Ibis Merida - ماردة

There's a friendly, helpful staff but the rooms, though clean, are small and sparse. It reminds me of a dorm room and doesn't feel inviting to stay in. Resist the temptation to eat at the hotel. Even breakfast was disappointing. Great location. Even so, the size of the rooms isn't worth the money even though this is one of the cheapest big hotels by El Centro. I would opt to find a good deal somewhere else and taxi in, even though I find no great fault with the hotel.

The rooms again were very clean,tho sparse. This is after all a business mans hotel. Problems this year with maintenance and computers, Internet. Still a good hotel for the price. No lock box in room which is somewhat surprising, tho the safedeposit box at the front desk is free. Very close to parade route for mardi GRAS

Clean, no frills, no extras (including wash cloths). Rooms are compact but ok for a short stay. Double bed is the largest available. Good central location, nice walking neighborhood. BEST part was that the AC/ventilation system was quiet and efficient.

They were renewing the rooms in the second floor. it was a good thing , but they should not give guests rooms in the second floor.There were strong chemical odor and we spent 3 nights there with a baby. the resturant is so so;

Unbeatable : the best ratio in town comfort/price. Small issue with elevators... but I still recommend it !

when they say 2 single beds...they mean 2 twin beds pushed together for 2 people who want SEPARATE beds. It felt like sleeping in a RV. You have everything you NEED and nothing you don't. It was clean and cozy, but not a place I would want to hang out. I would get claustrophobic if I stayed more than one night. It worked great for our quick trip to Merida and was well located. The ultra contemporary style may work for the young chic international business travelers that are coming from Europe or New York. For me, I would have preferred a nice traditional Mexican colonial style. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean. It had safe parking and the hotel was well located for my needs. The internet price made it a good choice for one night....but I was glad I had brought my own soft pillow!

Great location, not so great hotel.. Room is small, service sucks, and food is blah. I have visited this part of Mexico, several times, but this hotel was bluh. The only great part of the hotel is the location. It right next to El Monimento Central.

This is a relatively new hotel, from a French hotel company. It is a businessmen's hotel which means the rooms are very small, but very effecient. The hotel has a small bar and restaurant. It is 1/2 block from 2 excellent restaurants, a wonderful bakery and for those who care a McDonalds. The central historic district is easy walking distance and a Wal-mart such as you've never seen is 3 or 4 block away. Three major hotels are 1-1/2 blocks and are twicw the price. I'll wak, thanks, and save the money.

hotel rooms are 3 x 2 mts...you feel somehow in europe.. not the tipical mexican hotel room i would expect... front desk staff was helpfull however there was only 1 person at the front desk , so attending all guest was practically imposible. but I guess you get what you pay for... price was fair.

no tiene buena dimensión de habitaciones y la limpieza es muy mala

Buena experiencia en el hotel, limpio, buen servicio, solo el detalle de que como politica del hotel cuidan las toallas por un tema ecologico, sin embargo la puerta de la regadera hace que se salga el agua y claro cada ves que usas la regadera usas una toalla, ahorrarian muchas toallas si cuidaran las puertas de la regadera.

Lo Malo: El hotel no te acepta el check in antes de la 1pm aun cuando hay cuartos. Todos los vuelos a Merida son muy temprano asi que esta pesimo esto. Pudieron haber ganado un cliente de por vida si nos dejaban entrar antes. No funciona el internet en las habitaciones. Lo Bueno: Esta muy centrico, esta limpio, economico y el desayuno es de $85 por persona.

Estuve dos días hospedada, siempre busco IBIS en todo el mundo o los Accor Hoteles.La limpieza de la ducha, deja mucho qué desear, si la lavan pero no a fondo, las esquinas están negras de los hongos de la humedad. En eso debería de tener más cuidado.Muchas gracias

Esta bien para un par de noches, esta muy bien ubicado

El hotel y sus instalaciones son excelentes asi como la hubicacion, el unico detalle fue en la resepcion, al parecer la persona que nos atendio o era nueva o no tenia la capacitacion adecuada, le tomo casi media hora poder darnos la habitacion aun cuando ya teniamos la reservacion pagada. Fuera de eso todo muy bien con el hotel y el servicio

Los cuartos, camab y baño son super pequeños, pero la relación precio/ producto es muy biuena.

Este hotel es muy moderno, y bien ubicado. No lo aconsejo para una familia porque las habitaciones son pequeñas y no cuenta con Alberca, pero para solamente dormir y visitar los alrededores, es una muy buena opción.

Excelente trato y servucio

las instalaciones se ven nuevas, el hotel esta acorde al precio, el servicio es amable. las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, lo cual máximo seria para 2 personas, es hotel para ejecutivos y no familiar. en buena zona. todo cerca.

El hotel esta muy bien, esta centrico mas como quiera tienes que tomar un taxi para llegar a el centro de Merida, esta muy austero no te dan shampoo o mas de una toalla mas eso no es impedimento. Aunque es recomendable no deja de ser el hotel estilo americano o europeo, para la verdadera experiencia de la ciudad lo mejor seria quedarse en un hotel local.

En general muy bien, es un hotel bussines, lo que no me gusto es que el olor de la cocina se queda en el lobby

BASTE BIEN EL SERVICIO, INSTALACIONES MUY BIEN CUIDADAS.
