This hotel was comfortable and a good location to get the train to Monte Carlo and Nice. Not alot of English spoken at this hotel, it is a bit tried looking.

Great room - lousy cheap plastic glasses. Dining room and food pretty good but a scramble with coach parties at breakfast and dinner time. Took one dinner only and went out for the rest.

They did a great job in updating a 1890 property.

Great place for access to Monaco, only 10 mins on the train at a cost of 2 euro's each way. Place itself was a bit like an old peoples home, but don't let that put you off, the staff were very friendly, access to Monaco is great and a nice roof top terrace for breakfast overlooking the gardens. As a one night stop over you could do far worse.

The hotel was nice, the free wifi did not work, but it was a nice hotel maybe a bit over priced. But comfortable and quite close to monaco

Good hotel and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work in both rooms. Also, the WiFi did not work.

Rooms are not nice and the hotel is old and tired. not value for money at all.

The hotel is neat and clean. It's in a good neighborhood and convenient to all. Criticisms: no beach towels (it is against the rules to the take the room towels to the beach), no shampoo/conditioner provided, must check-out hairdryer from front desk as there are a limited number, air conditioning in room didn't work.

EXCELENT. NICE PEOPLE. CLEAN. LOVELY

Convenient location with easy access to the train, main pedestrian area and the sea front. Clean, tidy and quiet with beautiful manicured gardens and secure garage parking. Rooms are small but adequate with up to date bathrooms. Free wifi in the lobby, laundry facilities and a helpful staff (most of whom spoke English). Will be back next year!

Very pleased with hotel, excellent central location. Mainly elderly French folk staying, but we had been expecting that. Good value. We were initially given a small double room although having requested a twin room, but were quickly transferred to a bigger twin.

Very comfortable hotel set in a lovely garden. Quiet location; close to the seafront. Close to the railway station. Helpful staff. Good value for money.

Single bed and room size too small, single room's outlook is rail line. Hotel does have double rooms which look pleasant and face a garden.

Lovely location, near the beach and local amenities but still quite quiet. Hotel is quiet too, especially at night - many older residents. The bar closes very early - about 8:30pm I think! But if you're looking for peace and quiet this is a boon. Room was small and basic but clean, bed very comfortable, shower small but adequate, air con was slow to kick in bit worked when left on for a while. Good lift to all floors. The grounds to the hotel are pretty, lots of trees and exotic plants and a terrace with tables. Didn't try any hotel food, there being so many nice cafés and restaurants to try. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke some English. It's not a very English-speaking town - would probably be difficult to get by without speaking French or Italian. About a 5-10 minute walk from train station - train travel up and down the beautiful coast is highly recommended. Most of the beaches along this stretch are pebbles - great for avoiding sand in awkward places, but flipflops are essential. Menton beach is less busy than many along the coast. The sea is clean clear and blue, but gets deep very quickly so not ideal for children and non-swimmers.

beautiful gounds, very pivate. excellent location, less than 10 minutes from the train station by foot, few minutes away from the beach. The front desk staff personnel very friendly, helpful, excellent customer service. The rooms are charming, a little bit outdate, but very quite and cozy!. I highly recomend this hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay.The hotel is a bit dated but all areas hallways ,lobby ,bar ,and dining areas were all very clean and tidy.The reception staff both French an English where very helpful .The hotel gardens are wonderful many shady areas to sit and enjoy the surroundings.The train station is a 5 minute walk away,and the bus from Nice airport drops you about 5 minutes walk away from the hotel.

Nice Hotel , beautiful gardens and entrance , a touch of Nostalgy . Senior clientele mostly during our stay. Our room was booked as a special offer and revealed to be very disappointing . However the Manager , a very helpful and smiling Lady , upgraded us to a wide and beautiful room with balcony , for a very mild difference in price . Covered Parking for 7 Euros per day very useful also . I certainly recommend . Weak point , the breakfast , there is an excellent bakery at the corner of the street .

Penso positivo. L'albergo è in una posizione centrale, vicinissimo ai negozi e al mare. Le camere sono accoglienti e la colazione abbondante. Il personale molto disponibile.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, within a 10 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel building and the surrounding countires are beautiful, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is overpriced, but there are many small 'boulangeries' nearby where you can get an excellent breakfast! The only real downside is the noise from the train that runs nearby and the garbage trucks that woke us up early in the morning.

El conserje de noche no habla nada más que francés y era imposible entenderse con él. Desayuno bufet normalillo.

Très bon séjour, personnel agréable et souriant.Seul petit problème : une désagréable odeur d'égout en rentrant dans la chambre, en dehors de ça, rien à dire.Hôtel ancien, mais qui a su garder son charme.Dommage de devoir payer le parking, et les taxes de séjour, ailleurs c'est compris dans le prix.

Arrive dans un hôtel du troisième âge, arrive dans cet hôtel, l hôtel fait propre arrive dans la chambre et c est le choque une chambre minuscule, un lit immense qui prend toute la place, tellement grand qu'on ne peut même pas poser la valise par terre pour l'ouvrir, une vue magnifique sur des mauvaises herbes, un mur tagué, et surtout la voie de chemin de fer à 15 mètres de la chambre. La salle de bain minuscule aussi avec une mini douche ou il faut attendre 10 minutes pour avoir de l'eau chaude. Le personnel était intérimaire donc très dur de régler une nouvelle carte pour la chambre et donne le code wifi de la chambre ( qui ne marche pas ). La nuit on est réveiller par le passage du train, un bruit telle le tonnerre. Le matin le petit déjeuner est vraiment la rencontre du troisième âge. Un voyage rater, une réservation dans cet hôtel qui ne parle pas du train, qui parle du wifi, qui a surchauffé selon l'homme d'accueil. Très déçue de cet hôtel, dans une petite chambre, étriquée, on s'est senti étouffé, plus jamais.

Hôtel sympathique,accueil charmant, confort de qualité. Restent quelques prestations à revoir ( flexible de la douche cassé, personne à l'accueil pendant de longues périodes, la nuit), bref, les petites misères d'une visite au mois d'août globalement, positive et agréable. Le petit déjeuner, bien que n'étant pas servi en chambre, est un moment convivial. Le jardin est magnifique, il y a des chats, des pigeons, des mouettes pour agrémener la terrasse!

Positivo - Cafe da manhã muito bom, quarto espaçoso, próximo de Mônaco e primeira cidade após saída da Itália. Negativo - hotel envelhecido, de época, quarto sujo. Custo benefício apenas razoável.

Une bonne impression générale. Arrivée tardive mais accueil parfait, bonnes explications, petit déjeuner très satisfaisant. Un bémol : la saale de bain est vraiment exigue et principalement la douche....

Très bonne impression dans l'ensemble. En revanche, il arrive parfois que certains membres du personnel soient peu souriants (petit-déjeuner). L'établissement est très lumineux, superbe à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur côté parc et la propreté est irréprochable.

Très bonnes impressions ! A recommander. Le seul point négatif concerne l'accès au wifi qui n'a pas été possible dans la chambre.

Très bel hôtel, immense, avec un petit parc arboré qui fait oublier que nous sommes en centre ville. Il y a un parking sur place (en théorie payant, mais nous n'avons pas payé...). L'hôtel est à proximité directe des magasins, le casino est à 4 minutes à pied, et il est aisé de partir soit à San Remo soit à Nice sur un coup de tête. La chambre était belle, tout fonctionnait bien, mais nous n'avons pas aimé les tâches suspectes sur le dessus de lit, les cheveux dans la douche, et la femme de ménage qui entre alors que le signe "do not disturb" est affiché sur la porte! Le petit déjeuner était gargantuesque et l'accueil très chaleureux. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Elegant hotell i Belle Epoque-stil. Varsamt renoverat. Allt i bästa kvalitet. Vänlig professionell personal. Nyrenoverade fina rum. Bra sängar. Nackdel att fläktsystemet låg granne med rummet. Nära till allt. Fri parkering till höger om hotellet på liten smal gata.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avions pris une chambre avec vue sur le parc donc au calme avec une belle vue. Le personnel est très agréable, à l'image de la chambre. Toutefois, il vous faudra prévoir du shampoing et un sèche-cheveux.
