Decent rates. Very convenient. Great location. I've been there twice already and very happy with it. This time around the lack of air conditioning in the rooms was an issue.... but still tolerable. Still a very acceptable option.

Ideal if you are planning to stay for a long time as the rooms are more like small apartments as they include a full kitchen. Bed was very comfortable and clean.

very good hotel, this area hotel is in a very expensive area. great value for your money. the room is the same as a one bedroom apartment. The staff very helpful. would recommend this hotel and i would stay there again. room has refrig,microwave, and utensils.

Excellent location. Next to all the top tourist class hotels in Mexico City. Accomodations were very comfortable and the staff was very accomodating.

It was good. The hotel rooms were confortable. My favorite thing was the location. Close to great restaurants and a great park.

Fair cost considering the great location. Very clean. However, the furniture is old and dirty (sofa).

Great small hotel, well...let me take that back: the room is actually a small one room apartment, so is quite big, compared to a regular hotel room. The area is perfect with great restaurants and places to go at a walking distance, very safe too. I wanted a happening place with city noise, it was perfect for me, but if you need a silent place that does not wake the kids up at night don’t go there (I mean the neighborhood or Mexico city for that matters, not the hotel)

Great executive suite: vast layout (vast kitchen+living room, nice bedroom and nice bathroom), very clean, comfortable, two TVs and two DVD players, coffee machine, oven, toaster, kitchenware, etc... Quiet area and quiet hotel (though soundproofing was not great at all, but that was not an issue as there are no rooms adjacent to the bedroom). The Palenco neighborhood is really residential, very green, pleasant walks around the "Bosque", but is 20 minutes away (by cab) from the historic center. Beware: the included "Continental Breakfast" is served in the room only (there is no restaurant inside the hotel) and included only tea/coffee + milk or plain yoghurt + packaged brownie + one apple (no orange juice, cereals, eggs, pancakes, or any of the usual "continental" stuff....). No bottled water offered by the hotel (you may ask for a jar of drinking water at the reception.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff, the service, the room size and comfort, the location, all fabulous for what we paid. The only downside was the street noise that woke us up in the morning. The street is small but people have a tendency to honk a lot in this city. You get used to it I guess. The carpets could use a shampooing, but i walked around barefoot and it was fine. The guy at the front desk spoke excellent English and helped us locate a few things. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance and there's a French bistro directly across the street that has a great breakfast if you need more than the complimentary yogurt/fruit/coffee provided by the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.

This property needs some desperate TLC! There were two broken chairs, the kitchen was half equiped and the lift broken. The staff were disinterested in their guests and did not have the good grace to welcome you or say goodbye! For the price this is a rip off, the only thing saving it is the location.

Day 1 there was not hot water at time of my shower. I called and they sent someone to check it out, but I needed to be at a meeting so a cold shower got me there. Day 2 was perfect. No problem. Clean room, decent internet connection and free breakfast. Day 3 had a minor tick as the hotel's coffee maker went bad, thus no one in the building woke up to coffee. I guess they only have one in the whole building. This is my third time staying at this place. Great location, great rate and walking distance to many dining options. They need to work on the details.

El hotel y la ubicación es buena, para los negocios que atendi en Polanco. No cuenta con estacionamiento. Cuenta con cocineta, micro, platos, refri, etc.

La ubicacion es muy buena, hay restaurantes y supermercados. Tambien es muy cerca del museo antropologico y algunas parques. - En total - nos gustaria estar por alli.

ha sido un placer alojar en el Hotel Casa Castelar, el ambiente es muy bonito y calmo, hay siempre alguien en la reception listos para ayudarte. Hay solo pequeños fallos con el aigua, pero creo que esto pasa en todo el país.

La primera noche me pusieron al lado de un extractor (hay un restaurante abajo) y el ruido era insoportable. El resto de las noches ok. La ubicación del hotel es inmejorable, por lo que la relación precio-calidad es bastante aceptable. Podrían mejorar un poquito con la limpieza, pero en general esta bienl

É um flat com sala, cozinha, banheiro e quarto. Longe de ser um hotel 4 estrelas mas possui tudo o que é necessário para uma boa noite de sono além de estar muito bem localizado.

Excelente servicio y cercanía a lo mejor del distrito de Polanco. A "walking distance" de Auditorio Nacional, Mazaryk, los cafes y restaurantes de Emilio Castelar. ¡Increible el penthouse!

Increible la estadía en Casa Casterlar. El único detalle fue que en el primer nivel se esucha mucho ruído por el restaruante El Diez que está en la Planta Baja. Fuera de eso, increíble la habitación, limpia, todos los servicios perfectos. Definitivamente lo recomendaría a parjeas que quieran salir a cenar/tomar caminar cerca, perfecta ubicación y muchas opciones de diversión por la noche.

この広さ、清潔度でこの値段は絶対にお得だと思いました。しかし一つ問題は夜中に１Fにあるレストランのオープンスペースを片づける際にとんでもなく大きな音がするってことです。30分～1時間くらいです。それがなければオール５だと思いました。毎朝ドアの前にコーヒーと、フルーツなどを置いてくれていました。ﾎﾃﾙのフロントの人もとても親切。感じがよかったです。

En general, el hotel no da una muy buena impresión al inicio, pero el servicio es bueno. El unico detalle con este hotel es que no hay aire acondicionado, y hay mucho ruido en las noches a causa de los aviones.

Casa Castelar tiene todas las ventajas de un apart y ninguna de las de un hotel. Muy bien amoblado y mantenido, ubicado en un muy buen lugar de la ciudad tanto para el dia como para la noche.

Excelente ubicacion. Habitaciones espaciosas, limpias y cómodas. Personal muy amable pero 2 veces que pedi llamada para despertarme no me la hicieron.

Hotel simples mas muito bom. Quarto grande com cama confortável. Café da manha simples. Vale pela localização. Polaco e o lugar.

Ótima localização , bom atendimento e no melhor bairro da cidade do México . Preço justo. Gostei e recomendo !

El servicio de recepcion es muy basico pero el staff tiene buena actitud. La habitacion es super amplia y comoda, pero nos hubiera gustado que la cama fuera mas grande. El desayuno es muy sencillo pero bueno y lo dejan todos los dias afuera de la habitacion asi que es muy comodo. La ubicacion es excelente hay mil cosas que hacer a las que puedes llegar a pie. Hay un restaurante argentino a lado del hotel y un lugarcito frances cruzando la calle que sirve el mejor pan frances con compota de frutos rojos. En fin, lo recomiendo mucho y volveria sin pensarlo.

Me agrado la ubicación del hotel, te permite conocer una zona bastante bonita y muy cerca del auditorio nacional, sin las aglomeraciones de un hotel enorme. Es como estar en un depa. El servicio podría ser mas cálido pero en general es muy buena opción y si vuelvo a DF vuelvo a hospedarme ahí. Gracias

buena ubicación. La calidad del desayuno pobre...Como en todo México, la gente muy agradable y respetuosa pero poco capacitada y con iniciativa nula. La habitación no tiene calefacción y a la noche refresca bastante. Como se sabe, el agua de DF no es potable, sin embargo no había ni una botella de cortesía cuando llegué a las 22hs...tube que salir a comprar una.
