often and will be sure to stay here again!

We expected a "wow" amd got a kind of "this is nice". The room had no microwave, but had a rice cooker, toaster, blender, mixer, coffee pot, but no way to reheat anything. There was no make up mirror in the bathroom. The rooms was small, low ceilings. Thinking of it as a TRUMP, we just expected more. We have stayed at the Hyatt and Hilton, Marriott and Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider, and Halekaulani in Waikiki and they had more of a "wow" factor, sorry to say. However, BLT restaruant in the hotel is fantastic, a definate double WOW.

I stay in Waikiki at least once a month. This was the first time staying at the Trump. I was greeted with a lai and escorted to the lobby where I was greeted with a cool towel and strawberry infused ice water - so refreshing! I was checked in and in my room in no time at all. My room was chic and comfortable. very quiet as well. The food at the hotels dining room is great and the sunset special at the bar is great as well. I really had a great time here.

No words can explain the hotel. It's is simply awesome. The premises, amenities and staff were second to none. My choice of hotel in Waikiki!

as part of our honeymoon, we stayed in the Trump on 2 occasions for 2 nights both times while on oahu, before going to the big island and returning from it. Every element of this hotel was superb, the staff are outstanding, warm, welcoming, funny, and go out of their way to help you, even as we walked into the hotel they had staff who would see you and run over with water! When the staff found out we were on honeymoon, went out of their way to assist us with everything, upgrades given, bottles of champagne in our room etc, they were fantastic the rooms were outstanding, the food at the restaurants excellant and very well priced, especially BLT. Location couldnt be better, a 1 min walk to waikiki beach and only twenty minutes from the airport I could go on and on about everything but i wont bother, simply put, if you are going to Oahu this is the place to stay, you wont regret it.

Don't miss out on this one. been there with my two kids and everything was super. wish more will learn to understand the customers as Trump does. The hotel is centeral and beautiful, rooms are big and the service is superb.

I was looking forward to staying at the Trump as we had some good recommendations however I was extremely disappointed with things such as, stained sheets, pay tv not working, cold food from room service, room service did not restock all amenities daily, no storage for tolietries in the bathroom and when we asked for an upgrade the next day after checkin it was disregarded however on the last night they offered an upgrade because of all the inconviences! I did not take it up, we did not want to pack for one night! I would not recommend nor would I stay there again.

Great hotel (more like serviced apartments - condos) to stay just a block away from the beach The room we stayed had fully equipped kitchen, ice maker in the fridge, free internet, very nice bathroom (the shower needed a bit of maintenance though). The breakfast place in the hotel however was not worth the money. I would recommend eating breakfast elsewhere.

Rate was good but good smallest room on the floor. Guess that's why Hotels.com gets good rates. Noisy location and pool area very small. Lots of stuff to see downtown but not a place to stay if you want a relaxing vacation. 200 Yards across busy streets to the beach which is nothing to look at.

The room was terrific as was the view and service. 5 stars!!

The Trump International Waikiki Beach Walk was a huge disappointment. Our room, which was very cramped, had a kitchen but no table at which to eat. The floor of the lanai looked as if it had never been cleaned. Housekeeping woke us two nights for a turndown service after we were in bed even though the "do not disturb" sign was on the door. Housekeeping again ignored the "do not disturb" sign when they entered the room unannounced to return a vacuum cleaner to staff they thought were in the room. The hotel pool is basically a four foot deep six foot wide infinity lap pool. Our grandchildren were not impressed. The hotel has 38 floors and there were only four elevators! We came away thinking that it was all "fluff and not very user friendly. We would not stay there again,nor would we recommend iit to others.

I booked this hotel based on the online reviews I had read and that it advocated it was family and child friendly. Trump International Hotel did not dissapoint. We travelled with a 5.5year old and a 5 month old baby. The room I booked was a one bedroom suite, it was large enough for all of us to manage in, however next time I would look at booking a two bedroom suite. The hotel staff are definitely child friendly, however the hotel isn't really set up for children. There are a few token gestures for those travelling with children which were nice touches, however we didn't expect it to be a family focused hotel and we knew that when we booked. The staff were amazing, we couldn't fault the service. They went above and beyond, to allow us a very late check-out from our room on our day of departure which was a life saver when travelling with a 5 month old. We can't fault this hotel, the location, the service standare of accommodation and facilities were certainly five star. We would highly reccommend to anyone considering staying here.

Overall we had a wonderful experience at Trump; the service was exceptional and everyone was extremely helpful. The location was perfect - close to the beach and shopping, with lots of options for restaurants. The only issues we had was that the cold water handle in the bathroom was loose and was very hard to turn off.

We stayed at Trump Waikiki for 8 nights in a ocean view room on 15th floor, two double bed with a balcony. The view is amazing, with ocean, city and mountain view all right in front of you. The service is great, location is perfect and close to everything. We got a beeper from Egg N Things. Since we were told it's one hour wait, we went back to our hotel room to rest and beeper lit up. We went down and walked into the restaurant. It's a few minutes late but we got our table, twice. Our room has a fully equipped kitchen and a very large bathroom with a deep bathtub. I enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of activities.

Excellent service, fantastic location and a superb view of the ocean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honolulu.

Great location, Great services, Also, I had my room upgrade, and could Late-Checkout till my flight time. Negative: Breakfast in the hotel is unreasonable. the bathtub is user-unfriendly.

Service is excellent - as should be expected from 5 star hotels, but not always provided in some. This is the place to stay - location is far better than the main strip and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars close by. Beach is less than a block away too. When you consider that rooms are only $40 a day more than many other 4 star hotels it well worth staying here just for the service alone. When we return this will be the place to stay! Oh and no resort fee!!! Top marks!
