I would like to share that breakfast buffet is good, sea view is awesome and spa massage is nice too. however, none of the email channels responded when i enquired on the spa and airport transfer. you may want to refer to tripadvisor for the detailed review.

Overall, I thought it was a great hotel.

Really beautiful place, just a quick walk up the hill from Kamala Beach. We enjoyed the walk to and from town daily. There is a 7-11 close by for anything you might need as well. Great restaurant Rockfish right acoss and down the hill a bit. Breakfast at the hotel was great also, had drinks on the rooktop. I am a beach person but they have an amazing pool here. I really don't see how you could be disappointed with this place. Again, this is not right in town, but we actually enjoyed that. We were in Kata, Patong and Kamala and enjoyed Kamala the best.

The Cape sienna is a beautiful beautiful hotel- breathtaking views from the min you enter the lobby, while you are eating breakfast, having drinks and dinner etc. It really is stunning. The rooms with the jacuzzis are brilliant. The staff can be a bit indifferent and it's pretty hard at breakfast to get a cup of tea. The staff at Sienna rocks don't check to see if you would like anything. They just stand inside and you have to go in everytime you want something- they should be walking around. This pool area is fantastic and v peaceful also. It is an easy 5 min walk to Zamala beach which is a great area. 10 mins in a taxi (400baht) to Patong. Highly recommend this hotel/ it just needs slight tweaking.

From the second you arrive to that beautiful view from the lobby you that feeling "you picked the right hotel". From the pool to the rooms this place is beautiful. If possible I would recommend a room in one of the higher buildings on the hill to have an even more majestic view. The pool area is amazing and the town is a short walk away. The cab ride to patong for big party nightlife is 400-500 each way and the taxi mafia thing is real so just expect to pay higher than normal cab fares. The room service was also fantastic and the best part is they did not have additional fees for the service . Great place, great staff

Spectacular view from lobby ...only marred by ugle telephone cables. That should be fixed!!! Recommend to hire a motorbike to get areound as taxis are expensive in Phuket and location is a bit far away. Lovely place and quite helpful staff. Phuket has become overpriced in recent years so I prefert the North of Thailand.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff attentive and the view amazing. Breakfast was generally good but we would expect fresh juice not concentrate in a hotel of this standard and the coffee is rubbish. Freshly made coffee (not filter) in the morning makes all the difference. There is a problem with the location and the taxi mafia are STILL a problem. The hotel have produced information about the taxi situation and claim that there is nothing they can do, but that doesn't wash with us, there is something they can do and that is to provide an affordable alternative, but they don't. A metred taxi from the airport is almost 1000 Baht less that the hotel's airport service. We wouldn't come back to the hotel but really that's an issue with the location and getting around rather than the actual hotel which is a shame.

Nice Rooms & Restaurants. Only the location is far from everything in Phuket resulting in high travel costs.

Awesome seaview. Everything is perfect about this hotel except for a particular front desk staff who was quite rude. The tour desk lady was very helpful in giving us suggestions on how can we spend our last day after checking out from the hotel while waiting for our flight at night. Room has got amazing seaview, nice jacuzzi, but a part of my view was blocked by a tree. I requested for high floor but they gave me level 2. The shower temperature was not consistent, hot and cold.

If you were cracking your head over Cape Sienna or Serenity, like i was previously, look no further. Cape Sienna will not disappoint you. Their policy of not having children under 12 years old is a plus. (Sorry for those who has young kids). Instead of going to the main pool, go to the rock. It's more exclusive.

The hotel location is excellent! Its out of the world! Indian Veg food is a serious problem rest i will rate the hotel ***** !

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for a night in a sea-view room. We had a pleasure moment there. Heard soothing sound of sea waves all night (from balcony). And for breakfast, no complaint with lots of choices of food and helpful staffs as well as sensation views of pool and the sea. I will bring more friends and come visit again.

This is in Kamala Beaxh where you are 10-15 minutes scooter ride away from Bangla Road (Patong Beach) - not that far at all! It is worth staying here because you are far from the noise and buzzle yet everything seems quite close. It is highly recommended to see the show Fantasea and have their buffet as it is once in a lifetime experience. We loved it!

We stayed at this hotel in April for 4 nights, after coming from south of Phuket, and was extremely impressed. The view is amazing, and the food in the poolside restuarant is tasty and affordable. The pools in both the hotel and Sienna Rocks are fantastic, especially the infinity pool watching the sunset. The room was left clean, however we were not given face or hand towels only bath towels, which was a bit disappointing. Another big issue for me was the smell in the room when aircon was turned off, near the sofa. It smelt like urine, however it disappeared when aircon was turned on. The smell and lack of towels were the only issues, besides that we had a great stay. I was there over my birthday, and the restaurant had arranged for a cake, and came and sung happy birthday which was a big surprise, and so very sweet. I would definitely come back to Cape Sienna, the place is amazing, the people are friendly, and the view is to die for!

Hotel has got very good sea views. Breakfast is good and pool looks very nice as well. Rooms are clean but theres a stench around the toilet area probably the drainage isnt too good. Doesnt look like a new hotel but it still fits a Asian 4* hotel.

Hotel has great views from just about every place you look and is in a relatively quiet location (near other hotels but not on a teeming strip). However, it does not have beach front access so you must walk 10-15 minutes to reach the beach. Very nice breakfast buffet by the pool. Rooms are fairly stylish and spacious. Service was mixed. We checked in late and did not receive the very warm and personalized service we saw being extended to other guests who arrived in the day time. Also, there is no avoiding stairs completely to get to a room and the hotel representative basically offered no help with the luggage and later gave an unfriendly response to a general question regarding the fitness facilities ("Go see for yourself at 7 a.m."). There's no hotel concierge service either.

We arrived to this hotel when we first got to Phuket and although we had to wait by the pool for a couple hours till our room was ready, they upgraded us several levels for free! They gave us a deluxe oceanview room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. It was so beautiful and quiet to wake up to. The breakfast buffet were absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly and we were able to take several trips using the concierge there and they were some of the best times. We went elephant trekking in the interior of Thailand and rafting. The cost was so minimal and the experience was unforgettable. I loved this hotel! No complaints.

Spectacular Scenery View from the Hotel Lobby and room;s Balcony Good Quality of Breakfast Fantastic Room Condition Bad Point : Far away from town area and Taxi is very expensive

The hotel was fantastic! The hotel its self is seperated into 5 different buildings. I say request to stay in one that is close to the lobby. Like i said the hotel was great but kamala beach was not clean .when we come back we will stay in or by surin beach.

The hotel staff, environment, food, drinks, etc were everything one can think of at a beautiful resort. The small details that the hotel takes the time to take care of is truly appreciated and inspiring for customers to feel relaxed and well pampered. If I had one complaint, it is that the beds are just too hard...but, as soon as we asked for assistence, the staff responded immediately and kindly.

Stunning design with beautiful calm atmosphere. Sienna Rocks was a daily paradise for us. The views from our room were outstanding. The welcome upon arrival was unique (choosing own scented oil against a backdrop of the most amazing view). Food was excellent with wonderful staff who were friendly and pleased to help. The jacuzzi room we had was what we'd consider to be the best placed in the hotel, gorgeous layout, felt very high spec and luxurious. Gen Manager Tor was a great host and went out of his way to make our stay just perfect. Thank you all.

This hotel looks absolutely incredible, but has a lot of shortcomings. 1. It's located next to the water, but you can't get to it and the beach is 15 minutes walk away. Not much around the hotel either. 2. I got a ocean view suite, but the view was mostly obstructed by palm trees. 3. Lights in a few places are out, so people are stumbling on stairs. 4. No hot water in the gym was very upsetting. 5. Internet is slow. 6. Massage at 2500 baht is a bit much. 7. Smoking in the lobby is allowed. 1. People are very helpful. 2. Breakfast buffet is great. 3. Sienna Rocks next to the hotel is a pretty cool pool hang out overlooking the water. Overall, nice new hotel, but not worth the price.

Had read the reviews prior to booking and despite some sub standard reviews related to ants in the room, water pressure and out of the way location, booked anyway based on more favorable reviews. Absolutely no complaints. Views and setting was fantastic. Staff was incredibly helpful and freindly. Facilities were top notch and no complaints about location with short walk to beach.

We booked this hotel because of the nice pics online through the 360 cam, and the hype about it being the most romantic hotel in Asia. But we were thoroughly let down. I don't know how they got the high ratings, but I suspect they are using a PR tactic of having people vote and rate it to increase business. The elevator to the lobby wouldn't be a problem, but it is so tiny and smelly inside. It feels cheap right away. Then, we entered the lobby at 1am, and recieved a very cool reception. Not expected after a late night flight and when tired. We were checked into a room with a tree obstructing anything of a view, and I had to call after 20 minutes when our bags did not follow us. Thankfully they changed the room the following afternoon. The cheap materials used and poor design (water basin splashes everywhere, light switches are hidden all over, USB music hookup doesn't work, cheap metal frames, balcony railings etc) are apparent after just an hours stay. Service never improved during our stay. We had booked a hotel driver, and he never showed up, prompting us to be late for our show. I would say this is a 3-3.5 star hotel at best, masquerading as much better. The view was nice and that was about it. If the could substantially improve the service, it might make up for the shoddy amenities. Don't be taken in by the hype like we were!

Stayed at Cape Sienna from 25/9 to 6/10 with my husband. Modern decor with stunning views of the ocean apparently tower 2 has the best views. Only negatives are that the bed is quite hard but they will supply a bed topper and that there is no clock in the room. Complimentary breakfast is quite extensive and enjoyable but some of the food is not kept hot enough, they need to work on this.We had one dinner at the Plum restaurant which was outstanding but not large servings, it was my birthday and they brought out a Chocolate Mousse cake and the staff sang happy birthday,you can book a pod overlooking the ocean but unfortunately the weather was not good.Other meals can be purchased at the pool side and these were reasonably priced at approximately $10 AUS. All staff were pleasant and friendly but Yut went out of his way to make you feel special and impart lots of advice, he is a definite asset to the hotel.There isonly one shuttle running daily from 4.30pm to Patong there needs to be a couple more.Make sure that you book this at least a day in advance. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel with a charge of 600 B($20AUS), this is non negotiable but you could hire a scooter or walk into Kamala(5 mins) where you can hire a tuk tuk,these are usually 400B($13AUS). A Tuk Tuk driver we used for most of our time is called Man and his wife is Ang ,you can find them at Kamala Beach. Must see attraction is Fantasea,if going to Phi Phi do not go on the Phi Phi Cruiser,too many people.

on selecting preference '2 double beds' for our room - i was surprised to find 2 singles and a rollaway upon arrival. the very unhelpful staff informed me they do not have rooms with 2 doubles - so why it was available as an option is a mystery really. in this configuration i had to sleep apart from my partner, and our other guest ended up in a foldaway instead of a double. the staff would not offer any options, apart from pushing two beds together. it would be fair to say that they did not care. further to this upon requesting info on shuttle transfers we were informed they were all full, not just for the day we wanted, but for days to come. again staff did not bother to offer any other options. this did not seem at all like the level of service i was expecting from a 4.5 star hotel in thailand. to summarise - breakfast is good, amenities are nice, but service is terrible. i will not be returning.

Cape Sienna is located north of Patong in Kamala Bay. When you arrive you are greeted with delicious lemon grass tea and a sample of scents to choose from that determine the shampoo/conditioner/body lotion they give you. We had a balcony that faced Kamala Bay and a room for 3 people with a king bed and a single cot. The cot was actually quite comfortable. The only complaint we had for this hotel was that the walls are thin and we could hear the lyrics to the music that our neighbors were playing. The only meal we ate at the hotel was breakfast (which was included) and was absolutely scrumptious. They had a very wide variety of food including noodles, fried rice, fresh omelets, french toast, crepes, cereals, and much more. We ate our other meals at restaurants down the road, where a 7-11 can also be found. I definitely will not be returning to Kamala as the area seems boring and probably will not be returning to Phuket as it's too expensive and also boring, but the Cape Sienna is still one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

14-10-2010 to 18-10-2010 Cape Sienna is relatively a nice hotel. These are my points; Transportation is very expensive if you want to see other locations than Kamala Beach "400 BHT for 1 way to Pa-Tong". However, you can use the hotel shuttle bus everyday at 5:30 PM to PA-Tong but you have to book 1 day before. For me I had never used it. Food is very expensive in hotel and they cook SAMPLES not a real meal. Me and my wife laughed for about 15 min when I saw the smoked duck dish. If you want to get satisfied you will pay not less than 7000 BHT if you are a large man like me. "DONT TRY THE SMOKED DUCK DISH IF YOU ARE HUNGRY”. In day one I have complained about a very bad smell in bath room and shower room. They had very powerful incense mentioning this will solve the issue but it did not. This was the major negative point about this hotel. On the other hand, the C view is wonderful. The Jacuzzi is wonderful but it was very windy when I booked. I suggested for the hotel to make a glass door or any kind of cover or else you won’t be able to enjoy in windy days. The DVD facility is fabulous. You can borrow any DVD for free along with free net PCs next to the lobby. Room very nice and comfortable. Pool is very nice only they were doing some maintenance in the morning and there was a drill sound while having breakfast”for one day only”. I had enjoyed my stay there and I recommend this to other honeymooners. As a Muslim, Breakfast was a little bit limited as it contains a lot of ham. In my opinion, you have to visit this place at least once in your life.

For once the reality exceeds the pictures. The hotel is situated to give every room a fabulous view. My room was fantastic - well-appointed, spacious, well-decorated. It was just a shame I was traveling on business and so solo. Very romantic place, quiet location, jacuzzi on the balcony (warning - I could see my downstairs neighbors jacuzzi from my balcony so use discretion). The only downsides are that it is a 10 minute walk into town, but a nice walk along the seawall of the beach at that, and that the snorkeling tour involved a 1 hour ride to the other side of Phuket, which I didn't mind because I got to see many other parts of the region, but very twisty roads - not a ride for those who get carsick easily. But Cape Sienna is in good company, right next door to Conde' Nast's 5-Star Gold Choice hotel and spa for Phuket. The breakfast buffet was fine as well. I really didn't want to leave the hotel!

The hotel is basically closed after 11:00 pm - no room service, no one for check in. The breakfast was very poor, but lunch was excellent. The bed is hard, but the price is great and the pool is very nice. Good views. There are better in Phuket, but these cost more.

We stayed in Cape Sienna to visit Kamala Beach. Not the greatest beach in Phuket. I'd recommend Kata / Karon / Patong Beach for beach relaxation. But, if you stay in Cape Sienna, you don't need the Beach. Excellent place. The receptionists speak great English and Service is GREAT. There's a little glitch in our stay though, we were asked for minibar consumption that we didn't take, and the room's umbrella (which wasn't available at all in the first place). Fortunately, the staff can understand our situation and bid us a good farewell. Highly advised to visit this Hotel/Resort!

Wir übernachteten drei mal im Cape Sienna und waren von dem Hotel begeistert. Es ist ein ziemlich gepflägtes Hotel. Es liegt zwar nicht am Strand, aber dies hat uns nicht weiter gestört.

휴식을 위한 리조트 입니다. 주변에 부대시설은 편의점 하나.. 그나마 그것도 한 5분정도 밖으로 걸어나가야 있습니다. 휴식만을 위한 여행숙소라면 추천합니다. 하지만 관광 투어의 목적이시라면 고려해보셔야합니다.

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel mit super Führung. Bevorzugt sea view Zimmer buchen, die gross und modern ausgestattet sind. (unbedingt ein Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken, lohnt sich). Das Personal war mit uns vom Zimmermädchen bis zum Küchenchef sehr freundlich und gut geschult. Es hat 2 schöne Pools, im Hauptgebäude den grossen und einen kleineren aber mit toller Aussicht im Nebengebäude. Leider liegt das Hotel nicht direkt am Strand, es sind aber nur wenige Gehminuten bis dahin. Man nimmt ein Tuk Tuk, einen Mietwagen oder den Hotelshuttle, den man übrigens auch an den Patonbeach nehmen kann, wenn man mal ausgehen, shoppen, an die Banglaroad usw. gehen möchte. (free). Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man ein wenig Ruhe haben möchte von den grossen Touristen-Hochburgen.
